RoboCop Hack for Gold, Credits & Research Points

We all remember RoboCop from the movies released in the eighties and nineties. He being the robotic cop that he is, blasting trough enemies with his special guns, the enemies never stood a chance really. How would you feel like actually playing as RoboCop on your smartphone? Well now you can! RoboCop (the game), developed and released by game developer Glu has been downloaded over ten million times on Google Play Store with a rating of 4.2 out of 5 and a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store.

Goal of RoboCop is to upgrade your weapons and suit to increase your fire power. You need to complete all OmniCorp tests and become an ultimate law enforcement officer. OmniCorp is the corporation which has simulation rooms where they test out their robotic cops.

You start of the game with a tutorial which shows you the basics of the game such as how to take cover behind obstacles and how to aim and fire your guns. At the end of the tutorial you get to a boss stage, where you need to destroy a robot. After that you will be taken to the “World map” where there are several stages you need to clear to get to the next one. Every stage gets more difficult and some stages have special boss levels where you need to capture the suspect in question. The stages in RoboCop consist of sections. Once you clear out a section of enemies, your robot will move to the next section automatically which you need to clear as well, rinse and repeat. You have a health bar during gameplay which will deplete when you get hit by enemy bullets. Once your health bar is at zero, you need to replay the whole stage.

You have special powers which you can use in order to progress easier trough the stages. You got an x-ray vision scanner which scans the area and you can see the enemies who are hiding behind cover. You got a special shot power, which slows time and lets you tap exactly where the enemy is, after that the enemy gets shot and either dies or loses a huge chunk of his hp. If you are really in a pickle, you can call in a drone strike, where two small drones come in to your rescue and clear out a scene for you. You got a hundred energy in total and you lose twenty energy for every mission you play but no worries, you replenish one energy for every minute.

After you successfully finish a mission by clearing all enemies and defeating the boss, you will get a reward of cash and a few research tokens. Research tokens are used to get a higher chance of success at an upgrade. Sometimes it can happen that you spend money on an upgrade but it fails, this is where the tokes are good for. With the earned cash you can upgrade your robot’s gear. The first tier suit that you are wearing comes for free and you can upgrade it by using the cash which you earn by finishing missions or by using gold coins which you can buy in the in-game store.

There are four different suites for sale. The first tier suit is free, the next three cost gold coins. There are many upgrades you can apply to your suite, but they only open up when you upgrade the ones before that upgrade. You can see it as an upside down pyramid. Once you apply the bottom upgrade, the next two to three upgrades become available to you. This upgrading system also applies to your weapons.

There are five types of weaponry you can buy and use. SMGs, Shotguns, Railguns, Plasmaguns and Exotics. The cost of buying them and upgrading them can vary from a few thousand in-game cash to a few hundred thousand in-game cash.

RoboCop In-game store

Like many free-to-play games, RoboCop also has an in-game store. In this store you can buy gold coins which you can use to your advantage, process through the game faster and buy much better weapons, suits and upgrades. While you are not required to spend real money in RoboCop, it is kind of difficult and takes a long time to grind for cash to upgrade your weapons if you do not. The in-game store only sells gold coins, not in-game cash or research tokens.

The prices vary greatly for packages of in-game gold coins. The smallest package of one hundred gold coins is $4,99 and it goes up until packages of three thousand gold coins for $99,99. With these gold coins, you can easily purchase very high tier weaponry and suits.

You can watch an advertisement video to earn free gold coins. You can also complete offers on SponsorPay, where you have to download different apps and games and test them out, or fill in surveys and after you complete them, gold coins will be awarded to you.

AppGameCheats RoboCop Cheats & Tips

There are certain websites out on the internet which claim they have working gold coin cheats and other hacks for RoboCop. I took the liberty to test these websites out for you guys and let me tell you one thing, you do NOT want to download these so called cheats. People often design these websites so they look professional and trustworthy, and when you want to download these so called cheats and hacks, you get redirected to another website which makes you fill in a survey before you can even start downloading the files. Once you fill in a survey and you download those files, you soon will find out that the files were fake or even worse, you just downloaded a virus on your computer. I downloaded these files on a virtual machine so no harm done to my computer, and I would really advice you guys and girls to not fall for this sneaky little trick. Instead of RoboCop cheats, I will give you some tips and tricks which will help you on your way in this game.

RoboCop Weapons Tips

When you first start playing RoboCop, you have a level one tier handgun and suit. Although you could easily complete the first stages of the game with just that basic gun and suit, you might want to consider buying new weapons. Newer weapons are much more powerful that the one you already own, even if you upgrade your first weapon. Instead of wasting too much money upgrading it, just buy new weapons and upgrade those. You also start with the level one tier suit. While it does the job, you might want to consider dropping some gold coins and getting another one. The other suits have a much higher attributes such as health and defense. Also, only consider buying shotguns if you are good at aiming on a smartphone. Shotguns are hard to handle in RoboCop, so instead of buying a shotgun, consider buying the level two tier handgun or SMG.

RoboCop Grinding Tips

Buying newer weapons, suits and upgrades can cost you a pretty dime in RoboCop. If you find yourself stuck on a level because your gear is just not doing the trick, you might want to grind for some cash on other levels. Challenge missions are known to reward you with the much needed cash for these upgrades. The harder the challenge missions, the bigger the reward. After you have grinded up enough cash, you can buy new weapons and upgrades, and easily proceed with the next stages of the game.

RoboCop Clearing Levels Tips

In RoboCop there are a few important things to consider when you are playing a level. When you are playing you will notice that enemies hide behind cover. What can be useful for you is to move around from cover to cover so you will get a better angle on the enemy. This way, you can easily shoot them even if they are hiding behind concrete roadblocks or barrels. Sometimes snipers will show up, and even if you are behind cover, they will still be able to shoot you. Move from cover to cover so the sniper can’t hit you, and then shoot at him to bring him down.

Your enemies like to hide behind cover but this should not be a problem for RoboCop. You do not need to wait for your enemies to show themselves, you can just keep shooting at their cover, be it a concrete roadblock, barrels, or even a car. What is nice is that the car will actually blow up, so beware if you are taking cover behind a car, it can also explode on you causing massive damage. The best thing for you to do is to move from cover to cover, which will cause your enemy to aim slower at you while firing. You will also take less damage if you are hit.

While the main objective of clearing levels is to shoot the enemy, sometimes you get the option to capture the enemy. The enemies you are able to capture will have an option to be scanned by you. If you choose this option, you will capture them. Captured enemies will give you more points at the end of the mission.

RoboCop Review

A nice thing about RoboCop is that it starts off with a well build tutorial. You learn the ins and outs about the game and you get the hang of it. In the tutorial you learn the basic controls and your objectives. You learn how to control your robot, take cover behind objects, shoot and capture your enemies and at the end of the tutorial there is a boss fight. A gigantic robot starts attacking you and you need to destroy it in order to finish the tutorial and move on to the real missions. You will still receive notifications about weapon upgrades even if you have finished the tutorial. This is nice for casual mobile gamers because RoboCop has a lot of options to discover.

After you finish the tutorial, you move on to the world map where you can select the stage you want to play next. First thing that I noticed about these stages are that they are pretty detailed. The graphics and animations are pretty amazing for a mobile game. The enemies and surroundings are dynamic, they move and shoot, and you can break objects which is also a nice touch. The first time I played, I actually shot and destroyed a car, which I didn’t think would have happened, so that’s also very nice. The gameplay itself is pretty straight forward. You start at the beginning, clear every scene, move on, either capture or destroy the boss and you are finished and get your reward. With this reward you can purchase new weapons and upgrade them. There is an option to connect trough google play so you can share your results with others on social media.

Unfortunately, one of the first things I also noticed about RoboCop is that it lacks originality. While the game is graphically amazing, it just looks like Deer Hunter, which is a game by the same game developer. The only difference are gameplay and the models. The whole “pay coins/cash to upgrade your weapons and gear in order to continue” is the same model used in other games. This is unfortunate, because RoboCop could have been an amazingly original game with its own story. Now it just feels like one of those cash grab free-to-play games.

Secondly, the developers made sure to make it hard to earn gold coins and cash in the game itself. This way it is almost impossible to get a decent high tier weapon. When high tier weapons cost upwards of fifty thousand cash or 500 gold coins, you can imagine how long you need to grind the same stages over and over again to collect that kind of rewards.

Last of all, there are ads in the game. Normally I do not mind ads, because of course the developers spend time on making their games, but when ads become obstructive, it becomes a different story. In RoboCop, ads will pop up on your screen just at times when you are supposed to tap the screen to continue. This is very irritating and just is a huge turn off from the game.

While there are some great aspects to the game such as the graphics, gameplay and sound effects, these get overshadowed by the negative aspects. The developers should look into this to keep their casual gamers playing RoboCop.

RoboCop Ratings

Artwork: I give RoboCop an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics are of high quality and smooth. The stages, enemies, weaponry and of course Robocop himself are very detailed and you can tell that the developers put some time into making them. The light effects and special effects during different gunfire is also a nice touch. There are certain cut scenes before you get to the boss fight which is also very nice.

Music & SFX: I give RoboCop a 7/10 for its music and SFX. First thing you notice is the main menu soundtrack, which fits the whole Robocop theme. It is thrilling and makes you wonder what is going to happen next. The gunfire and explosion SFX are decent and do not hurt your ears when you play the game.

Story & Originality: I give RoboCop a 5/10 for its story and originality. While the story about being a robotic cop is and destroying your enemies is original, the game itself looks like an idea that has been hashed out many times before. For instance, Deer Hunter, which is another very popular game by developer Glu, is basically the same idea but with different artwork. It is unfortunate that this happens often with mobile gaming.

General Gameplay: I give RoboCop a 7/10 for general gameplay. Once you get through the tutorial, the gameplay gets pretty straightforward. Good thing about it is that there are many options to explore and many weapons and upgrades to unlock. The gameplay itself moves forward in a good pace and is not hard to get a hang of this game.

Addictiveness: I give RoboCop a 6.5/10 for addictiveness. While RoboCop itself is pretty fun to play and can suck you in, you get stopped by the amount of energy you still have. You got a hundred energy in total and it costs twenty energy to play one mission. So after playing five missions you get forced to stop and wait till it refills itself. You can either wait a minute for one energy to replenish or you can fill up your entire energy bar by spending twenty gold coins. So you either have to wait a long time before you are able to play again (twenty minutes for one missions) or you can spend real money to play again right away. It is up to you.

All things considered, I give RoboCop a 7/10
