Anger of Stick 4 is an action game created by Blue GNC which is a company known for the Chicken Revolution series and Hungry Mole. This game is the latest sequel of the Anger of Stick series which was very popular among mobile device players. Anger of Stick 4 will run smoothly on any Android device that has at least the 2.3 version and on Apple devices that run iOS 6.0 or later. The game has 4 out of 5 stars on Google Play and 4 and a half on Apple Store and it has around 4 million downloads.
In Anger of Stick 4 you are a Stickman that fights his way through endless stages (there are around 600 but who counts) full of enemies. According to the developers this game is greater than the previously titles because it introduces elements of RPG, some new air combos and a new feature called “Strong Automatic Battle Function”.
There are 2 types of currency in game but both of them can be bought with real money. While the Gold drops when you defeat enemies the Gems don’t, so it is fair to say that the Gems represent the premium resource. They can be bought for $2.99 in exchange for 800 to $29.99 for 10.000. For Gold, prices vary from $2.99 for 30.000 Gold to $99.99 for 1.400.000 Gold and you can also buy Auto Time with real money.
If you are playing the action game Anger of Stick 4, then you know that gems and gold are really important to help you get the items you need to progress in the game. You can purchase gold and gems through the app store, but these items cost real money, and that often adds up after just a couple purchases. That is why we here at AppGameCheats have decided to add Anger of Stick 4 to our hack database, which gives you all of these items for free.
Check out the image below and you will see how easy the hack tool is to use. The options menu is where you enter the amounts of gems and gold that you want to add to your gaming account.
Download the free Anger of Stick 4 hack tool, which takes 20 seconds, and then wait another 20 seconds while it automatically installs. Select either iOS or Android depending on which device you are using to play the game. Then, you can enter the amounts of gems and gold that you want to add.
Press on “Start” when you are ready, and the hack tool will begin, which takes about 30 seconds to complete. Once that is done, simply open up the game on your device and you will see the items have already been added to your game. If you use our free hack tool, you can get all the items you need for the game without spending a time purchasing the gold and gems through the app store.
Side Note: There is a rumor running around the Internet about a cheat engine for Angry of Stick 4. That presumably application will probably do nothing but harming your mobile device so I strongly recommend not downloading or installing it.
Getting gold without paying money in this game is very hard. However, the enemies seem to drop different amounts of gold depending on how you kill them so try to end them differently. The difference is not big but every piece counts.
If your life is running low and the AI recommends you to buy a HP refill do not proceed further. You can replay the stage and the amount of gold necessary for receiving full HP again is probably more than what you collected in the stage until that point.
A lot of the stages have secondary objectives. If your HP is not too low you should complete them for additional rewards.
Always try to complete 100% the stages with bosses. They are hard to defeat but they will drop you Gold and Gems.
If you can play with Friends I strongly recommend you to do that. You will have more fun and collecting Gold will not be so boring.
There are 9 kinds of heroes you can buy and each one of them can level-up further. As I mentioned before if you don’t want to invest real money in this game getting all of them will be almost impossible so I tried to categorize them based on their HP & Attack damage ratio. This is a personal opinion because all of the Heroes have a unique style and their combos may be stronger even though their stats are lower so in the end it’s your choice what Stickman you play with.
Basic Stickman – HP 293 & ATT 17. This is the Stickman you unlock at first. He fights with his hands. If you level him up he will look eventually like a pugilist. He does not enter any category because he is mandatory for the player.
Smart Investments: Sword Stickman (Number 2) – He is the next available Stickman and it has a decent amount of HP and ATT. He is not very expensive and it is fun to play with him; Bazooka Stickman (Number 6) – His attack is great and his HP is above average. He costs 150.000 Gold but should be a solid choice for an active player;
Laser Stickman (Number 8) – Undoubtedly the best Stickman in the game. Best ATT and second best HP. He is very expensive too – 250.000 Gold.
Bad Investments: Pistol Stickman (Number 3) – He has the same HP as Number 2 and only 6 ATT more for 15.000 gold – not worth it ; Ninja Stickman (Number 7) – It costs 180.000 Gold but his attacks are very low compared with other ninjas. He may have some pretty fun combos but I would not buy him; Robot Stickman (Number 9) – The most expensive stickman but his ATT is not great and he gets 22 HP more than Number 8 for 100.000 Gold – way too much.
Neutral Investments: Monster Stickman (Number 4) and Rifle Stickman (Number 5). Their stats are so average that they can’t even be categorized. Buy them only if you like their combos or their appearance.
I have not played Action-Brawler games for a while and I was very enthusiastic about Anger of Stick 4 and the game made me feel that way…for an hour. I got bored pretty quickly mainly because of the limited combos. The enemy’s difficulty is fine (not too easy not too hard), the levels are well proportioned (not too long) and the tutorial was explained properly. However something was not right because I felt like the game offered me all that it had to offer too soon – all was left in one hour was endless grinding for Gold in order to unlock another Hero and to start the grinding again.
I played Anger of Stick 4 long enough but I could not understand the purpose of two mechanics of the game. The first one is the option of the Automatic Battle Function – Basically I watch how my Stickman fights the other stickmen like I am watching a show. Thanks but no thanks. The second weird mechanics I encountered was the fact that I had to enter a Chest at the end of every stage in order to finish it (if this is an inside joke or something I apologize to the fan base, I will check). I also did not like the fact that at the beginning of the game when I had 100.000 Gold and I would have had the money to buy a different Stickman than the basic one the game did not let me. Don’t give me money to buy a Stickman in the first place then or at least give me less money. Teasers!
Overall I think that Anger of Stick 4 was rushed and it would have been a much nicer game if the developers would have worked more on it.
Artwork: Anger of Stick 4 receives from me 6 out of 10. It is funny that the game is about Stickmen fighting…but that is not called artwork. The background is not looking very modern and it repeats pretty often. Even though in this type of games the artwork is not the most important feature I think that throwing a bunch of same-looking Stickmen (with different hats, colors and weapons) on a 2D background is not good enough – it feels like the 90s.
Music & SFX: I give this game 6 out of 10. The music is weak – same 10 seconds song running over and over again. The SFX are present and somehow realistic but they are not so great either. The sound is one of the reasons the game does not look good. They should have definitely invested more time for the music because the repeatability of the same music and sounds will eventually annoy the player.
Story/Originality: Anger of Stick 4 gets 5 out of 10. The fact that this game is the 4thone of his genre says pretty much about the originality. The sequels are not even made by the same company and there are dozens of similar games on the market. Even though in the description of this one you are told that the city (what city?) is in ruins and you must fight (for what?) the game does not have a story whatsoever.
General Gameplay: It is 6/10 for the game. The idea is not bad but it is wrong implemented. In my opinion in these types of games you should focus more on the combos and special moves and maybe the possibility of using the environment in your favor and in Anger of Stick 4 that is what they focused on the least. They tried to make it look like an RPG but I believe that RPG games don’t work very well with Action-Brawler games (at least on mobile devices). In addition to that, the controls are placed on the touchscreen and it can get really frustrating to do a more advanced combo or pressing repeatedly on so-called buttons can become unresponsive often.
Addictiveness: Unfortunately, Anger of Stick 4 scores 5/10 here. The game has a lot of potential going but the developers did not managed to fulfill it. The fact that there are a lot of Heroes to be played with and that they level-up and become better and the fact that you can play with your friends should “help” to the addictiveness but except for the multiplayer I find these features rather frustrating. The costs of the Stickmen should be lowered or the Gold drop should be higher or the Level-Up should happen more often – I don’t know what but something should have been different.
I give Anger of Stick 4, overall a rating of 5.5 out of 10. It’s too dull to get more.
