300: Seize Your Glory is a game published by Warner Bros. International Enterprises and released on the Google Play Store and iOS. With over ten million downloads and a rating of 4.1 aggregated from over 415,000 reviews, it’s clear that 300: Seize Your Glory is widely popular and well-liked. However, is it deserving of its popularity and rave reviews? In this article I review the positive and negative aspects of the game while providing Tips, Tricks, and Cheats to make your playing experience as easy and enjoyable as possible.
300: Seize Your Glory is an action RPG based on the popular action movie 300: Rise of an Empire. In the game, you control Greek general Themistokles in his quest to repel a Persian invasion perpetrated by the Naval forces led by Artemesia.
The title screen of 300: Seize Your Glory allows you to start the game, play a certain episode in the game by clicking Select Battle, refresh your handle on the controls under How To Play, and adjust various options in the game in the Options section.
300: Seize your Glory guides you through the basic controls and as you progress through the game, new concepts are introduced. Despite learning a few more concepts, at the beginning of the game the player will pretty much have a good handle on the game’s controls. Themistokles, the main character, is moved around using a virtual gamepad on the bottom left of the screen. As far as combat goes, attacks are trigged by pressing the sword button and you can block by pressing the shield button.
A few stages into the game the bow and arrow is used briefly, and functions like ranged attacks in other mobile games. You move the targeting reticle using your finger and then fire an arrow using the weapon button once you have an enemy in your sights.
Attacking enemies multiple times in a row results in attack combos that adds extra points to your score. Also, chaining frequent attacks fills up a secondary resource bar that, when filled, allows you to execute a special attack that instantly kills an enemy, accompanied by a slow motion and gory cinematic.
If you should find yourself low on health, search for a chest with a thin red outline. Running over these chests will result in a bunch of health restored or even complete HP restoration.
300 Seize Your Glory is such a fun action and adventure game, but it requires a lot of health to get through the game. You can get health and unlock God mode through the app store but this costs you real money. If you would like to get health, a better score, and unlock God mode without buying anything, you need to check out our free hack tool.
If you look at the image below, you will notice that the 300 Seize Your Glory hack tool is really easy to use. All you have to do is click to unlock God mode, and then enter the amounts of health and the score that you want right into the options menu.
First, download the free hack tool from our website, which takes around 20 seconds, and then wait 20 seconds while it automatically installs. After that, select either iOS or Android, depending on the device you are using, and then enter the amounts of items you want, and press the button to also unlock God mode.
Finally, when you are ready to begin, press “Start” to begin the hack tool, which takes around 30 seconds to complete. You then can open up the game as normal, and you will see that the items have already been added to your account.
Though I’ve covered the basics of combat in the section above, there are a few combat tips that will make it easier to go through the combat and get a high score.
By double tapping the shield button, you’ll knock your opponents back and leave them vulnerable to exposed attacks. This becomes a little more important later on as your enemies’ defenses are a little harder to penetrate.
If you find yourself under fire by arrows, quickly tap and hold the shield button. Taking a full arrow volley’s worth of damage will quickly deplete Themistokles’ health.
Use the special instant kill attacks strategically when you’re finding yourself overwhelmed by enemies to quickly thin out the pack.
To view your ranking among your friends and the world at large, connect the game to Facebook. Sharing a status to Facebook after completing a level will also give you a small boost to your score for that level.
300: Seize Your Glory provides an excellent gaming experience, the problem being that it doesn’t provide it for very long. I was able to complete the game from start to finish in about ten to 15 minutes. Though this may cause some players to instantly write 300: Seize Your Glory off, the way the game is executed – in my opinion – somewhat makes up for the lack of content.
First, the developers managed to make pretty decent looking graphics. Usually when a mobile game goes for realism with its art style, I end up feeling like I’m playing a bottom-of-the-barrel Play Station 2 game. However, the art is clean and not blocky, and I felt like the art was an asset rather than a detractor.
The music and sound effects are not super noticeable but add a nice feel to the game.
Combat is smooth and enjoyable, and I had a blast playing despite the ending coming a little too soon.
My final point, and the most important one in my opinion, is that there isn’t any monetization present in the game at all. No advertisements, no premium currency, no “deluxe” version of the game – nothing. A short experience is a lot more forgivable when a developer isn’t trying to get money out of you at every turn.
Ultimately, 300: Seize Your Glory provides a very brief, but very enjoyable experience. I was left wanting more gameplay, and upon further research discovered that there is a sequel to the game – welcome news for fans wanting more.
Artwork: The graphics were decent but nothing to write home about. Definitely better than average for mobile games that shoot for realism in their art style. Rating: 6/10
Music / Sound Effects: The music isn’t really apparent but the sound effects were nice and added more enjoyment to the combat. Rating: 7/10
Story / Originality: The story doesn’t extend beyond “Persians are invading, repel them”. As far as originality goes, 300: Seize Your Glory didn’t really innovate but still provided an engaging experience Rating: 4/10
General Gameplay: The gameplay is extremely enjoyable. Combat was fluid and provided incentives for executing fancy combos. The glaring issue here, though, is that the game is astoundingly short. Rating: 7/10
Addictiveness: The game might provide some addictiveness in the sense that you can compete to raise your score and consequently your ranking, but it really didn’t keep me coming back for more. Rating: 3/10
Overall Rating: 300: Seize Your Glory provided a super enjoyable experience completely free of monetization. Had this been a longer game I would have given it a very high score, but unfortunately you really can’t call it much of a game when it lasts less than 10 minutes. Rating: 7/10
