Imagine a game where your soul purpose is to hurt your opponents by any means necessary and take them down in arena-like levels. This means that you need to throw explosives at them, throw them off cliffs, and punch them in their mouths and take many other actions that are available to you, in order to be the best. This is exactly what BombSquad is all about. Play against NPCs or your friends and see who the best bomber is in the whole game. BombSquad has been developed and successfully released by game developer Eric Froemling.
The game is very popular among mobile gamers because it is similar to Bomberman, but has far more features in it and way better graphics. BombSquad has been downloaded over five million times with a great rating of 4.2 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 5 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. If you enjoy puzzle/action games and you would like to blow your friends up, than BombSquad is just the game for you!
You can play BombSquad by signing in with your Google+ account or by using a Guest account. If you decide to log in with your Google+ account, you can go to your profile and change your name. You won’t be able to access your profile or change your profile icons and name if you sign in with a Guest account but you will be able to access all game modes, no matter how you decide to play the game.
In BombSquad, your goal is to use any means necessary to take down enemy characters. Your character will spawn in an arena-like level, where you will need to withstand several waves of enemy characters. By taking down every enemy, you will win the level and receive tickets, which is the currency of BombSquad. Of course, there are boosters in the game, which will greatly help you achieving your goal. The boosters fall in crates from the sky and there are a total of nine of them, each one having their own perks. There are also Med-Packs, which will heal your health points and allow you to stay in the game longer.
You have four different controls, which you can use to take down your enemies. The first control is called Punch, which you can use to punch characters and do damage to their health points. The faster your punch is moving, the more damage you will do. The second control is called Pick Up, which allows you to grab almost everything from the ground, even enemy characters. You could, for example, pick up an enemy and throw him/her off a cliff. The third control is called Bomb, which allows you to throw a bomb at your enemies. Bombs are stronger than punches, but may result in self-inflicted damage. The fourth control is Jump, which you can use to jump over gaps or use to throw things further away.
There is a so called “Gather Mode” which allows you to play against your friends, but it is advised that you all are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Next to the Gather Mode, there is the Single Player / Co-Op mode, the Teams Mode and the Free-for-All Mode. In the Single Player / Co-Op mode, you can play with up to four people to take down enemy NPC characters. In the Teams Mode, there are two teams who need to work together to take down the enemy team. In the Free-for-All Mode, everyone needs to play alone to take down enemy characters. Both the Teams Mode and the Free-for-All mode is online, which means that you will need to connect with your friends in order to be able to play these modes.
In BombSquad, your gameplays will be automatically recorded and you can watch them by tapping on the “Watch” button at the main menu. This feature will allow you to show your favorite gameplays to your friends and you can even extract the gameplay files out of your mobile device and upload them on YouTube, for example.

You can also purchase BombSquad Pro in the in-game store. There are two different ways of earning tickets for free in BombSquad. The first option is to watch advertisement videos, which will reward you with 10 tickets each. You can also share the game with your friends by sending out your referral code to them. If your friends start playing the game using your referral code, you will get 150 tickets each time.
If you are playing the action game BombSquad, then you have probably found out that tickets and money are really important for the game. While you can get these items through the app store, it costs real money, and this can really get expensive. If you would like to get the tickets and money for free, then you need to download our free hack tool.
If you look at the image below, you will see how easy the BombSquad hack tool is to use, and all you need to do is enter the amounts of each one that you would like to add to your account right there on the options menu.
First, download our free BombSquad hack tool, which takes around 30 seconds. You then need to wait 30 seconds while it automatically installs. Select either Android or iOS, and then enter the amounts of each one you want on the options menu.
When you are ready, simply press “Start” to begin the hack tool, and wait about 30 seconds while it finishes. After that, open up BombSquad on your device, and you will find the tickets and money have already been added to your account.
There are many fake cheat websites on the internet that claim they have working cheat tools for BombSquad. The reason I say that these cheat websites are fake is because of the fact that the cheat tools they are offering do not work. The developers of those fake cheat websites are only out to trick people and make money off of them. The way they do this is by offering cheat tools (which do not work) and make a lot of promises, telling you that you will have unlimited amounts of in-game currency and lives etc. But there is a catch; before you are able to download the so called cheat tool, you need to fill in a survey, after which your download will start. These surveys generate an income for the developers of the fake cheat website, and that is the only thing they are after. The cheat tool that I found could allegedly give me unlimited amounts of Tickets in BombSquad, and could also unlock every item for me.
For the sake of this review, I decided to try out the cheat tool for BombSquad, which I found earlier. I went on the cheat website and clicked on the download button. Immediately a text pop-up showed up, telling me that I needed to fill in a survey in order to be able to continue with my download. I filled in one of the surveys and clicked on start download, after which my download started. The download was in the form of a RAR folder and when I tried to unpack it, I received several error messages. The error messages were saying that the folder was corrupted and that I should download the folder again. Of course, this is the doing of the cheat websites, trying to trick people into filling in another survey. There is no such thing as a working cheat tool for mobile games, so instead of looking for cheats for BombSquad, I will give you some tips and tricks that will help you with your gameplay.
A very effective way to take down enemy characters is by picking them up and throwing them off of cliffs. This will result in a win for you because of the fact that the health points of your opponent will be zero instantly. This tactic is especially effective against NPC opponents, because they do not know what to do to get out of your grip. When you found yourself in the hands of your opponents, you should mash the Punch attack, making your enemy drop you.
When you are trying to avoid enemy attacks such as Bombs, you can always run away to be quicker. You run by holding any direction button, but this will make turning harder for you, which can result in unforeseen accidents. You should always try to avoid standing near cliffs, because it is easy for your opponents to take you down or simply push you off and make you lose the game.
Be sure to pick up the random boxes that fall out of the sky. These boxes have very useful power-ups, boosters and bombs in them, which can give you a big advantage over your enemies. There are several Bomb power-ups, making your bomb into a deadlier weapon. There are also things such as land mines, med-packs, boxing gloves and even a cursed box. The cursed box will deplete everyone’s health points and your only way to survive is by picking up a med-pack box within a few seconds.
It is very nice to see that there are still some developers left in the mobile gaming scene that actually try to make their game original and entertaining for their players. BombSquad is a type of game that is more fun to play with your friends, but is still very entertaining even if you play it on your own. I really like the fact that the gameplay starts with a tutorial that shows you the ropes of the game, allowing you to get the hang of it and play the game properly. If you are still confused, you can always go back and read more about the game by tapping on the “How to Play” button at the main menu.
The gameplay of BombSquad is something that I have never seen before on a mobile platform and the closest game I can resemble it to is called Bomberman. The game has near perfect graphics and music integrated in it, even the user interface and the main menu is very clear and easy to navigate through. The developer of BombSquad almost did everything perfectly well, but unfortunately there are a few negative aspects about the gameplay, which really bothered me.
BombSquad is a free-to-play game, but it has many advertisements implemented in it. The worst part is, that the advertisements are in the form of videos, which pop up occasionally and you cannot skip them. It is very understandable that a free-to-play game such as BombSquad has ads in it, but the developer should do his best to implement them in such a way that it does not obstruct or annoy the players at all. Right now, with the video ads which you cannot skip, the developer does the very opposite.
Of course, you can purchase BombSquad Pro, which costs $4,99 and will make the game ad-free, but this makes it feel like the developer implemented very annoying advertisements on purpose to force people to purchase the Pro version of the game. The developer should look into changing this because I can imagine a lot of players getting turned off by video advertisements.
The second negative aspect which I experienced during my gameplay is the fact that BombSquad is meant to be played with friends. That fact on itself is not a problem, but not everyone has two to eight friends around them at all times. I think it would have been nice if the developer had implemented an online mode, where you could play against other players around the world instead of locally against your friends. That being said, the developer has stated that the game is still being developed, so we might see this feature implemented into the game in the near future.
Artwork: I give BombSquad a 9/10 for its artwork. In my opinion, BombSquad has one of the best graphics I have ever seen in a mobile game. This is not due to the fact that the graphics are high definition or anything like that. It’s more because of the fact that I think the developer has created a certain type of graphics that really fits perfectly well with the game mechanics of BombSquad. Not only are the graphics really nice in BombSquad, there are also many animations that simply perfect the game visually. I like the fact that the developer made sure that the animations enhanced the environments, making the game feel more alive and entertaining to play. Next to all of this, the level designs are very nice, which obviously means that the developer spend a lot of time designing the artwork of BombSquad.
Music & SFX: I give BombSquad an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There are several soundtracks in BombSquad, making the gameplay very entertaining. Many free-to-play games only have one or two soundtracks, which can be pretty boring after a while, but this is not the case with BombSquad. BombSquad also has a lot of sound effects, when mixed with the soundtracks, results in a perfect sounding mobile game. I really like the fact that the developer of BombSquad took the time to make the music and SFX align and fit together with the visual aspects of the game, making the game more enjoyable to play.
Story & Originality: I give BombSquad a 9/10 for its story and originality. I have played many mobile games over the years, but I have never played a game like BombSquad before. The concept of the game is pretty unique, while it also took several aspects from older games such as Bomberman. I like the fact that the developer managed to give his own twists to the game, making it a very entertaining and original game for me to play. There is no real story in the game, but there is a tutorial at the beginning of your gameplay, explaining what your goals are and why you are doing what you are doing.
General Gameplay: I give BombSquad an 8/10 for general gameplay. As I have mentioned above, the gameplay starts with a very nicely build tutorial, showing how you can control your BombSquad character, how you can use your attacks and how to take down enemy characters. There are a lot of ways to play the game, so it is nice that the developer decided to implement a tutorial. After the tutorial ends, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but still very fun and entertaining to play due to the different game modes and all the items you can unlock and purchase in the in-game store. The controls are very responsive and the user interface is nice and clear, allowing you to navigate through the main menu with ease.
Addictiveness: I give BombSquad an 8/10 for addictiveness. It is very nice to see that the developer of BombSquad did not implement any limitations into the gameplay, which means that players can play the game whenever they want, however long they want. Every game mode is already unlocked and you can easily earn Tickets in order to be able to purchase items in the in-game store. The only real obstacle is the fact that the game has video advertisements, which is very annoying and might turn off some players from the game itself.
All things considered, I give BombSquad an 8/10.
