Cow evolution takes the abstract and makes it concrete, paying you for each cow pie produced, with classic brown manure going for $10, silver going for $100, gold fecal droppings going for $1,000, and solid diamond dumps going for $10,000.

In Cow Evolution each cow is a mutant and you get paid for breeding mutant cows together for their lucrative manure. Drag and drop similar cows on each other to travel further down the genetic code, creating more grotesque, interesting, and lucrative bovines. The more you evolve the beast, the more areas you can unlock.
There are five areas where your bovines are allowed to roam: the farm, land, the world, mars, and the universe. You begin with harmless cutesy cows which can be evolved to eventually breeding mythic godlike cows. Each area, except for universe, can hold 16 cows maximum and the color for the area changes each time the universe is recreated.

On the final level, Universe, you unlock one of 5 “ultimate beings”, mythic god-like cows who instead of squirting out manure like their base predecessors, illuminate the sky with brilliant shooting stars. Only one ultimate being can be unlocked at a time so to unlock the others the universe must be restarted. However, before you do that you have to get your ultimate being to level 4, this can be done by upgrading lower level cows.

The higher the mutation level the more each poop is worth, for example simply upgrading from farm to land means your cows in land view can now produce poop worth 100s, 1000s, and 10s of thousands of coins.

Cows produce poop on their own, as is naturally the case, or you can click on them to force them to evacuate their bowels. You can click on a cow as many times as you like, and the higher the rating of the cow, the more valuable the poop. Normally poop is produced at a rate of about 1 per 2 seconds, but you can click on a cow 5-6 times per second if you’re quick enough.

However, there is one caveat, for higher rated cows who produce poops worth hundreds or thousands of coin, clicking on them will result in quicker poop but much less reward. For example a cow who would normally drop a load worth 1,000-10,000 coin every few seconds will produce poops worth 1-10 coin when clicked on. It doesn’t take a mathematician to see that clicking on the cow is only worth it if you’re using low level cows.

If you’re playing an older version of Cow Evolution, upgrade to take advantage of this amazing cheat. In the newer versions of Cow Evolution, you have the option of interacting with Aliens either on Earth or on Mars. Contrary to our currency the aliens pay in rubies which are quite valuable, more so than a gold coin but not as valuable as diamonds.

You have the option of going to Mars and breeding your cows there in exchange for rubies, or selling your earthling cows to aliens on Mars. If you’re given the option, always choose the latter. Selling your cows on Earth to Aliens will get you much more rubies than going to mars.

On the farm level crates are dropped every 10 seconds containing a baby cow. As soon as you get the chance upgrade your crates so that they are dropped every 5 seconds, and upgrade so higher level cows will be dropped.

Furthermore, take advantage of the tractor system which is very much like auto mode. The tractor allows you to reap coins even while you’re away from Cow Evolution, once I bought a two hour tractor and went from a few thousand coins to around 2 million in under an hour.

Because Cow Evolution can be time consuming, I highly recommend this cheat to be used alongside the tractor cheat for maximum coin production. Go into your settings and turn off automatic screen lock and automatic screen shut off. Then, plug your phone into the charger and go to your most lucrative area and just leave the phone for however long you’d like and come back to money in the bank!

By going to the most profitable area, usually the highest area you’ve unlocked, you will earn the most coins. Also, once you need to unplug your phone to go on a trip/make a phone call, etc. Enable tractor mode for however long you’re going to be gone and repeat the process as many time as you’d like for maximum coins.

Lastly, the premium in game currency is diamond, as I’ve mentioned before, to get free diamonds there are certain things you can do. First, you can watch short video advertisements from Tapps affiliates, this will earn you one free diamond per video. You can do several of these a day. Also, you can like their social media pages to earn free diamonds. And lastly, for every crate you open there is a 2% chance there will be a diamond in there so keep an eye out for those.

Our Full Review

I thoroughly enjoyed playing Cow Evolution, it’s very easy to get started, very simple, and instantly addictive. I found the jokes hilarious and there were many surprises that kept me from getting bored. One of my favorite aspects of Cow Evolution is that you don’t have to spend any money to have a great experience and to progress at a reasonable pace.

There were also a few things that needed improvement. The developers should have created a pricing structure that allows satisfied customers to support them without shelling out a wad of cash. For example, diamonds should have been much less valuable and there should be smaller packs for sale. Rather than 3500 diamonds for nearly $400, 50 diamonds for $3.99 or something along those lines would have been much more feasible and realistic.

Rarely do I give out 10s, especially for story and originality, but Cow Evolution is one of the few games where you rarely encounter something you’ve seen before. Even the premise, mutating cows and collecting their poop for money, is wholly original. Getting this premise to work would’ve been very difficult for many other developers but Tapps does it in a way that seems organic and quirky without coming off as weird.

General Gameplay 10.0
Gameplay was perfectly optimized for mobile devices and controls are highly intuitive. Within 2 minutes I had the whole game figured out, allowing me to immediately begin enjoying this wonderful game.

Addictiveness 9.5
Very, very, addictive! I cannot emphasize how silly it sounds but you will spend all of your leisure time on Cow Evolution and you won’t regret a second of it!
