Car Town Streets is a racing game developed by Cie Games and published by Miniclip.com a company well-known for games like Plague Inc, Agar.io, Rail Rush or 8 Ball Pool. The game has a rating of 4.1 out of 5 on Google Play and 4 out of 5 stars on Apple’s App Store and it has been downloaded for about 1 million times. It requires an Android version of at least 2.3 or, for Apple devices, at least iOS 4.3
Even though in the game’s description it is saying that Car Town Streets is a racing game, it is much more. The game is an interesting combination of a car-themed base-builder with a racing combat system. The game is intriguing right from the beginning – Your role is to reclaim the fame of an old abandoned city by creating a competitive team of racing cars.
Car Town Streets does not require a mandatory sign-up. At this moment, you can only sign-in if you link your Facebook or Google+ accounts with the game. I recommend doing so because in this way you will be sure that you will not lose any storage data and because the game rewards you with some goodies once you linked it. Also, the game has an average amount of ads that will pop-up at the end of the “battles” and from time to time in the menu but nothing too annoying.
Car Town Streets runs on different type of resources (Coins, Cash and Car Parts) and it has a sort of action-points system implemented (every car costs some Fuel while in Race Mode, fuel regenerates by itself). Cash represents the game’s premium resource and can be bought with real money or can be rewarded after completing quests in-game. Prices for Cash vary depending on the amount of real money you spend – $4.99 for 111 up to $89.99 for 3188 Cash. You can also buy Crates – $2.99 for 345 Parts up to $39.99 for 11500 Parts and Coins – $1.99 for 25,000 Coins up to $29.99 for 833,000 Coins.
One racing game that you will fall in love with is Car Town Streets, but coins, cash, and parts are essential to the game, and you need all of these in order to progress through the game successfully. While you are able to get the coins, cash, and parts through the app store, you will find out that it gets really expensive to keep making these in-game purchases. If you would like to get the parts, coins, and cash without spending real hard-earned money, you should download our Car Town Streets hack tool, which is available right here on the website.
The image below shows you just how simple the Car Town Streets hack is to use, with an options menu where you can enter the amounts of each item you would like to have in your gaming account.
Download the Car Town Streets hack tool, which takes 20 seconds, and then wait 20 seconds while it automatically installs. Then, you need to select either Android or iOS depending on the operating system you are using. After that, just enter the amounts of coins, cash, and parts that you would like to have.
When you are ready, tap “Start” to begin the hack tool, and this process should take no more than 30 seconds to complete. Once that has finished, open up the app on your device as normal, and you will find that the items are sitting in your account ready to use. This hack tool allows you to get all the items you need without spending a penny in the app store, which then allows you to enjoy the game more since you can focus on the racing and equipping your cars with the needed items to win.
After the initial setup of the town, upgrade your fuel station. It costs a lot but it will also help you with the fuel issue.
If you are not sure what to do, keep an eye on the objectives. You will be rewarded every time you manage to complete one.
Assign your cars dream jobs as soon as possible. If they are happy with their job they will provide you more Coins and XP.
Upgrade cars to ensure that their level is matching your current level. In this way you create a nice balance. Take notice that a car’s maximum level is 10.
Keep a continuous flow of cars in your Garage. While you are waiting for a car to be discovered, make sure your queue is full with other cars. When a spot is free start the search – you will get more than just cars.
Do races. After you collect all the trophies unlock the treasure because it will grant you an awesome car and other extra stuff.
Don’t race against players with a greater number of cars than you. They will always win and you will lose Fuel meaninglessly.
When you are defending, the “race” will take place in your town so make sure you have roads that helps your Defense Team to gain advantage.
Possible Exploit: When you are searching for cars in town and you get a flat tire you will need to pay Cash or return home and lose the Coins you’ve paid earlier. In order to avoid this just minimize the application (usually pressing the Menu button) and then force close the app (depends from device to device). When you will re-enter the game you can start the search again.
One of my guilty pleasures is the Disney’s film called Cars. I know it is for kids and that I am all grown-up but I don’t care, that film is great. Car Town Streets is the best resemblance of Cars and I love it. The game is not a racing game but a car base-builder race-oriented game (I came up with this unique genre). If that confuses you think about a Clash of Clans but with cars instead of troops and races instead of fights.
The game is well-made and has a lot of interesting things to offer. First of all, I like the story plot – it isn’t anything original or unbelievable but it is nice to “restart” a town and make it awesome. In addition to this, I think that it is very cute the fact that you salvage for abandoned cars that would like to work in your little freshly-recreated town – it gives the game an emotional touch. Secondly, I like the trophy reward system. You must race for 6 different trophies in a Challenge and if someone challenges you for an owned trophy you lose it. That way racing will always be interesting. Least but not last, I really like the interface of Car Town Streets. It is really user-friendly and everything is car-related. There are no weird or vague options and overall, it’s all neat. Games these days forgot about being simple yet nice-looking.
Like every game in the world, Car Town Streets has some flaws too. Personally, I would have loved to see a more developed cinematic for the combat system. I was really disappointed when I saw the cars on the track and then after 10 seconds a wall of text that explains me who just won and why. Also, I think that the possibility of team-up with a friend (one has the Attack team, one the Defense Team) or something like that would have been awesome. The only major thing I don’t like about Car Town Streets is the fact that it is a bit slow-paced at first. You can’t do many races because you level-up faster than you get cars so you don’t really have anything to do. Other than this, the game looks great.
Overall, I think that Car Town Streets is one of the funniest and interesting games I have played in a while. I would definitely recommend anyone to install and try it.
Artwork: Car Town Streets gets 8 out of 10 for its artwork. Everything about this game is colorful and cartooned and makes even the most serious adult feel like he entered a time lapse to his childhood. However, this is the game’s theme and there is nothing wrong about it. The cars and the buildings are looking nice and modern and the few animations that can be encountered in game are a pleasure to watch. There is nothing fancy about the graphics of the game and I honestly believe that it does not need it. Car Town Streets looks good enough even without the latest graphic engine or “eye-catching 3D visuals” that other games brag about.
Music & SFX: I give Car Town Streets 8 out of 10 at this segment. The music suits the game even though it doesn’t really match the theme. It is discrete and can be heard in the background but there is nothing really fancy about it. However, it creates a pleasant atmosphere and in the end, that is music all about. The sound effects that are present in the game (a little few if you ask me) are great and they fit with the music and helps creating the atmosphere I was telling you about. Car Town Streets is not a game where its music and SFX stands out but it is the living proof that you can do a great job in this department with little effort – the secret is to care enough about it.
Story/Originality: The game receives 9 out of 10 for its story and originality. As I mentioned earlier, Car Town Streets looks like a Clash of Clans with cars. And that it’s just great. It is a new fresh approach of the base-builder games and I won’t be surprised to see a new trend going on – new planets, zombies or trains. Until then, the game gets the maximum rating for the originality. The game also has some story incorporated and even though it is pretty quirky and common, at least it is available so it receives 8 out of 10. I really like that Car Town Streets is a great game made from small little pieces of content and extra stuff all put together.
General Gameplay: I give Car Town Streets 9 out of 10 at this section. At the beginning you have an introduction to the story and a tutorial that gets the things going. The gameplay of this kind of games is very intuitive and there is nothing right or wrong in Car Town Streets. You can mostly do whatever you want and you don’t know what you want you can always follow the Goals. The pseudo-combat racing mode is simple to understand and you will don’t have problems with it. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that the game is a bit unresponsive when the cars need a refill or a change of tires. Other than that, Car Town Streets runs smoothly and I have not encountered any major bugs, freezes or crashes with the game.
Addictiveness: Car Town Streets gets 8 out of 10 for its addictiveness. Even though the game does not excel when it comes to the combat system, it has all this extra features that make it addictive. There are 4 different types of jobs for your cars when they are not racing, you can level-up then with spare parts, you can go on a car hunt in other towns, the cars need fuel and a change of tires, you set up an attacking team, some of the cars have power-ups. All of this makes Car Town Streets a great experience for the player. And everybody knows that a great experience always persuade people to come back and play the game again and again and again. I don’t really know if the developers are planning on updating Car Town Streets but if they do and if they add some multiplayer implementation I think that the game will stay in the tops for a long time.
Overall, Car Town Streets gets a rating of 8.4 out of 10. The game looks good and solid and it is a nice experience.
