If you enjoy the classic board game called Battleship, and you would like to be able to play it on your mobile device against your friends or other players, then I got just the game for you! Sea Battle has been developed and successfully released by game developer BYRIL, and is very popular among mobile gamers. This is due to the fact that Sea Battle is the mobile version of the popular board game called Battleship. Sea Battle has been downloaded over ten million times with an astonishing rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. So place your battleships, load up your cannons and prepare yourself for the largest sea battle you have ever experienced on a mobile device.
Sea Battle has four different game modes, which you can play for free. The first game mode is called Player vs. Computer, which is the single player game mode and basically means that you will be playing against an automatic system. The Player vs. Computer game mode has two different sub-modes within; Classic mode and Advanced mode. In the classic mode, you will simply play the game just as you would play the Battleship board game. You and your opponent place their battleships on the board and you will try to hit and take down each other’s ships. The advanced mode is basically the same thing, but has several boosters available, which you can use to take down your opponents battleships easier. The power-ups include a Bomber airplane, Torpedo airplane, radar, anti-aircraft turret, nuke and mines. You can purchase these power-ups with in-game cash, which you earn by winning against your opponent.
The second game mode is called 2 players, and in this game mode you can play against a friend or family member, on the same mobile device. The 2 players game mode also has the Classic and Advanced mode. These are the same as the Player vs. Computer sub-modes, as I have stated above. The third game mode is called Bluetooth Battle, in which you can play against a friend or family member using a Bluetooth connection. Both players need to enable their Bluetooth on their mobile devices and connect with each other, in order to be able to play in this game mode. The Bluetooth Battle game mode also has the Classic and Advanced sub-modes. The fourth game mode is called Online Battle, in which you can battle against random players around the world. To be able to participate in Online Battles, you will need to sign in with your Google+ account, which also enables achievements.
Sea Battle has an achievement system implemented in it, which enhances the difficulty of the game and adds a challenge to it. Achievements are nice for players who enjoy being challenged in games, and even though the achievements start off being very easy, they get significantly more difficult, the more you progress through the game. You can access the achievements tab by logging in with your Google+ account, which also allows you to share your in-game experiences with your friends.
Sea Battle In-game store
There is only one kind of currency in Sea Battle, which is in the form of in-game cash. You can easily obtain in-game cash by playing the game and winning against your opponents. You can then use the cash that you have obtained, to purchase power-ups in any advanced game mode. In-game cash is only obtainable by playing the game. There is no in-game store or bank where you can spend money to purchase in-game cash or power-ups.
The following power-ups are available in any advanced game mode in Sea Battle; Bomber airplane, torpedo airplane, radar, anti-aircraft turret, nuke and mines. When you activate your bomber airplane, it will drop a set of bombs in a certain area of the playfield, hopefully hitting your opponent’s battleship. The torpedo airplane drops a single bomb, which goes in a straight line and will help you see if there are any battleships in that particular line.
The radar will show you if there are any enemy battleships in a particular area, for a short period of time. The anti-aircraft turret will help your battleships defend themselves against enemy aircrafts. The nuke will blast a big part of the playfield and destroy any battleship that is placed in that area. Mines are cheap and can only be placed on your own playfield. If your opponent hits your mine, his turn will immediately end.
Both the bomber airplane and the torpedo airplane cost 10 in-game cash. The radar costs 15, anti-aircraft turret costs 8 and the mines cost 2 in-game cash a piece. The most expensive power-up is the nuke and costs 110 in-game cash.
Sea Battle is a very fun game that you can play on your mobile device, but you need a lot of mines, nukes, and radar to get through the game. You can get the mines, nukes, and radar in the app store, but this costs real money, and it gets pretty expensive over time. Due to the popularity of Sea Battle, we have decided to add a hack tool for this game, which means you can get unlimited amounts of each item for free just by downloading our tool.
The image below shows you how the Sea Battle hack tool works. Just enter the amounts of mines, nukes, and radar that you want to add to your gaming account.
The first thing you need to do is download our Sea Battle hack tool, which takes about 30 seconds. You will need to wait 30 seconds while it automatically installs on your device, and then select Android or iOS. After that, just enter the amount of mines, nukes, and radar that you would like to get for your account.
When you are ready to begin, press ”Start” to begin the Sea Battle hack, and this process should take no more than 30 seconds to complete. After that, just open Sea Battle on your device like normal, and the mines, nukes, and radar will be right there in your account ready for you to use as needed. Using our free Sea Battle hack tool allows you to enjoy the game more since you will not have to worry about spending a penny in the app store.
When you are dropping bombs on your opponent’s playfield, you should always scatter your bombs around. This is due to the fact that your opponent always puts his ships all around the map, making it more difficult for you to successfully land a bomb on any of his ships. Beware that this is only the fact when you are playing against the computer. When you are playing against your friends or other players around the world, they can sometimes trick you and place their ships very close to each other. They do this so that they can trick you and frustrate you, when you keep missing every single one of your opponent’s ships. Of course, if you do successfully hit a ship, you will most likely take down all of their ships because they are very close to each other. I would not advice anyone to place their ships very close together, because that tactic usually ends up in you losing the battle.
If you have difficulties to get used to the gameplay in Sea Battle, there are a few websites on the internet that offer step-by-step walkthroughs. You can use these walkthroughs to see how to properly play the game and almost guarantee yourself of wins. The walkthroughs are usually in the form of picture slideshows, but there are also several videos that show you how to use proper tactics to trick your opponent, and win many battles at a time. You can find these websites by typing “Sea Battle Walkthroughs” in Google, and the first few results are the websites that you need to click on and visit.
Before I started playing Sea Battle, I could already imagine how the gameplay would be, but I was still pleasantly surprised by a lot of positive aspects that I experienced in my gameplay. For starters, Sea Battle features four different game modes which you can play for free. You can play against the computer but also against your friends or even online against other players around the world. The second positive aspect about Sea Battle is its graphics. I have never played a game before, that has simplistic graphics, yet made it really fit the general gameplay of the game. There are also several sound effects in the game, which fit the graphics very nicely. What I like the most about Sea Battle is the fact that there are no energy bars or lives, which means that I could play the game as many times as I wanted to.
There aren’t many negative aspects about Sea Battle, because the game is overall very well designed. In fact, there were only two negative aspects that bothered me a bit. For starters, the developers of Sea Battle have implemented advertisements into the game, which can be obstructive and annoying at times. The advertisements come in the form of banners, which are alright, but there are also pop-up ads, which are annoying. The banner advertisements do not obstruct you and you will probably not tap on them on accident, but the pop-up advertisements are a different story. The pop-ups show up exactly when you are about to tap on your screen, making it feel like the developers are trying to trick players into accidently tapping on the ads. The worst part about the advertisements is that, if you accidently tap on them, your game will minimalize and your browser will start up. This is very obstructive and annoying, which can also lead to players getting turned off from Sea Battle.
The second negative aspect about Sea Battle is the fact that online battles did not work very well for me. I had trouble connecting with random players around the world, which already took several minutes on itself. Once I got connected and the battle started, there were many lag spikes, leading to either the opponent or myself disconnecting from the battle. This was very frustrating because of the fact that I wanted to experience the game against other players instead of my friends. After trying a few times, I gave up and didn’t try connecting to an online multiplayer game again. Of course, I am not here to trash the developers of Sea Battle. For all I know, the lag spikes were because of my device or my internet connection. Perhaps the developers can look into checking the online connections of their game, allowing players to connect more easily together.
Artwork: I give Sea Battle an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics and animations in Sea Battle are very unique and decent in my opinion. The graphics look like you are playing Battleship on pieces of paper, against your friends or random players around the world. I have never seen a game that used similar kind of graphics, but I really enjoyed the fact that the developers have kept it simplistic. There are also several animations, which fit very well with the graphics and make the game feel more alive. Animations such as successfully hitting a battleship or missing it are very nice and fit perfectly together combined with the graphics of the game.
Music & SFX: I give Sea Battle a 7/10 for its music and SFX. There are no soundtracks in Sea Battle, but thankfully a game such as this does not need any. However, there are several soundtracks, which really enhances the gameplay. Sound effects such as missing enemy battleship, hitting enemy battleships and sinking enemy battleships are very nice and really fit the overall theme of the game. I like the fact that the developers have kept the sound effects as minimalistic as possible, so that they would fit with the graphics and animations of the game.
Story & Originality: I give Sea Battle an 8/10 for its story and originality. There are probably dozens and dozens of battleship games out on the app stores, but in my opinion, Sea Battle sticks out and takes first place. It is very nice to see that there are still developers out there that are creative and developer their own original idea, instead of copying game mechanics from other games. I like the fact that the graphics are way different than anything I have ever seen in a mobile game. There is no story in Sea Battle, but you don’t really need one anyways.
General Gameplay: I give Sea Battle an 8/10 for general gameplay. There is no tutorial at the beginning of the gameplay, but there is no need for one in my opinion. The gameplay is the same as any Battleship board game, but with some nice twists to it. I really enjoyed the fact that there are different kinds of game modes to cater to different kinds of players. The gameplay itself is pretty straightforward after you have played it a couple of times, but thanks to the different game and sub-game modes, the gameplay remains very entertaining. I especially like the fact that the controls are smooth and the user interface looks like you are playing Battleship on pieces of paper. I could see myself playing Sea Battle for a couple of hours, challenging my friends and family members to see who the best battleship commander out there is.
Addictiveness: I give Sea Battle an 8/10 for addictiveness. It is very refreshing to see that there are still developers out there that try to be creative and implement their own game mechanics into their games. It is also very nice to see that the developers of Sea Battle did not implement any kind of playtime limitations into their game. This means that players can play this game whenever they want, however long they want. There are no energy bars or lives, which need to replenish themselves over time. I found myself playing Sea Battle for an hour straight, before I even noticed the time had gone by so quickly. The fact that you can play the game alone, against your friends or even against random players around the world, really makes the game very addictive in my books.
All things considered, I give Sea Battle an 8/10.
