I am absolutely amazed about The Walking Dead: Season Two, because I have never experienced a mobile game that had so many positive aspects. I was already familiar with The Walking Dead franchise, regularly watched the TV Show and played the PC version of Episode One. I was already expecting it to be a very good game, but from what I have experienced, it is truly a work of art. I am not exaggerating by saying this, because no other game gave me the feeling that I was playing on a computer, instead of a mobile device. The developers did such a great job at developing the mobile version of The Walking Dead, maintaining the same kind of graphics and sound effects as the PC version. Another very positive aspect about The Walking Dead: Season Two is that the controls of the game are similar to the PC version. You are able to walk around, take action by tapping on the white circles and you even have sequences where you have four different speech options. All of these actions determine what kind of character you are in the game and can result in different endings.
Another very positive aspect about The Walking Dead: Season Two is that the developers did not implement any kind of advertisements into the game. It is very understandable that mobile games have advertisements, because the developers of said games need to earn an income for their efforts and time. The problem with advertisements in mobile games is that many developers are really bad at ad-placement. Usually the advertisements are very obstructive because they block the screen or rather annoying because they pop-up out of nowhere. I am very pleased to see that game developer Telltale Games decided not to go this way.
There are really not that many negative aspects about The Walking Dead: Season Two, especially because it feels like I am playing the PC version, which really tells you that the developers did a very good job with this game. Perhaps the only negative aspect about the game is the fact that you need to pay, in order to be able to play the full version of the game. It is definitely understandable that the developers of The Walking Dead: Season Two are asking for payment, because their game is a masterpiece and they have probably spend a lot of time developing and designing it. The only problem is that not everyone can afford to spend anywhere between $14,99 to $20 for a mobile game. Perhaps the developers of The Walking Dead: Season Two could implement some sort of reward system or offer system, which would allow players to earn new playable episodes, without having to pay for them.

Artwork: I give The Walking Dead: Season Two a 9/10 for its artwork. I must admit that The Walking Dead: Season Two has one of the best graphics I have ever seen in a mobile game. The level of detail is so high, that I could not tell the difference between the PC version and the mobile version of the game. This tells me that the developers have either ported their game so well, or have spent a lot of time on the graphics of the game, to make it look and feel like a PC game. The graphics of The Walking Dead: Season Two are somewhat cartoonish and artful, which really fits the overall theme of the game, in my opinion.
Music & SFX: I give The Walking Dead: Season Two a 9/10 for its music and SFX. Just like the graphics and animations of The Walking Dead: Season Two, the music and sound effects are absolutely amazing. The quality of the soundtracks are the same as the PC counterpart of the game, and you are being advised to use headphones when you play it. Using headphones will enhances the soundtracks and sound effects, making you feel like you are in a real zombie apocalypse, doing anything you can to stay alive. I really enjoy the fact that the developers of The Walking Dead: Season Two have thought about every single sound effect of the game.
Story & Originality: I give The Walking Dead: Season Two a 9/10 for its story and originality. I can’t think of a single game that has the originality of The Walking Dead: Season Two. The game has a very unique story and pulls every single player in, making them feel sympathy or hate for the characters. The game concept itself is very original, even though there are many zombie survival games out on the app stores. It is nice to see that there are still developers out there that care for their work and try to be creative, developing original games.
General Gameplay: I give The Walking Dead: Season Two a 9/10 for general gameplay. I absolutely love the fact that, as a player, you get to make your own choices in The Walking Dead: Season Two. You could be a pacifist and try to cool down situations by being calm, or you could be evil and hurt people’s feelings by making negative choices or saying negative things. The beginning of the gameplay is rather slow, but nice because you will learn how to walk around, how to say things and how to take action. After the beginning sequence ends, the game will pick up a pace and you will be actually running away from raiders and walkers alike. What I also really like is that the controls are very smooth and responsive and the UI is very clear.
Addictiveness: I give The Walking Dead: Season Two an 8/10 for addictiveness. I would have given The Walking Dead: Season Two a ten out of ten rating for addictiveness, if only I was able to play the full game without having to pay for it. It is very understandable that the developers are asking for money, if you want to download all of the other episodes, but they should think about players that do not have the luxury to pay money for mobile games. Personally, I think that there would be other ways to earn money for the developers, such as allowing players to complete offers, so that they could unlock the full game. Completed offers will generate an income for the developers and does not cost anything for the players, so it is a win-win situation really. I was getting really into The Walking Dead: Season Two, before I was cut off.
All things considered, I give The Walking Dead: Season Two a 9/10.
