Imagine being able to participate in wrestling matches with up to ten characters at the same time, with a lot of weapons, attacks and tactics that you can use against them. If this sounds appealing to you, then Wrestling Revolution is just the game for you. Wrestling Revolution has been developed and successfully released by game developer MDickie, and is very popular among sports and wrestling enthusiasts. The game has been downloaded over five million times with a stunning rating of 4.2 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. Wrestling Revolution is available both on Android and iOS platforms and is free-to-play, with an opportunity to purchase the full license. The game does not require an internet connection to play, however certain aspects of the game will be disabled.
Before you start playing Wrestling Revolution, you can choose the language of the game. There are three options; Chinese, Japanese or English. After you choose your language, you will be redirected to the main menu of the game. The goal of Wrestling Revolution is to become the best and strongest wrestler in the world, defeating everyone standing in your way. There are a total of three game modes in which you can show of your strength.
The first and main game mode is called Career, in which you can create a wrestler, name him and wrestler your way to the top. Each wrestling character has five attributes, which determines the overall power of that character. The five attributes are Strength, Skill, Agility, Stamina and Toughness. You will be able to train your wrestling character, which will make him stronger and faster. You will also be able to participate in a sparring match, which is basically a training match before a real wrestling match. Winning matches in the Career mode will increase your wrestling characters happiness, attitude and popularity. These attributes are important if you want to make it to the top, because if your character becomes unhappy, he might stop his career.
The second game mode is called Training, in which you can select a wrestler and move around the arena. You can teach yourself how to execute certain moves or simply bash onto your opponent. The training session will end when either you or your opponent has been tapped out. The third game mode is called Exhibition, which is basically the same as training mode but has no goals whatsoever. This means that an exhibition match only ends when you decide to leave. You won’t lose your health or stamina, and you won’t get tapped out. The exhibition mode is good for new players, who simply want to walk around and mash onto buttons, without having the fear in losing against his or her opponent.
There are a total of four hundred different characters, and some matches can have up to ten wrestlers at the same time. There are also dozens of objects and weapons around the arena, which you can pick up and use against your opponent(s). The further you progress through the game, the more options will unlock and be available to you.
Wrestling Revolution does not have any currencies, which means that there is also not an in-game store. You can play Wrestling Revolution in three different ways, which are the Offline, Online and Pro. The offline mode is for people who do not have an internet connection on their mobile device. You will only be able to access the training matches and limited career modes when you are playing offline. If you do have an internet connection, your status will be set on Online and Sponsored. This means that you have excess to the full career mode and exhibition matches, but the game has advertisements implemented in it.
If you would like to have access to the full version of Wrestling Revolution, but having advertisements does not sound appealing to you, than you can purchase an item called Pro License. Having a Pro License will give you permanent access to all features in the game, and will also remove every advertisement. The Pro License costs $4,99 and will be available to you on all of your mobile devices. As far as I can tell, there is no way to earn the pro license for free, so you will have to pay real money if you want to own it.

Everyone who plays games has used cheats or looked for cheats, one way or another. Many websites know about this and try to take advantage of this fact. There are many websites on the internet that claim they have working cheat tools or mods, that can allegedly unlock Wrestling Revolution and allow you to have the Pro License for free. Normally, you would have to purchase the Pro License for $4,99 in the in-game store, which unlocks every feature of the game and will make the game ad-free, forever. The websites that claim they have such tools or mods, are only out to trick unknowing people. They are nothing but a scam and the way that they operate proves this. Before you can start downloading said tools on each and every website that offers them, you will have to fill in a survey, which generates an income for the websites. After you have filled in a survey, you are of now use to them, and you will soon find out that the tools or files that you have just downloaded are nothing but empty shells.
To prove this to you guys, I decided to find and download a cheat tool for Wrestling Revolution. I went on Google, found a website that offered a mod, which is basically the full version of Wrestling Revolution, and I clicked on it. The website looked pretty decent, which is done on purpose so people feel comfortable downloading files off of it. I clicked on the download button and immediately a pop-up showed up, stating that I will have to fill in a survey before my download could start. I filled in the survey and downloaded the mod, but when I tried to unpack the RAR folder, I received error messages. The error messages stated that the RAR folder is corrupted, which has been done on purpose of course. There is nothing useful in the RAR folder, and the fake cheat websites know this. Instead of wasting your time, trying to find cheats or full version mods, I will give you some tips and tricks to help you with your gameplay.
Wrestling Revolution Gameplay Tips and Tricks
Wrestling Revolution can be a very difficult game for casual mobile gamers, especially because there are a lot of different features implemented into the game, and there are several different control buttons. Thankfully, Wrestling Revolution has an exhibition mode, which is basically the training mode of the game. In exhibition matches, you will wrestle against weaker opponents, which you will easily defeat. You can train and get familiar with all of the controls of the game, without losing anything really. You will also be able to learn the different control combinations, which will allow you to do cool tricks and take down your opponent easier. Once you feel confident enough, you can stop with the exhibition matches and start a wrestling career.
Real wrestling matches might still be difficult for new players, so it is important to understand that you do not need to perform complex moves, in order to win. At the beginning, you should only focus on hitting and grabbing your opponent, take him down and do some damage to him. After you have won a couple of matches in career mode, you can start experimenting with more complex moves, which are of course more powerful than basic moves, but they are harder to execute and you might fail often. After your hands get used to all the different controls, you will be able to defeat much better opponents, even if they are stronger than you are. You should also not forget to regularly train your character, make him stronger and faster. This will allow you to take down your opponents easier and quicker.
Before I started playing Wrestling Revolution, I could already imagine that it would be all about wrestling, and I was right. The gameplay is all about being the best and strongest wrestler in the world, which is not an easy goal to have. I like the fact that there are different game modes, and depending on how good you are at the game, you can choose which game mode to play. For example, I started with the exhibition mode, where I could train how to move, how to punch and kick and take down my opponent. Another very positive aspect about Wrestling Revolution, is that the career mode is pretty detailed. You can change your characters looks, name, skin color and clothes. You need to train your character and keep him happy by winning wrestling matches. It is nice to see that losing in Wrestling Revolution, will make your character unhappy and can result in your career ending early. The developers of Wrestling Revolution did a pretty good job with the graphics and soundtracks of the game, but unfortunately there are also several negative aspects about the game.
For starters, I really dislike the fact that you have to be connected to the internet, if you want to be able to access all game modes. The developers have done this on purpose, so people will not put their mobile device into airplane mode, in order to avoid the annoying advertisements. I also dislike the fact that game is sometimes very unresponsive, which leads to your character being hurt or even taken down. There are a lot of things happening at the same time, which simply clutters the screen and confuses a lot of players.
The second negative aspect about Wrestling Revolution is that the developers have implemented some very annoying advertisements into the game. It is entirely understandable that free-to-play games have advertisements implemented in them, but they should always be placed in a matter that they are not obstructive to the players. The advertisements in Wrestling Revolution are in the form of pop-ups, which show up at random times. What is worst about this, is that the advertisements have a timer on them, and you cannot get rid of them before that timer expires. You are basically being forced to watch an advertisement, which can take up to fifteen seconds. If you accidently tap on the advertisement, your game will minimalize and your browser will start up. The developers of Wrestling Revolution have practically chosen the worst possible way to place advertisements, just to force players to purchase the Pro License. The license costs $4,99 and will remove the advertisements forever, but the developers should know that not everyone can afford to spend money on mobile game.
Wrestling Revolution Ratings
Artwork: I give Wrestling Revolution a 7/10 for its artwork. The graphics and animations in Wrestling Revolution are pretty decent, especially for a mobile game. I have never played a wrestling game on a mobile device before, so I did not really know what to expect. You could compare the graphics in Wrestling Revolution to the early days of South Park. I like the fact that there are a ton of different characters in the game, and a lot of different moves that you can execute. This makes the game more entertaining, because I want to see what kind of moves I can perform and what does the most damage. The characters have their own idle animations, which makes the game feel more realistic and alive. The developers did a good job combining both the graphics and the animations, making them fit well together. That said games like WWE Immortals are on a different level from a graphics standpoint but the gameplay and target market for these two games is probably a fair bit different.
Music & SFX: I give Wrestling Revolution a 7/10 for its music and SFX. Wrestling Revolution has several different soundtracks, which is nice to hear. The soundtracks are of decent quality, and match the overall theme of the game pretty well. There are a lot of sound effects implemented into the game, from grunting wrestlers to being hit with an object. The soundtracks and sound effects are easy on the ears and will not bother the players while they are playing the game.
Story & Originality: I give Wrestling Revolution an 8/10 for its story and originality. As I have mentioned before, I have never played a wrestling game on a mobile device before. When I look up wrestling games on the app stores, there are dozens and dozens of results, but that doesn’t take away that Wrestling Revolution is original. The game has a ton of features, three different game modes, a lot of characters and moves and different arenas, which makes Wrestling Revolution pretty original in my book. There is no backstory, but a game such as Wrestling Revolution does not need one. You can make up one if you would like to.
General Gameplay: I give Wrestling Revolution a 5/10 for general gameplay. I must admit, when I saw the high ratings for Wrestling Revolution, I expected way more from the general gameplay. The gameplay does not start with a tutorial, so you are on your own to learn how to properly play the game. Next to that, the controls are very unresponsive and the user interface is a mess, in my opinion. Once you get started with the career mode, and get used to how the game works, you might get some entertainment out of it. The only reason I am cutting the gameplay some slack, is because there are three different game modes, which means that the developers spend some time on the game.
Addictiveness: I give Wrestling Revolution a 7/10 for addictiveness. Thankfully, the developers did not implement any kind of playtime limitations such as timers, lives or energy bars. This means that you can play Wrestling Revolution whenever you want, however long you want, without having to fear that you will be forced to play. The only reason that the addictiveness is not higher for me, is because the developers made me feel like I am being forced to purchase the pro license for the game. There are a lot of advertisements in the game, and the only way to remove them is by paying $4,99 and purchasing the pro license. If there were no obstructive advertisements, I could imagine the game being way more addictive than it is right now.
All things considered, I give Wrestling Revolution a 7/10.
