Angry Gran Run Hack, Tips, & Cheats for Coins, Gems, & Cash

Want to travel in Australia while also running like you would run in Temple Run?  Do you want some interesting characters to do these runs and unlock other characters while you’re at it?  We have found the game for you.  Made by AceViral.com, Angry Gran Run is now open to all devices which have a compatibility of an iOS version 5.1.1 version or higher.  So people who have not updated their devices for a while, will not be able to download this game due to compatibility issues. The last update that Angry Gran Run has gone through, was version 1.22.  This version unlocked an entire new setting to Angry Gran Run.  This time, it is set in Australia!

So now, with new graphics for the August season, AceViral.com brings an entire new setting to the game along with some new hazards that granny will have to jump and swerve around.  This last update occurred on July 31 of 2015 where AceViral.com just updated the game for the new month.  This is pretty good news for anyone who is really interested in making a completely new kind of setting for almost every single month.  Along with this, players can be assured that the game is updated constantly so that there are almost no bugs in the game or the game doesn’t crash on the majority of players.  Angry Gran Run is only available in English, so you might not have such an easy time due to the game being explained in english.  However, if someone explains it to you, then it will be much easier to play the game even if you don’t know english. Angry Gran Run is available on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Angry Gran Run is based off of the story that the granny has been very angry and has been locked away in an Asylum where she has gone crazy.  The basis is that she is trying to escape from the asylum so that the police don’t catch back up to you and put you back in the asylum.  Granny is relying on you to get you through the streets so that Granny can escape to the streets and get away from the Asylum.  In Angry Gran Run, you will be able to either run, jump, or duck under a bunch of different obstacles that you might experience in any environment that you play in during the game.   During your run, you will be able to do justice for the people and knock out the punks and collect the coins that they drop during your run.  Using these coins, players can start to get some accessories on granny so that they can make their character look a bit more hipster.

For example, players can get a 70’s hippy granny where she gets a couple of dresses so that resemble the 1970s.  Instead of the setting of those temples in Temple Run or the subways in Subway Surfer, granny will run through the streets of New York, the cities of Rome, and finally, this month, the plains of Australia.  Remembering the power-ups in Temple Run that help you get a huge score?  Well they’re back in Angry Gran Run.  You can get tons of power-ups including some invincible shields so that the obstacles can’t hurt you even if you don’t dodge them.  Let me give you a bit of a spoiler.  Wait for the dinos and aliens in the game.

Look out for the punks so that you can gain some extra coins so that you can buy some additional characters so that you can have some extra fun as well as getting the bonuses from upgrading your power-ups.  The first thing you should do if you want to do better in the game and get a higher score, is to upgrade your power-ups so that they last longer.  Power-ups help you in this game immensely and will get you farther in the game if you have them on for a longer time.

Make sure that you keep your finger ready because things can suddenly pop up on the screen because they are hiding behind another obstacle.  Don’t let your finger off too quickly because something could be lingering right behind the first obstacles that you dodge.

Angry Gran Run Review

I think that Angry Gran Run is a solid game that is based off of concepts that are already proven to be very good and very popular such as Subway Surfer and Temple Run while also using some unique characters to differentiate it from those games.  I think that the graphics are definitely up to par and the gameplay is probably better than games like Temple Run because it changes in the background of the game which makes it more exciting and more interesting especially because the obstacles change when the environment changes.

I would recommend this game to anyone of any age.  It is a ton of fun for kids to spam out rounds in Angry Gran Run while also having a fun laugh at the fact that the main character is a granny.  I think it would also be a fun game for adults who would also be amused at the main character.

Artwork

I would give Angry Gran Run – Running Game a 8/10. The game adapts its visuals accordingly to the areas you play, so you will not see yourself tired of the same environment. It has a clean artwork and detailed background; while it will not get you annoyed or uncomfortable, it still keeps the gameplay flowing. The pallet differs from the places so you can feel the changes from one place to another. It has very vivid colors and it feels really enjoyable through the game. The non-realistic vectors make it seem funny so you get the feels right in the beginning. The Angry Gran Run – Running Game has very simple graphics so it will not consume much battery on your phone; that is great for me because I am usually playing it in the school, or while listening to music, or even lunching, so for a day of gameplay it does not consume much battery. I don’t think it would be as good if it had realistic graphics, really, the animation drawing serves the game right and fill its purpose when linking the history to the game itself. The gran could inherit more details as the game passes, like scars, skull rings and badass treats that would ass on the Angry Gran Run a more diversified aesthetic.

Music and SFX

I would give Angry Gran Run – Running Game a 7/10. The upbeat music keeps you at the same rhythm, but it gets repetitive, being so short for a game you usually play for long periods (because it is addictive). The SFX also could improve by having more variations, sometimes you just hear the same effects over and over and that may be a bit annoying if you keep playing for a long time straight, but overall, those points are not really a problem. It has this street feeling constantly so it drags you throughout the game. The music and sound effects serves the game just right. A more instrumental music perhaps would fit better, since it just follows the running, and is not a major feature. The different tracks for different maps is great because it sets the environment you are playing currently, and it makes the transition between phases very smooth and enjoyable. It is a really fun game and no point, even being basic or too simplistic, is ever bad. Another thought is that the game could offer more faster songs as the game gets difficult, as in more beats as the paths presents more and more obstacles. But that could be a problem for hardcore players (or not), since it would get really fast and strange at the end, but it could also be amusing, especially for players who like it to be more exciting as you go on.  The music can be a bit distracting as you move on further in the game.  So if you really don’t like what music that the game is adding in, then you can go and mute it on the main screen page.

Story and Originality

I would give Angry Gran Run – Running Game a 8/10. Most running games do not really care about one previous story nor a context, but it’s fun to see that there are exceptions – the point of “why run?” is answered by playing an old lady that just escaped the angry asylum and needs to get out of the city. The relentless urge of kicking and avoiding everything in the way is hilarious. There could be more elements like cars and bikes to avoid, but the game is already pretty hard after some point. There are some elements that seem out of context, but it does not go against the fun characteristics of the game. Maybe it could risk and put more story under it, like how the grandma got angry or anything, but the story is as plain as it should be. I guess there could be more countries as well with their respective elements of environment, since Australia is not well explained, although it is fun to play in. Aside from the gran, there could be more seniors escaping the asylum, since we are talking about aliens, dinosaur and other insane stuff. Different paths from the same story may be very interesting if the gameplay keeps the same or change very slightly. But even though it’s simple, I like it because it’s enjoyable and doesn’t require much logical thinking to play, just rapid commands and responses. It is a great game to pass the time while in the public transport or at home and it does not take too much from your device.  The game may seem quite original due to the difference in characters that are put in the game, but the game concept itself is a bit copied off of other games.  From this game, I can see temple run.  What I mean by that, is that the game concept of running and jumping and turning in the game as quick as possible as the game speeds up, is so similar to Temple Run that you can replace a couple of characters and switch out the background and you probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this game and Temple Run.  However, I do think that the game characters and this idea of using a granny in order to do this kind of running game is definitely unique.  I have never seen this idea of using a granny or using a kangaroo as the character in any other game.  So while Angry Gran Run may be unique in the characters and the setting of the game, the actual concept in the game is pretty old and overused already.

General Gameplay

I would give Angry Gran Run – Running Game a 9/10. There are some times that this game appears more difficult than other running games, and this is good. Most games nowadays try to ease your life by giving tips all the time and making elements highlight in order to avoid them, but Angry Gran Run – Running Game does just the basic. It only feels uncomfortable at the time to turn corners – there is always the impression you are going to miss it, but it does not. Maybe the lack of timing to press the command makes it feel automatic, probably. But hardly an issue to prejudice the gameplay. Sometimes, you may get startled by close obstacles after making a turn, but the game teaches you to get alert and avoid them more effectively. Besides, there are power-ups that you can buy with gold coins at the store, between gameplays, so they may help you slowing your time or making you invincible to objects. It is surprising, in the first play, that you actually have to bump other senior in the street, – that was a bit odd compared to other running games, but it actually makes the game funnier. In the beginning, the game is not hard, so you can get the drill since. Just keeping firm and steady after every obstacle will make you get better at it and achieve more and more run meters after each gameplay.

Addictiveness

I would give Angry Gran Run – Running Game a 10/10. What makes this game so addictive is the plain reward you get by avoiding obstacles and the amount of power-ups you can buy with the in-game money. It makes your life easier, but that does not mean much since the game gradually gets harder. Collecting an arc of gold coins while jumping a hole is the most gratifying thing in running games, and this game have plenty of it. Besides, with all the other elements commented above, the visual or music hardly annoys you. You get many coins through the game and with the multipliers, you stay with a lot more in the end; later you check and you can already buy all the power-ups. The slow time down power-up is kind of useless many times, to not say every, because It breaks your rhythm. But it also can be useful, like when turning corners – depends when you’ll pick the power up. I like that there is not heavy advertisement to buy gold coins with real money, and that you can play normally only with the coins you gather, so that makes the game really addictive. There could have been more elements in store to buy accordingly to the countries you play in, more clothes and stuff, that would motivate players a lot more to keep playing and getting coins. It is the app I most use when I am on my breaks, lunching, or waiting for transportation. It doesn’t consume much battery and it is relaxing, because although you keep alert and dodging things, you don’t need to put much thought in it, so it’s simplicity kind of wins the game for me.

Overall Ratings

Overall, I would give Angry Gran Run – Running Game a 8/10.
