Call of Mini Zombies revolves around a post apocalyptic world where you are playing as one of the survivors in the game.  Your goal is to go through missions, saving others, upgrading your weapons and surviving yourself.  Each mission will get harder as you finish the previous one, so the game won’t be too easy when it comes to getting farther in the game.  Every 5 days, the game will give you a boss to defeat which is basing its difficulty off of your level.  By defeating the boss, you will be able to gain some crystals which are the premium currency in this game while cash is the normal currency that is available through playing the game.

The premium currency is obtained either by special events that happen in the game or by purchasing some crystals.  There are up to 14 different maps or towns that you can play at where you can destroy as many zombies as you would like while also collecting the money that they drop which you can use to purchase the numerous different weapons that are available through the game store.  You can, not only buy weapons, but also upgrade your weapons so that you can get more powerful weapons and do more damage with each upgrade that you get on the weapon.

Choose between 16 different characters, some by purchase, who have different unique special effects which can help you in combat to fight off the zombies.  As you play through the game, different characters may be better than other characters due to their own individual strengths.  With different characters, come different zombies.  There are 17 different zombies that can all come at your face.  Some of them are ranged, meaning that using a melee weapon will end badly and using a ranged weapon against fast zombies can also end pretty badly.

In Call of Mini Zombies, one of the most important aspects of the game that you need to know is that the game basically runs on the amount of ammo that you have and you have to purchase each bullet that you fire.  This means that you can’t go around like a crazy person shooting in every single direction that is out there, but rather you have to be more conservative with your bullets as well find some source of ammo so that you don’t have buy every single bullet that you fire in this game.  This will save you a lot of money and frankly, is pretty easy to do at a free cost.

So make sure that you are able to save your money for something else like a new gun.  The way to do this is by using a couple of rounds in Junkyard, one of the smaller maps, and use the chainsaw to go around chopping down the zombies.  From these zombies, you will find drops that usually include ammo that you can use so that you can get ammo for free.  This will get you a ton of extra ammo that you can use in the game as well as a ton of extra money that you can use in order to buy a numerous amount of new guns.

When you get into the store where you can purchase a ton of guns and go to the chainsaw where you can purchase the damage upgrade.  Even though it might seem like a waste of money, it is totally worth it because if you remember what I told you before, you can use these upgrades to kill more zombies and not die so that you can get more rewards and more ammo as well as more money.  So ultimately, you will be earning back your money through the damage upgrade because the damage upgrade does do a ton more damage than what you might expect in the beginning.

You can continuously upgrade this throughout the game and it will be one of the strongest weapons that you will yield by the end.  It will do a ton of damage and get you ammo if you ever run out of it.  Ultimately, the chainsaw will be one of the most powerful weapons and also be one of the cheapest weapons as well as the most money earning weapons that you will ever get.  So make sure that you are getting the chainsaw an upgrading it throughout the game so that you can get your moneys worth.

One good strategy you should have in this game is to make a mob out of the zombies that spawn.  This way you will be able to get a lot more money without having to spend as many bullets or spend as much time hunting them down one by one.  In order to do this, you have to have a weapons that you can kill the zombies with that will deal a ton of damage.  You can walk through the zombies wave by wave and they will all gather towards you and walk slowly towards you.  So you can continue to walk past them so that you can mow them down with one spray of your gun or slashing a bunch of times using your chainsaw.  This will not only save a lot of ammo, it will save a ton of money because you won’t have to waste as many bullets as you do now.

In the missions where you have to rescue a person, you will have to do this and know that the person will run as soon as you touch them.  This means that they can get attacked as soon as they are sprinting out.  Be ready for them to start running as soon as you touch them so that you can keep up with them and shoot any oncoming zombies.  In order to complete the mission, your person cannot die so you have to make sure that you are getting all of the zombies away from your person.

After every single mission you are done with, you should try and see if you can upgrade something.  If you don’t, you could be a bit screwed because it will be harder and harder to play with your lower upgraded guns because they won’t do enough damage in order to keep yourself alive.  Make sure that you are always upgrading your weapons after every single round is over os that you can do well and every round is pretty easy.  You usually don’t want to try and save up for a gun because it will be harder to complete the levels coming up to it in order to save up enough money to get that gun.  it really just isn’t worth it.

Call of Mini Zombies Review

I do like that the game has so many different options in terms of which character you want to play as well as the variety of weapons, but I do think that the whole concept is a bit ripped off of other games, but I think that it is fine overall because it is a bit different from the other zombie games.  I think that the multiplayer option is another thing that makes this game pretty original.  The versus mode makes the game pretty good in that it is different in that you can face another player which is pretty unique just to this game and not many other games unless you count console games like Cod or something like that.

For Minecraft players, this game is basically a dream because it combines the graphics of minecraft with the gameplay of Cod.  So basically, I think that the artwork is good for that specific audience, so I’m not gonna give it a low rating because I know that it is good, but it simply isn’t my style of artwork that I am interested in.

The sound effects are also pretty good when the bullets hit the zombies or you knife a zombie to death.  The sound effects are solid in that they aren’t over exaggerated, but rather just right to make it kind of an animated sound, but not so bad.

I also think that the game is pretty nice for addictiveness because it makes you want to unlock all of the characters so that you can try them all out.  It will make you feel like you want to try out each character to see which one that you are best at so that you can rampage through the zombies.  So overall, the game is pretty addicting if you like the Minecraft graphics and can happily ignore them if you don’t like the pixel graphics.

I would give Call of Mini Zombies a 7/10.  I think that the artwork is definitely kind of good but I don’t personally like it.  It is this Minecraft kind of artwork where it looks like a bunch of huge pixels.  So it pretty much is a pixelated game which some people really like considering how successful Minecraft is, but I don’t really like it because it pretty much just hurts my eyes to look at that kind of pixel game.

Music and SFX

I would give Call of Mini Zombies a 3/10.  The music is pretty intense and really fun as well so it makes you want to play the game a bit more than you might have wanted to originally.  Music like this is what music that you are looking for in a game because it encourages you to play the game and get a little bit into it because it is pretty intense and makes you tense and ready to shoot down a ton of zombies.  The sound effects are pretty decent with all of the bullet sounds in the game as well as all of the knife sounds that the game adds to make the game more fun overall.

Story and Originality

I would give Call of Mini Zombies a 2/10.  I think that the story of Call of Mini Zombies is a bit odd because you are just killing other zombies which were originally human and not really trying to find a cure to the zombies.  So I do think that the story is lacking in finding a solution to the whole problem, but I guess the whole game is revolved around just killing zombies for fun essentially.  I don’t think that the producers were looking to make this game a story basically about how they solved the zombie epidemic.  I do think that if they had a solid story, that would make sense, but right now it is kind of like they are just introducing a problem with the whole thing and then not doing anything else besides just trying to solve the whole thing by killing all of the zombies in one town.  For originality, I do think that this game is pretty original in terms of all of its characters and basically everything combined.  

General Gameplay

The gameplay in Call of Mini Zombies is pretty decent with all of the different weapons that are available as well as all of the different zombies  that are available.  To complement all of this, there are plenty of maps that are available so that players won’t get too bored of the game without playing a ton of Call of Mini Zombies and also a ton of different characters players can play as so that the game also isn’t as boring.  The difficulty of each level is pretty good considering that each level is a bit hard, but not hard to the point to where it is so hard to play the game that you quit because of how hard it is.  It is also pretty fun with the day by day kind of action where you get to unlock different things depending on how many days that you log into the game.  For example, every fifth day, there is a new boss that will fight you so that you can get more crystals in the game.  Then, there are also different unlocking points where you get to unlock different game modes the longer that you play.  For example, on day 10, you unlock the VS. mode which allows you to duel other people which is a ton of fun because it brings this light competition to the game.  The currencies in Call of Mini Zombies are also not too excessive to the point where you don’t really want to play because it is pay to win, but there are quite a few venues to get crystals for free, so it is pretty good in being a “not pay to win” game.

Addictiveness

Call of Mini Zombies is pretty addicting if you ignore the fact that it is a pixelated game.  The numerous different things in the game such as characters or zombie types make the game much more fun and unpredictable because you don’t know what you will face whenever you head into a new map or a new mission.  The social aspect is also there which makes the game more addicting because of the added versus mode which allows players to duel each other.  This makes a light competitive setting where players will play the game because they want to improve and not just making a game so that they can do a solo adventure alone.

Overall, I would give Call of Mini Zombies a 8/10.
