There are truly no kind of tips in order to improve in this game because it is just dressing up a girl to your liking without any chance to get new clothes other than getting those mystery boxes or purchasing additional clothes. So my only tip in this game would be to play as much as possible and to play everyday to get those mystery boxes where you might be able to get some additional clothes to wear.
I think that the graphics of the whole game is really nice and really fun but after that, it is a super boring game without anything to do other than spend additional money on the game in order to get additional clothes in the game. Even though the game does offer the occasional mystery box on the ground, it still lacks in the department of trying to do something within the game. After taking a couple of screenshots of the pictures of your friends, the barbie dolls, you are left with nothing to do.
Usually in games like these, you will be able to play some sort of mini game in order to keep yourself interested in the game, but in this game, there is really nothing to do outside of putting on some clothes and makeup, which is kind of strange to me considering that most apps try and get their members to stick to the game through some fun game. But this is finally one game where that is kind of lacking.
I would have played this game much more if it had some other aspect other than what it has right now. It doesn’t appeal to anybody other tahn the classic little girls who would be interested in dressing their barbie doll until they get the right clothes for the girl,and even so, trying to get the clothes that you would otherwise not be able to without paying for them. So I think that the game is kind of targeting young girls to get all of them playing the game and then wanting their parents to purchase the additional clothes for their children to play. It seems like a really cheap way in order to make some more money. So once again, I would recommend this game to anyone who is looking to dress up a little barbie for a short period of time, but nothing else, so really I would recommend this girl to girls below the age of 12.

I would give Barbie Magical Fashion a 8/10. I think that the artwork is what makes this game popular at all. The size proportion of the barbie is actually what you might expect from a regular human being, besides the animation that is put on the character, but at least the head of the character is not the size of a bowling ball like other games which have this kind of more animated picture of a girl which has a bigger head than her body and all the other body proportions on the girl are also screwed up. I also think that the artwork is what makes thte game currently. This is because if they didn’t have this kind of artwork, the game would go down sinking because nothing else about the game is exciting especially because the game is lacking any kind of fun in the gameplay department.
Although the artwork is pretty much just taken off of barbie, I think that they at last did a good job of implementing the artwork of barbie into the game because it really makes the game a to more nostalgic to players who have played with babies before, while also being pretty unique and different from other games for people who are just playing with dolls for the first time. It gives a good representation for people who have not held a barbie doll before like they used to and instead putting it on an app store so that clothes and different barbies do not have to be purchased, but rather played on the game itself or paid for in the game for a couple of different outfits, which would otherwise cost more in an actual store.
Music and SFX
I would give Barbie Magical Fashion a 3/10 because the music and sound effects really suck. Although it may appeal to young girls, I don’t think it would appeal to anyone else. The music in the game is kind of obnoxious and so repetitive that it gets quite annoying to continue hearing. It is not really any fun and makes the game really boring in terms of listening to the same thing over and over again. They really need an option to choose some kind of different music pack because I might pay for a different music pack so that I don’t have to listen to the same music over and over again so that I can rather listen to something different than the current music. I think that the sound effects in the game are pretty average with the saving and taking a picture sound pretty much what you would expect out of the game without fault as well as the make-up soujnds of someone getting make-up put on him or herself. It is really nothing surprising, so while it is not bad or good at all, it is also not exactly that surprising or new.
Story and Originality
I would give Barbie Magical Fashion a 2/10. There really is no story in Barbie Magical Fashion where there really should be. The fact that there is not story in Barbie Magical Fashion just goes to show how little effort they put into making the game anything but a profit app to make a little bit of money off of innocent little girls. They could have implemented any kind of story that made the game adventurous, for example, adding in some kind of prince that they have to look for in order to find true love or something cheesy like that, but anybody would really fall for that kind of storyline.
The fact that it is only putting on some make-up on your character and then putting some different clothes and saving a screenshot of it all is just ridiculous and kind of makes a fool of the game itself without any kind of addictive repeatable game like Temple Run to justify not having a story. Games like Temple Run don’t have to have a storyline to it because it is just a repeating game that is all about running over and over again while trying to get a high score in the game to impress their friends or something like that. Barbie Magical Fashion is the complete polar opposite of this. It doesn’t have any kind of repeatable gameplay or frankly, any gameplay at all. So it really has no reason to not have some kind of storyline to the game when it doesn’t have anything that makes people want to compete with each other. You either have a competitive game or a really adventurous game where you can have some solo fun discovering new things. Because this game lacks both and the story is non-existent, I can’t say that there is a solid story in Barbie Magical Fashion.
For the originality part of the game, I also don’t think it has too much originality to it. It is using the Barbie franchise to its advantage by trying to get some small girls to play the game because of their love of Barbies. It basically lacks anything fun within the game and lacks any kind of originality to the whole thing. You are just copying the barbie concept from the actual barbies that you can physically touch and hold and you are just placing it on the app store so that you can gain a few more bucks by trying to get people to play every single time that they want a different set of clothes by using their real money in order to buy the new clothes or the new set of clothes that they can wear. It’s not original and it just isn’t right for this kind of game which is an already overused concept of dressing clothes on some people while being able to take pictures of them. There are plenty more games that have these kinds of clothes available but are free instad of cost additional money in order to get new clothes.
General Gameplay
I would give Barbie Magical Fashion a 0/10. There is literally no gameplay within Barbie Magical Fashion. There is nothing to play except just putting some make-up on your barbie, dressing her up, taking a couple of pictures of her for safe keeping. This game provides nothing except a couple of chests to keep you interested in getting new clothes from those dresses in order to make players happier. This lack of any kind of substance to a game truly makes it a dull game and really makes the game lack in terms of the amount of fun that you can have. If my audience who is reading this is either parents of children who want to download this game or tens who are looking for a new game, I would say that you should go ahead and let your child play it or play it yourself to see how little gameplay there is in this game.
I give it a zero because it is nothing except a little dress up without any way to earn additional clothes besides relying on a bit of luck in order to get some additional dresses in order to keep you busy in the lack of mini games to play in Barbie Magical Fashion. I don’t understand why they couldn’t add some kind of mini game that you could play with the animal that you pose with so that you could have a bit of fun with your character even after you take a couple of pictures with the animal. I think that it would make the game more fun for everybody and make it so that the game is something which can be grown upon by making it possibly competitive between players for a certain mini game so that more players stick to the game because they want to be the best at that mini game and then earn their way to getting the best clothes. You can’t drag players into this game just because you have the Barbie brand as your basis, you have to have something that will keep players attached to the game. It is disappointing that a game would lack so much gameplay when it has so much potential to be a good and fun game for all.
Addictiveness
I would give Barbie Magical Fashion a 3/10. I don’t really see how this game can be addicting for anyone except maybe a couple of girls under the age to be knowledgeable that the game has absolutely nothing happening. After you get all of your free clothes, there is absolutely nothing to do in the game. Everything is purchased and you can’t do anything in order to earn those clothes. So basically, you are just taking a couple of pictures and saving them while watching the, I will admit, stunning graphics, until you get bored out of your mind and switch to another game. There is no kind of mini game to take time up and there is nothing happening in the game. It is like watching golf where the person is just constantly switching out what club that they should use without actually swinging a bat. It’s like he’s posing for a picture and never actually doing anything after that. So other than the random gift boxes that you might get where you get different clothes, I really don’t see the appeal of this game because it lacks any substance to keep you interested in the game and it also lacks the clothes that you might want to try out without having to spend money.
Overall Rating
Overall, I would give Barbie Magical Fashion a 3/10 because it does have amazing graphics which will really grab everyone’s attention regardless of whether you are even interested in barbies or not.
