Imagine taking care of lots of cute baby eggs, feeding them, cleaning them and keeping them healthy and happy. Once they are grown up, they will hatch and a beautiful and cute creature will pop out of it. This is what Egg Baby is all about. Egg Baby has been developed and successfully released by game developer Nix Hydra, and is quite popular among many mobile gamers. The game has been downloaded over one million times with an astonishing rating of 4.4 out of 5 on Google Play Store and a 4.5 out of 5 star rating on iOS App Store. Egg Baby is free to download and play on both Android and iOS devices, and does not require an internet connection to play.
You could compare Egg Baby to those old Tamagotchi devices, which were really popular in the nineties. Your goal in Egg Baby is to purchase different eggs and take care of them until they hatch, but it is not as easy as it sounds. The eggs need a lot of care and maintenance. You need to feed them, clean them and entertain them, in order to keep them happy and healthy. Your eggs respond to everything that you do. You can tickle them, but if you tickle them too much, they will get annoyed. Each egg in Egg Baby has three attributes, which you really need to pay attention to. The three attributes are Sleep, Happiness and Hunger. You will need to watch these attributes and keep them green, if you want your egg to be happy and healthy.
According to your egg’s status and attributes, you can decide what you have to do next for your egg. If your egg is becoming sleepy, you can put it to bed, which will make it rested. If your egg is unhappy, you have to tickle it and bring its happiness level up. After its happiness level is on green, you can play three different mini-games with it. If its hunger level is high, you can feed it many different food items, and bring its hunger level down again. Your egg also gets dirty, which means that you need to clean it and keep it healthy. All of these actions require you to have items ready in your inventory. For example, in order to feed your egg, you have a wide variety of food items available for purchase. You can purchase items with gold coins. Depending on how happy your egg is, it will constantly drop gold coins, which you can collect.
Egg Baby has two features implemented in it which are called the Challenges and Badges. You can complete challenges and collect badges, in order to receive large amounts of gold coins or other items. You only have a certain amount of time to complete a challenge, and you can only take on another challenge once you finish the current one. Challenges at the beginning of the gameplay usually entail that you have to feed your egg a certain type of food, or give it a certain amount of attention. Once you complete a challenge, you will usually earn hundreds of gold coins and other items that you can then use on your eggs.
Badges do not have a timeframe, which means that you can take your time, if you want to collect them. You can earn badges for having a certain amount of gold coins or eggs, but they also get significantly more difficult, the more you progress through the game. Collecting a badge will also reward you with either an amount of gold coins or rare items.
Egg Baby In-game store
There is only one kind of currency in Egg Baby, which is in the form of gold coins. You can easily obtain gold coins by playing the game, taking care of your eggs and hatching them. Once they are hatched, they will provide you with a steady source of gold coins, but you will have to visit your yard and collect them manually. You can use gold coins for a lot of things in Egg Baby. For starters, you can purchase new eggs and take care of them. There are a lot of eggs to choose from, and the rarer the egg is, the more gold coins it costs. You can purchase gold coins with real money, if you wish to do so. The price for gold coins starts at $1,99 for the smallest amount of 100.000 gold coins and goes up till $49,99 for the largest amount of 5.000.000 gold coins. You can also earn 10.000 gold coins by writing a review about Egg Baby on the app stores.
There are several different packs for sale in the in-game store. You can purchase expansion-packs, which add lots of new items and eggs to the game. The first expansion-pack is called the Haunted House and costs $19,99. The second expansion-pack is called Enchanted Castle and costs $29,99. There is also an egg package called Egg Super Pack, which will give you a lot of different kinds of eggs. The Egg Super Pack costs $19,99. There is also an Holiday Pack and Halloween Pack, which both will give you themed items and cost $2,99. The last package is called the Thanksgiving Pack, which has items in it with the thanksgiving theme, and costs $1,99.
If you are inpatient, or you simply do not want to take care of an egg, you can purchase an item called “Super Ultra Insta-Hatch!” which basically hatches the egg instantly. This item costs $0,99 and can only be used on one egg only. Purchasing the “Super Ultra Insta-Hatch!” item will also remove all the advertisements in the game.

There are many websites on the internet that claim they have working cheat tools for Egg Baby, which could allegedly modify the game files on your device, and allow you to give yourself an unlimited amount of gold coins. Of course, many if not all of the promises that these websites make are nothing but lies. The developers of these websites are only out to scam unknowing people by making them fill in surveys, before they can start downloading said cheat tools. Naturally, there are no cheat tools, and what you will be downloading is either an empty shell, or worse, a nasty virus.
The fake cheat websites are designed just to make money off of people, and they are doing a bang up job at it. After you have filled in a survey and downloaded the files, you will quickly find out that you have been duped. Instead of wasting your time, trying to find cheats for Egg Baby and possibly download a nasty virus onto your computer, I will give you some tips and tricks that will help you with your gameplay.
Egg Baby Gameplay Tips and Tricks
It is very important to take good care of your eggs in Egg Baby. If you keep your eggs happy and healthy, you will receive more gold coins, which you can then use to purchase better items and better eggs. If you keep repeating this progress, you will be able to purchase rare eggs, which are really expensive. I would suggest hatching as many eggs as possible, because the creatures inside the eggs will also generate gold coins for yourself.
There are a lot of advertisements in Egg Baby, and the developers give you an opportunity to remove them by purchasing items in the in-game store. Of course, not every player wants to, or can spend money on a free-to-play game. This does not mean that you have to endure advertisements while you play Egg Baby. Before you start up the game, you should put your mobile device on airplane mode. This disables all advertisements in the game, because they need an internet connection to be shown. Once you are done playing Egg Baby, you can simply turn airplane mode off, and use your mobile device how you have been before.
Before I started playing Egg Baby, I had no idea what the game would be about. I read up about it and looked at the screenshots, and it really looked like a game that I would not enjoy. After playing Egg Baby for a while, I was really fascinated how I got hooked up to the game, even though it is entirely not a game that I would normally enjoy. I really like the graphics of the game, which looks cartoonish and really fits the gameplay itself. What I also really like is the fact that there are so many animations in the game, which really makes the game feel alive and exciting. There are a lot of things happening on the screen when you are taking care of eggs, which really enhances the gameplay. Thankfully, the user interface is clear and you will not be disturbed by all the events on the screen. A very positive aspect about Egg Baby is that there are also many sound effects, which makes the gameplay very enjoyable.
Unfortunately, there are also several negative aspects about Egg Baby. For starters, a lot of items in the game are very expensive. This makes it feel like the developers are trying to push people into purchasing gold coins, so that they can purchase more in-game items. It seems to be a trend lately, and a lot of mobile gamers dislike this. It makes Egg Baby feel like a cheap cash grab, especially since there are similar games (with less features) that do not require you to spend any money on the game. There are also expansion-packs available in the in-game store, which have a ridiculous price tag. In my opinion, no free-to-play game should have expansion-packs that cost $19,99 or $29,99. The developers cannot expect players to pay such a price, especially for a mobile game. Players are just looking for a fun mobile game to play, for as cheap as possible, free if possible.
The second negative aspect about Egg Baby is that the developers have implemented a lot of advertisements in the game. It is understandable that developers of free-to-play games implement advertisements into their games because they need to earn an income for their time and effort, but they should always think about how they place the ads. There are a lot of annoying pop-up advertisements in Egg Baby that show up at random times. It makes it really feel like the developers are trying to trick people into tapping on the advertisements, so that they can earn some ad revenue. This also makes Egg Baby feel like a cheap cash grab, because having such annoying advertisements is really a big turn off from the game. If the developers want to keep their loyal players, they should really look into changing how they place ads.
Egg Baby Ratings
Artwork: I give Egg Baby an 8/10 for its artwork. I really liked the graphics in Egg Baby, even if they were cartoonish and meant for younger children. The developers have done a very good job in capturing the right facial expressions, reactions and animations of the eggs themselves. This way you can tell the mood and status of your egg, without even looking at its attributes. I really like the fact that there are so many different animations and special effects in Egg Baby, which really makes the gameplay entertaining and feel alive. The developers did a good job combining both the graphics and the animations together, making them fit perfectly.
Music & SFX: I give Egg Baby an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There are several different soundtracks and many different sound effects in Egg Baby, which are very nice and enhance the gameplay. The soundtracks range from main menu music to gameplay music and loading-time music. I really like the fact that there are several different gameplay music, which changes when you switch from locations. Having so many sound effects really helps to keep the gameplay entertaining, because I could imagine that without SFX, the gameplay would be boring. Both the soundtracks and sound effects are easy on the ears and will not easily bother or bore anyone.
Story & Originality: I give Egg Baby an 8/10 for its story and originality. There are a lot of games similar to Egg Baby on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store, but I believe that Egg Baby is still original, due to the developers going to extra mile with the game. The developers have implemented features into the game that I have never seen before, which is very exciting and refreshing. Normally, I would not take a second look at a game like Egg Baby, because it is simply not interesting for me to take care of cute eggs, but with Egg Baby it was different. Even before I started reviewing this game, I took good care of my eggs and even made several of them hatch. There is no backstory in Egg Baby, but a game like this does not need one in my opinion. Players can use their own imagination and make up a story as they play Egg Baby.
General Gameplay: I give Egg Baby an 8/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in Egg Baby starts with a nicely build tutorial, showing you how to properly play the game, how to take care of your eggs, how to feed them, bath them and hatch them. The tutorial ends after you have hatched an egg, after which you can start playing Egg Baby however you want to. After the tutorial ends, the gameplay becomes pretty straightforward, but fortunately there are a lot of features in Egg Baby that will keep you entertained for a long time. I really like the fact that the controls are responsive and adjustable in the settings and that the user interface is crisp and clear. This makes it easy to navigate through the game, and to find the things you want to.
Addictiveness: I give Egg Baby a 7/10 for addictiveness. Even though Egg Baby is not the type of game I enjoy playing, I still spend several hours playing it due to it being very addictive. There are a ton of features to explore and a ton of eggs to take care of. Unfortunately, there were also several things that bothered me a brought the addictiveness level down. There are many advertisements in the game, and you need to pay up to $29,99, just to unlock more content for the game. This is a ridiculous amount of money, especially for a mobile game.
All things considered, I give Egg Baby an 8/10.
