I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that the gameplay in Head Soccer is nothing like any other football or sports game I have ever played, which made the gameplay very entertaining and exciting for me. I really like the graphics of the game, which remind me of anime, due to the fact that the characters have big heads and big anime-like eyes. There are several very nice soundtracks in Head Soccer as well, but the thing I liked the most about the game is the fact that there are many sound effects.

A very positive aspect about Head Soccer is that the developers did not implement any advertisements into the game. Normally, it is understandable when free-to-play games have advertisements in them, due to the fact that the developers need to earn some money for the time and effort they have put into developing their games. There are a lot of animations and special effects in Head Soccer as well, which enhances the gameplay. Another thing I really like about the graphics of Head Soccer is the fact that there are so many different characters, game modes, environments, level designs and special moves. This tells me that the developers have taken their time when it came to developing and designing the graphics and animations of the game.  

Music & SFX: I give Head Soccer an 8/10 for its music and SFX. There are several soundtracks and sound effects in Head Soccer, which are of decent quality and really fit the overall sports / football / anime theme of the game. I really like the fact that the soundtracks change, depending on if you are at the main menu or in a match. The sound effects in Head Soccer range from scoring a goal SFX to menu button SFX and really enhance the overall gameplay. The developers did a very good job at combining the graphics and animations with the soundtracks and sound effects of the game, making them easy on the ears and entertaining to listen to.

Story & Originality: I give Head Soccer a 9/10 for its story and originality. I have played several sports and football related games lately, but I can easily tell you that Head Soccer is the most unique and original one out of the bunch. The game is very popular on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store and with good reason. I really like the fact that the developers have chosen to take a different approach when it came to the gameplay and graphics of the game. It is very nice to see that there are many different game modes in Head Soccer, showing me that the developers have used their own creative ideas and game mechanics. There is no real backstory in Head Soccer, however, I feel like a sports / football game does not need a story anyways.

General Gameplay: I give Head Soccer an 8/10 for general gameplay. The gameplay in Head Soccer does not start with a tutorial, which would have been nice. However, it is very easy to get used to the gameplay and learn how to play the different game modes. The gameplay becomes pretty straightforward after a while, but still very entertaining and exciting due to all the different game modes, upgrades and costumes in the game. The controls are very smooth and responsive, which is very important for a game where you can easily concede goals. The user interface fits the overall theme and makes it very easy to navigate through the game.

Addictiveness: I give Head Soccer a 9/10 for addictiveness. It is very refreshing to see that there are still developers out there that do not implement any kind of advertisements or playtime limitations into their games. Head Soccer is one of those games which you can play whenever you want and for however long you want, without getting annoyed or obstructed by any kind of advertisements. The addictiveness also gets enhanced by all of the different kinds of single player game modes and the online game mode. The gameplay is pretty difficult at times, which is nice for players who enjoy being challenged while they are playing a mobile game.
