There is a build-in chat system in Planet of Cubes Online, which allows you to communicate with other players around the world. If you have chosen to play Planet of Cubes Online using your Facebook account, you will be able to invite your friends and allow them to spawn at your location in the world. This means that you will be able to play together with your friends, instead of random players around the world.
Planet of Cubes Online uses a system called TTL, which stands for Time To Live. Each change you make has a certain lifetime in Planet of Cubes Online. For example, if you break certain buildings, they will be fixed again, after a certain amount of time. The TTL depends on how far you have traveled from your spawning point. You are able to see how long the changes you have made will last, by looking at the hourglass on the top of the screen. This also means that any buildings you have constructed, will eventually be gone again.
Planet of Cubes Online is not really a game where you are supposed to spend a lot of time on creating things. It is designed for players to explore the world together and to find hidden secrets. Planet of Cubes Online is more of an adventure game, which is nice for players who enjoy playing Minecraft, but also like to explore the world, instead of building things. Planet of Cubes Online also does not have any hidden fees, which means that you can play the game for free on Android devices, and by paying $0,99 on iOS devices.
Planet of Cubes Online In-game store
Planet of Cubes Online does not have any in-game currencies or an in-game store, which means that you cannot, or do not have to spend any money on it. Planet of Cubes Online is free to download and play on Android devices, however, you will have to pay $0,99 if you want to play the game on iOS devices. There are a lot of annoying and obstructive advertisements in Planet of Cubes Online, but the developers do not give you an option to remove them, not even by paying money for it.
There are only a few websites that offer some sort of a cheat tool, hack tool or mod for Planet of Cubes Online, allegedly allowing you to remove the advertisements in the game. The reason why there are almost no websites that offer cheat tools for Planet of Cubes Online, is because of the fact that the game does not have in-game currencies or even an in-game store. This means that people will not be looking to find cheats for the game, and the websites that offer fake cheat tools know this. The fake cheat tool websites only offer cheat tools for very popular mobile games, which also happen to have in-game currencies. This way, they guarantee themselves of a lot of visitors, who are also willing to fill in a survey, just to be able to get their hands on a working cheat tool.
What the owners of those fake cheat tool websites do not tell you is that the cheat tools do not actually work, and they are only out to earn money off of you, by making you fill in a survey. Each survey that gets filled in, generates an income for the owners of those websites. Once you have filled in a survey and downloaded the so called cheat tool, you will quickly find out that you have been duped, and that the files you just downloaded are nothing but empty shells, or even worse, they are some nasty viruses. Instead of wasting your time and potentially risking your computer with a virus infection, I will give you some tips and tricks for Planet of Cubes Online, which will help you with your gameplay.
Planet of Cubes Online Gameplay Tips and Tricks
If you want to bring out the maximum amount of enjoyment out of Planet of Cubes Online, you should definitely consider logging in with your Facebook account. This way, you will be able to invite your friends to play Planet of Cubes Online, and you will also be able to spawn on the same spawn point. Exploring the world of Planet of Cubes Online is much more exciting and entertaining, if you are actually able to communicate with each other. This is very difficult when you play with random players around the world, because there are a lot of Russian and Chinese players. They usually write in their own native language, and if you do not understand those languages, you will have a very difficult time communicating with each other.
Planet of Cubes Online uses a system called TTL, which means that you have a certain amount of time, before the changes you have made will be fixed. For example, if you construct a building using your blocks, that building will disappear after the TTL timer runs out. If you enjoy constructing or destroying buildings in Planet of Cubes Online, you should consider traveling as far as possible from your spawn point. The further you are from your spawn point, the longer the TTL timer will last. This will allow you to have at least several hours, before your timer runs out, and all of the changes you have made to the world map, will be fixed.
If you want to travel large distances in Planet of Cubes Online, you should really consider using the Fly Mode. The Fly Mode allows your character to fly around, instead of walking around. This way, you can just fly over buildings and water, allowing you to travel much faster. By saving time, you will also be able to spend more time constructing or destroying things, before your TTL timer runs out.
Before I started playing Planet of Cubes Online, I had already heard about it from my friends. They said that it is a fun game, and that it really looks like Minecraft, so I gave it an unbiased go. Once I started playing Planet of Cubes Online, I noticed that the world map is absolutely gigantic, which is a very nice thing for players that enjoy exploring the map. Planet of Cubes Online is not designed to be a regular Minecraft copy, because whatever you construct or break in the world map, will be fixed after a certain amount of time. The graphics really remind me of Minecraft, which says a lot about how far mobile gaming has come. The game does not have any soundtracks, and only a few sound effects, but in my opinion, it is better like this. You will be able to concentrate more on the gameplay, and put on your own music, if you wish to do so.
Even though Planet of Cubes Online is an entertaining game to play, it also has several negative aspects. For starters, the developers of Planet of Cubes Online have littered the game with advertisements, which come in the form of banners and pop-ups. The banner advertisements are pretty big, and they basically block your view, while you are playing Planet of Cubes Online. The pop-up advertisements show up randomly, and you either have to wait five seconds to be able to close them, or you have to watch a small video, before you are able to continue playing. Both the banner and pop-up advertisements are very annoying and obstructive, and they turned me off from the game itself. It is understandable when popular mobile games have advertisements in them, but the developers should always think about proper ad-placement.
It does not seem like the developers really care about the fact that they are annoying and obstructing the players, and they do not give the option to remove the advertisements, not even by paying for it. This makes Planet of Cubes Online feel like a cheap cash grab, which is very unfortunate, especially because it is a pretty popular mobile game.
The second negative aspect about Planet of Cubes Online is that there are too many objects on the screen, which blocks players from being able to properly play the game. The control buttons are on the left and right side of the screen, but they are gigantic, which means that they are already filling up almost the half of my Samsung S5 screen. On top of that, there are objects on the top left and right, showing the in-game chat and a huge banner advertisement. If a lot of people write at the same time, you basically cannot see anything anymore. The developers should think about implementing smaller buttons, and completely remove the huge banner advertisement, allowing people to be able to properly see the screen.
Planet of Cubes Online Ratings
Artwork: I give Planet of Cubes Online an 8/10 for its artwork. The graphics in Planet of Cubes Online are pretty decent, and similar to Minecraft, which is very nice. I really like the fact that the gameplay feels familiar, due to the graphics being similar with Minecraft. This attracts a lot of players in 2016, and the figures really shows this. Planet of Cubes Online has been downloaded over ten million times on Google Play Store alone. The world map in Planet of Cubes Online is absolutely gigantic, which tells me that the developers have spent a lot of time designing it. It is nice to see that there are a lot of different skins to choose from as well. The animations in Planet of Cubes Online are pretty basic, but they get the job done.
Music & SFX: I give Planet of Cubes Online a 6/10 for its music and SFX. There are no soundtracks in Planet of Cubes Online, which is not a very big problem in my opinion. I could hear only a couple of sound effects, such as when you wiggle with your arm, when you break a block or when you place a block. The sound effects are easy on the ears, and they fit the overall theme of the game pretty well. Just like the graphics of Planet of Cubes Online, the sound effects are also similar to Minecraft, which is nice for people who enjoy playing that game.
Story & Originality: I give Planet of Cubes Online a 7/10 for its story and originality. There are a lot of games just like Planet of Cubes Online, available on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store. All of those games are copies of Minecraft, which is very popular on PC, MAC, Consoles and even one mobile devices. Of course, a lot of developers want to design a game that is similar to Minecraft, just so that they can ride along the popularity of it. I am happy to see that Planet of Cubes Online is a bit different though. In Planet of Cubes Online, it is not about creating and destroying blocks and buildings. It is more about exploring a gigantic world, together with your friends, having fun, and chatting with each other. There is no story behind Planet of Cubes Online, but a game like this does not need one, in my opinion.
General Gameplay: I give Planet of Cubes Online a 6/10 for general gameplay. Planet of Cubes Online does not have a tutorial at the beginning of the gameplay, but luckily it is very easy to get used to the game anyways. What is really unfortunate is the fact that it seems like many players do not know what the idea behind Planet of Cubes Online is, which means that you will find a lot of casual players from around the world, who will write in other languages. The language barrier in Planet of Cubes Online basically ruins the gameplay. Perhaps it would have been better if there were different servers, for different regions of the world, so players would be able to play with people who speak the same language. The fact that the user interface is cluttered, also ruins the gameplay. Luckily, the controls are smooth and responsive.
Addictiveness: I give Planet of Cubes Online a 7/10 for addictiveness. It is very refreshing to see that there are still developers out there that do not implement any kind of playtime limitations into their games. Unfortunately, the developers of Planet of Cubes Online have implemented a lot of annoying and obstructive advertisements into the game. The addictiveness would have been much higher, if the developers gave the players the option to remove the advertisements.
All things considered, I give Planet of Cubes Online a 7/10.
