August 2015 may have offered up the widest variety of action games yet. Each of our recent favorites makes an appearance on this list and they each target all types of specific gamers’ interests. There’s even a game on here where you make a lil’ boy travel by having him get blasted from rocket barrels. Then we have some other picks that let you do one of these awesome activities – hop into the world of DC as LEGO superheroes, shoot down “celebrities,” take control of a speedy ninja and survive against failed experiments. Here’s the top five new android action games for the last month of the summer!

1. Bullet Boy

Bullet Boy’s premise is simple – you take control of a hero who’s constantly searching for and collecting ancient statue artifacts. All the while, he has to stay ahead of a dangerous tornado. How does he do it? By constantly getting propelled from rocket cannons. If you mastered the barrel portions of any stage in the side-scrolling Donkey Kong Country games, you’ll know what to expect here. The stages in this action platformer presents all types of fresh challenges, which keeps all that rocket blasting action from getting stale. Bullet Boy is a ton of fun.
