Since Monster Life was launched on August 2nd on Google Play, I kept playing Gameloft’s new title trying to become better and better at it. And if you tried playing this game you probably know already how difficult this is and how complex the game can be – and this is the reason why I have decided to create this article and share with you some pretty basic (I think) Monster Life tips & tricks that will hopefully help you better understand the game and develop a better strategy – a winning strategy in Monster Life!
I am sure that this guide is by no means complete and this is the reason why I want you to share your thoughts in the comment section below with valuable advice for other Monster Life players!

1. Learn your monsters and their abilities and know what they’re good at! Until I create a list of the Monster Life monsters with all their stats and details, you should pay a lot of attention to them. Knowing your monsters, especially their strong points and weaknesses is the key to victory! The general rule here is the “rock, paper, scissors” scheme, meaning that Fire is good against Earth, Earth against Water, Water against Fire.
2. Pay attention to your ranch. Money comes from building your ranch so make sure you have all the money making buildings lined up and ready to produce you some valuable coins.
3. Earn free Crystals! You can receive 1 free crystal simply from watching some videos about other games. Make sure you watch them before this hot deal expires and get as many crystals as possible. Premium currency is tough to be earned otherwise than spending real money and every opportunity should be taken!
4. Invest in Habitats and Boosters
These two types of buildings that can be purchased from the market offer you XP bonuses which in return mean better monsters to fight for you. So make sure that you invest in them early on to gain an advantage over your competitors!
5. Don’t focus on a single type of monster. Although many similar games are better played when you specialize in one type of monster, in Monster Life things are different. So make sure that you have top monsters from each category to be ready to face any opponent.
6. Need more quick coins? You can replay stages that you have already won for extra money. And you surely know that you can win those fights!
7. Add friends! Friend stones are very important in Monster Life: they offer bonuses during the fights and can be used to expand your land. So the more active friends you have, the better your stocks of friend stones!
8. Don’t forget about your free daily prize? Ring the bell and earn a random freebie each day!
9. Be patient. Being more social in nature than anything, Monster Life is a game that requires time to play and you shouldn’t try to rush things too much: there’s no point in doing that and you will still get there sooner or later. So keep these tips in mind and work your way to the top!
