Dead Trigger Tips and Tricks

If your struggling to get through Dead Trigger right now, here are a few tips and tricks for you to create a perfect strategy for the game!

Making Gold
The easiest way to make gold and earn it, is to reset the date on your clock, then restart the game, play to get the gold then close and shutdown the game and repeat. This will get you constant access to the casino. We are okay with using this cheat until Madfinger gets the Bank sorted out.

Making money
Making money can be quite a slow task on here but not a difficult one. Camping is not cool but has a purpose. Open up the stadium of the dead every day and camp in the nook just beside the power-up, it’s the only place in the arena where nothing can get behind you. Slowtime and Mines will keep you out of trouble. Top up your first aid every level up you need to and use the bandages only when you need to. You should find level 15-20 easy with a little practice and start making a good few thousand in no time.

Weapons
- It doesn’t matter how many weapons you have there is always an appropriate number of ammo refills dropped to keep going, but if your cornered and the ammo is behind the evil dead then it help to have another option.
- The ak47 is one of the better choices upgradable to Damage 600, the range is good and the destruction decent, but the last upgrade cannot be opened until you reach rank 28. My next favourite weapon is the Bren, equally strong and upgrades just after the AK.

Items
- I still prefer using bandages over first aid Kits, they are cheaper and do a decent enough job of healing.
- Second most useful item is probably the slow time, once you unlock this, those few seconds can kill the swat guy, the green goo spitting fat boss, or get you out of a lot of trouble.
- Grenades and bait grenades don’t really hurt the big guns but can take out the little guys easily enough. The mines however will take out the swat guys, but it takes a few to kill the boss guys. They make a great back up when you run out of slow times.

Health
It’s important that you try to upgrade your health as soon as possible. Now, is it worth saving up all that gold during the game for the upgrade, probably not, you can happily charge your way through with clever use of items and weapons without it for a while. The best time to upgrade is before the LAB level or after it, as long as your weapons are all tip top shape.

Controls
If you find yourself accidentally reloading at bad times, move the reload button to the top corner just under and to the right of the weapon panel. It’s handier, and keeps you loading only when you need to. But reload every time you get the chance none the less.

Game progress
If you have rooted your phone and use Es explorer set to root level, copy your XMLpref (/data/data/com.madfingergames.deadtrigger/shared_prefs/com.madfingergames.deadtrigger.xml) file to a new folder in documents each time you buy expensive things. You can save up a metric ton of money and play around with weapon choices and item choices. the turrets, and laser cutters are a lot of fun. If you find something you don’t like, replace the new XML file with the one you backed up.

Killing spree
- Line up your enemies so all you need do is strafe slightly to hit the next one, and so on.
- Keep a very close eye on the radar. The running chick and guy in the stadium of the dead can get close real fast.
- Never reload unless you have checked the radar and the space is clear and you have room to back off from the runners.
- Place turrets in out of the way places to save it’s ammunition until your overwhelmed then make your way towards it to clean up the trash.
- The lupara seems expensive early on but when it’s unlocked the gold isn’t that much, it’s a real good killer but only has two shells. so use it wisely.
