So, you embarked on the quest of saving human race in Global Outbreak but find that it’s pretty difficult to handle all those zombie hordes that infect a city after another? Of course, we’re not talking about old school cheats – since we don’t encourage that, but knowing the stuff I’m going to share with you will certainly improve your game and humanity’s survival chances.

1. Use your grenades wisely – they can’t be replenished by finding them during the missions and the only way to get more after you finish them is to spend premium currency.
2. In need of some extra money? You can sell Turrets and Outposts if you no longer need them!
3. After getting don with your mission objective, keep exploring the areas if you have ammo left – there might be some nice pick-ups that you have missed and could really use!
4. Is the zombie horde too big and challenging for your team? It’s better to get out early than let your team killed!
5. If an infection is getting too strong, you can weaken it by “cutting” the links it has with other pods. But remember that you have to destroy the “mother” in order to cut the links to the other pods and have them die automatically.
6. The infections start to spread all over the world? It is cheaper to build turrets than to handle multiple squads and less time consuming!
7. Make sure to get your helicopters back to the base for a refuel, or you’ll find yourself without fuel in mid-air and you will have to pay premium currency for fuel! Also, while you’re at the base, your soldiers will heal automatically.
8. While in the mission, fighting zombies, try to keep moving all the time. If you keep your team in one spot, the zombies will reach you and kill you.
9. Try to always have combos: you get more XP for more zombies killed in a row. So swipe over as many as possible and wait for the team to work their magic.
10. You can change the weapon used by the soldier by tapping the icon in the lower left corner. Have in mind, though, that this doesn’t change the preferred weapon of all your soldiers – you have to select the weapon for each one individually, and you can change the active soldier by tapping their name in the upper part of the screen.
11. When you find ammo pick-up, it’s better to get it with the machine gun selected, otherwise you will get pistol ammo which is not as useful since pistols have a slower fire rate and do less damage.
12. Try to get as many research points and spend them on weapons as soon as you get them. For each research to complete, you must wait 1 minute and you can’t start a new research on the same weapon until the previous one is completed. My advice would be to focus on the automatic weapon first and only upgrade the pistol when you have the second level pistol unlocked.
13. Also upgrading soldiers is pretty important and you can go through different paths. Armor would be the first thing I’d improve to make sure that they last longer – one dead soldier is an useless soldier (duuuh!) You can also try and specialize them: make a heavy that stays forward and takes damage, and a sharpshooter that provides lethal shots from behind. However, it’s difficult to have such a deep strategy during the game…
14. Finally, you an cheat a little bit in Global Outbreak by purchasing premium gold bars. These offer you the edge and at one point or another, you might find yourself forced to spend a few of them.
