Penguin Run Cheats: Tips & Strategy for a Longer Run

I have just published the Penguin Run review here on Android Entity, telling you just how fun this endless runner is and I have decided to share with you some of my experience when it comes to playing the game and help you cheat at the game, if you wish, by sharing with you some really useful Penguin Run Tips that will help improve your strategy and help you get the most out of the game. And, of course, be closer than ever to that perfect run!

Of course, just like all endless runners, Penguin Run is mostly about your reflexes and how quick you are to react and with that I can’t help you that much. But for the other little tricks, check out below the Penguin Run tips for a better strategy and have fun!

1. Jump around
Imagine that you’re listening to Kriss Kross and keep jumping – I have noticed that this is the best strategy to follow when it comes to getting past those holes in the ground. And I’m not talking about the obvious middle ones that you MUST jump over, but those on the sides: rather than tilting left and right and risking a lot, a jump will get you over them easily. You can also jump over many of the obstacles you can slide under, so jump!

2. Stick to the middle of the road
Unless you are in a part filled with traps and holes, the best strategy to take is to stick to the middle. This way it will be easier for you to move left and right to avoid an obstacle or more.

3. Be careful with the power-ups
Usually, the power-ups that you can collect during your run are placed in some very tricky areas and you might end up with a game over on your side if you insist on collecting them. Balance risk and reward and only go for those power-ups that you are sure you can get and avoid the rest. Exception: the rocket, which takes you over and through obstacles, as well as the ghost that only works on signs and similar.

4. What power-ups to upgrade?
The Flying boost and the Invisibility (ghost) are the obvious choices to focus on here because they allow you to run longer without risking to lose your life. The 2x coins should be upgraded next and the magnet and bonus coins later – there’s really no real need for them.

5. Resurrect
This is the most important “Utility” that you can purchase: it costs 1,000 coins and you can get it in the store (it’s under the power-ups) but it can help you reach that impressive run that you always wanted. Just make sure you get it and use it when you are pretty familiar with the game to make it worthwhile, otherwise it’s too expensive for just one use.

6. Character Upgrades
These are really important as they aid you get further, faster. Unlike other games that give you upgrades just temporarily, these stick with you all the time and offer huge advantages by basically allowing you to do a mistake and go unnoticed. Really useful so you might even get them before upgrading the power-ups!

7. Be patient
In the end, this is what it’s all about: patience and perseverance. Keep going, keep trying, keep doing it and you will eventually make it!
