About Paradise City
Paradise City has the area of 26 square miles and 218 miles of roads. It is divided in 5 districts: 3 urban (Harbor Town, Downtown Paradise and Palm Bay Heights) and 2 rural (Silver Lake and White Mountain). The traffic depends on actual time of day and the weather changes dynamically - e.g. from sunny to foggy.
Licenses
The better the driver is in Paradise City, the higher license he obtains. To advance to higher levels, you need to win in various events:

The citizens of Paradise City love cars and bikes, so there are many interesting vehicles on the streets. You can drive 78 types of cars and ride 4 types of bikes. The cars can be FWD (front wheel drive), RWD (rear wheel drive) or AWD (all wheel drive). There are three types of boost in cars:
At the beginning of the game you have access to very limited range of vehicles, but you can unlock more in time. To do so, you need to win in events, perform super jumps, destroy billboards, find smashes, set time and showtime road rules and complete Freeburn challenges.

There are 35 drive throughs in Paradise City. You can visit junkyards (to change vehicle), gas stations (to refill boost), auto repairs (to repair damaged vehicle) and paint shops (to instantly change paint job). There is always 1 junkyard and 1 paint shop in every district. The amount of gas stations and auto repairs can be different (from 2 to 3). To use a drive through you need to find it first - i.e. approach its location and literally drive through it. In addition there are car parks in 3 districts (Harbor Town, Downtown Paradise and Palm Bay Heights). The maps in this guide contain following marks:

Every driver in Paradise City can compete in various events. There are 120 in total and to begin one of them you should stop at the starting point, pressing brake and accelerating at the same time. Types of events:

The bikers have access to special types of events. All are available at start and marked on in-game map, so there is no need to ride around and find them. To compete in an event you should stop at the starting point, pressing brake and accelerating at the same time. There are 38 events in total - half of them are Burning Rides, available from 8:00 to 20:00. The rest are Midnight Rides, available from 20:00 to 8:00. Both types are time attack races.
There are special places in Paradise City, marked with blue-white cones. In that kind of places you can perform super jumps - there are 50 in total (10 in each district). A super jump is completed, when the landing is correct. So driving fast and using boost is highly recommended. Obtaining all of the super jumps unlocks bonus car (Jansen Carbon X12).

There are not only typical roads in Paradise City. Advanced players are using various shortcuts, marked by special yellow signs "Private property - keep out". Driving into that kind of a sign results in a smash. There are 400 smashes in total - from 50 to 90 in each district. Obtaining all of the smashes unlocks bonus car (Carson Carbon GT Concept).
