Why are video games bad for your health
Video games can be bad for your health when played in excess. They are often blamed for causing obesity, repetitive motion injuries, et cetera.

However, all problems can be prevented by moderating the time spent playing games.

Obesity is only caused in extreme cases when play interferes with the player's real life, and discourages them from exercising or doing other activities. By reducing the time spent playing video games and making sure many activities are available for the player that support healthy living, obesity can be prevented.

Most other problems blamed on video games can be prevented simply by examining the situation and adjusting the time spent playing and games played.
