What is the Pandora battery used for in the PSP

The Pandora battery enables you to hack your games. How this works you ask? In the normal battery, there is a pin inside the battery, but in the Pandora battery, they take that pin out which instead of taking power from the battery, it takes it from the memory stick which has your hacking program. The programs you can get are "NitePR" and "CodePR". You can find these both on a search on Google.
