How do you make Medieval II Total War run faster

There are several things. 1. you can get a better video card with more memory and that's faster. 2. You can have a bigger hard drive, the more hard drive space, the faster your system goes. 3. You can get a better CPU, say 2.2 or higher. 4. You can have more memory (RAM to be exact) which'll also make it faster. I hope this is most helpful.
