How do you defeat a khezu in monster hunter freedom unite

first your armor should have good defense with high thunder resistance recommended armors- gypceros, conga, genprey. now weapons use a fire weapon or just good raw attack. it is also very good to pierce gun a khezu cause it almost has no range attacks but it might be challenging when u havent beat it yet
