How do you switch your guys in Lord of the Rings the third age

To switch characters in battle: press L1, scroll to the charcter you want, and then press X to sub that charcter in for the charcter you were controlling when you pressed L1.

To switch characters while walking around: press L1 and select the new charcter that you want to walk around with.
