Is it illegal to download a video game that you own but you lost

It is illegal if you don't have proof of having the disc, for example if you were to download NHL 09 for the PC you are supposed to have the original disc. You also cannot redistribute the game when downloading it because it violates copyright laws.






Absolutely, just because you bought from the store and lost it doesn`t mean you should get it back for free from someone who stole it! Also, I think the first guy had a better awnser than me.
