Will you ever be a game creator
Creating or inventing a game takes a lot of perserverence and dedication. The only person that can really answer that question is you. Creating a game is a difficult process, but if you work hard, there is no reason to believe that you can't succeed. If it is a board game, you will need to playtest it and make sure it is consistently fun to play. work with the rules to find something that works for the most people. If it is a video game, a lot of programming and time goes into video games, so make sure you have the resources and knowledge to complete the game, or network and find other people who can. Either way, when you have the complete idea or demo verson ready to present, you will need someone to market your idea. Talking to other inventors online will help you know who you can go to. A smaller game company will be more open to new games than a giant like Hasbro for instance... for the board game side. Getting your foot in the door in the huge video game industry can be tougher, but persistence and networking can still pay off... and the better the idea, the more likely you are to be heard. :) Another way to start off a video game is to put part of it online as shareware, and offer the full version to people who like it. That allows people to see your creation, and buy it if they love it. :)
