Video games enhanced the younger generation by improving skills such as organizatio, math, critical thinking skills and hand-eye coordination, creating a sense of community through arcades/multiplayer games, instilling in them a healthy sense of competition and a respect for rules, and, in the case of at risk youth, keeping them off the streets by providing them with entertainment.
