How do you land parachute on green smoke in medal of honor Vanguard for ps2

You have to try and maneuver your parachute so that you land in the green smoke area where the drop zone is .If you land in those areas (example in Operation Husky,which is the 82nds first combat jump),you have a good chance of taking out enemy soldiers manning mg-42s and any near-by enemy positions.I myself landed many times near the spotlight ,where one of two green flares were located ,earning my silver jump wings.I killed the enemy soldier nearby and quickly silenced the soldier manning the MG-42and the soldiers occupying the nearest house.
