Why is left for dead rated m

Blood, Violence, Zombies. For the same reason Halo: Reach is rated M, well except for the zombies part. ((which, honestly i think is ridiculous. Halo has almost no cussing, and if there is any it's a very minor swear. There's not blood spill, and all you're doing is pew pewing and aliens then they fall on the ground))
