How do you critique video games

You don't really critique games any differently than you would anything else. So these will be some general critique guidlines that can be used for anything. Always try to start with something general before getting specific and always start with something positive before saying anythin negative. Weigh the strengths and weaknesses of whatever you are critiquing. Remeber that a critique is different than a review, a review lists pro's, con's, and features that were good and bad and is not biased. a critique points out weakness and strengths and can be biased, you can say what you liked and what you didn't like, it's not a review and is not structured, but you always need to try to not critisize someone else's work. A critique helps someone see what they did wrong and what they did right so that they can fix their work and make it better, and so that their future projects are better than they could have been.
