Yes, if you notice a lighter period and pregnancy symptoms but HPT comes back negative, go to the doctors and have them do a BPT. There is always a chance of pregnancy when having sex. I am in this position right now and I have a scheduled appointment next week. Many people experience bleeding throughout the first trimester of pregnancy. Also with some people, they can never get a positive on a HPT. Some women say that they had a negative until the 13th week or being pregnant, it always depends on the person and the hormones! Go get tested!
