How do you defeat the boss in shadow city in drawn to life the next chapter

I just finished this, having the same problem, and thought I'd post. Here is how to defeat
the ink monster, after you finish the balloon ride:

Phase 1: Ink Run
Just run from the ink, climb as fast as you can, make sure to grab the extra life.

Phase 2: Boss eats Breakfast
First, draw some breakfast at the easel.
Something good to do is sit up on the drawing easel platform and watch the monster to get
a feel for its cycle: It will sit happily and stare at breakfast, then, become enraged and
strike out. Clamber up to where the life is on the ceiling, you'll need it. It respawns
periodically, so you should never have to lose a life. Wait until the monster's arm flies
out in a punch. The moment it pulls back, draw a platform about halfway down the action
ink platform. Jump down there and slash at its breakfast as many times you can before it
pulls back. Try to jump to the left wall. If you miss, just clamber out quickly. Refresh
your health at the top and wait until it is calm again, then slice more breakfast. After
you do this a couple times, the monster will sink back into the ink and the platform above
you will clear.

Phase 3: Ink Run
Just like the first ink run, just remember to start running the moment the boss vanishes
and you can climb again. The ink will start rising again, so don't wait. Grab an extra
life on the way up.

Phase 4: Boss eats Lunch
Pretty much the same as Breakfast-- draw the lunch, then utilize the same strategy.
However, this time, it will switch sides that it holds the lunch on. Don't worry about
this, stay on the side with the health, and just hit the lunch when it comes around to
your side. Remember to hit it at least 2-3 times each time it comes to you. Eventually,
the boss will sink back in.

Phase 5: Ink Run
Rinse and repeat, run from the ink immediately.

Phase 6: Boss eats Dinner
Same routine, you should have it down by now. At this point the boss will switch sides for
holding out its dinner(After you draw the dinner). Just sit tight in the cubby with the
health and wait till the boss is on the opposite side, and calms down to hold its dinner
out towards your side. Draw a platform and slice that dinner to bits!

After the boss is defeated once and for all, Wilfre's second journal will appear in the
air between and above the two action ink boxes. Grab it and the level ends.
