Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Guide

Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Walkthrough

Unofficial Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Guide by Chris Boots-Faubert for

This guide was written for the Xbox 360 version of the game, but it applies to all of the platforms and will be useful on them.  The hand-held game version is slightly different than the console version, but not so substantially that this guide is less useful.

The LEGO line of video games are widely enjoyed by all age ranges, and may well have more adult fans than children -- the reason for that has more to do with the subjects of the video games, practically all of which have previously been given a more serious game treatment -- and that is the point really.

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is a lot like the Harry Potter games from the series, because it tells a story that we already know and love, providing the chance for us to relive our favorite bits from the animated series in about as non-threatening a way as you can imagine.

Before we get to the meat of the Introduction, we need to talk about game play elements of this game because I fear that if we do not, and you are not an experienced hand of the LEGO series, you will find yourself very confused, very quickly, with the sort of confusion that can and often does lead to game frustration -- and considering how wicked fun these games are, that really would be a shame.

If you are unfamiliar with this game series, it is structured for game play by up to two players who can switch between different characters in order to fight enemies, solve puzzles, and progress through the levels.  This style can be confusing for new players because while it appears to be the standard linear game play approach, in reality it is anything but that!

You will find in playing through the story mode that there are areas and items that you simply cannot reach because you do not have the proper characters or skills.  That is not an accident, and you have done nothing wrong -- it is simply that you are not intended to obtain those items or access those areas as part of the story mode!  No, in fact you will need to return to, and replay, those levels in free play mode, once you have unlocked the characters that are required to complete all of the various parts in them.

The reason for that is that in free play mode you can switch between characters on-the-fly, which means that, for example, an area that requires a Dark Force character or a droid will be accessible in free play as long as you have one of that type available to use by unlocking them in game play or through purchasing them in-game!

LEGO games traditionally include a few special features in play, like scene swaps, where players can switch between teams in separate locations to complete multi-part objectives, and challenging boss battles that are often more humorous than they are dangerous. There is such a variety of play in these games that they are sure to appeal to any fan of their subject -- from space flight and battles to real-time strategy engagements during which you command large ground armies on massive battlefields!

This newest entry in the series is unique compared to the previous titles for several reasons, and not the least of which being that it is built on an entirely new graphics engine with much more beefy object handling code!  That may sound odd to you if you are playing the game on a console, because you know that the hardware in your console is not new, and so you may wonder how it can be all that much improved.  Well that is the magic of game making, mate, so you will just have to take our word for it!

OK fine, be that way!  The secret is simple -- the code that was used to build this game is tighter and much more efficient, which means that it more fully employs the graphic capabilities of your console, and can handle a much higher count of objects on the screen at any given moment.  One very obvious element in addition to tighter pixel grouping is the creative use of light and shadow in the game.

Believe it when we say that the LEGO series is a top-of-the-line cutting-edge AAA Rated game series, and the games that are part of it are not created to disappoint!

If you have played the previous titles in the LEGO Star Wars series, you are no doubt used to the hub in the game being centered around either a land-based structure, or an interior element of the space station.  That is not the case in LSW3:CW, as this game's hub is located on a star ship!  What does that mean in terms of game play?  Why it means that your hub is portable, and so you are able to move about in the galaxy while retaining that familiar space!  That is a good thing too, because as you no doubt are aware, the story of the Clone Wars spans distant planets, different star systems, and broad and empty patches of stellar real estate!

Now that we have covered the important background and thus provided you with a solid grounding on the major game elements, we shall return to the proper Introduction!

The LEGO Star Wars series is based off of two iconic pieces of entertainment -- the animated series The Clone Wars, and the eponymous toy line created by the Lego Group based on the Star Wars movies.

The bloodlines of the series are honest and deep, and they begin with LEGO Star Wars, the Video Game, which was released in March of 2005 for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance,  Nintendo GameCube, Sony PlayStation 2, and Microsoft's Xbox console and, much later,  for Windows PC.

The first game in the series established it.  That may sound rather obvious, but what you are thinking is not what we mean.   LEGO Star Wars, the Video Game did more for the games that followed than simply establish the format and appearance, it also set the standard for quality and self-depreciating humor of the sort that leaves you without any doubt that when you do something stupid -- and you will do stupid things -- the game is laughing with you, and not at you.  An important distinction.

The establishing game was followed by LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy in September of 2006, then LEGO Star Wars, the Complete Saga in May 2007.  In October of 2009 LEGO Star Wars: the Quest for R2-D2 was released as a free online game, and while many purists insist that as it was a freebie it does not properly belong in the official canon, our response to that is bullocks!   And with that sentiment, and that game, we come full circle to the most recent offering, LEGO Star Wars III: the Clone Wars, which was released on March 22nd, 2011, and about which this guide is written!

I have played all of these games, and many of them on multiple platforms, simply because they are fun and easily number among the most entertaining games available today.  If it appears that I speak of them with a robust enthusiasm, why, that is because I do indeed feel that way about them.  I have spent many hours playing -- and re-playing -- their various levels.

Moving on, and lastly, this guide is carefully and logically structured to be as useful to you as it can be, and is written with great detail and intense care to provide the information that you need to get your bearings no matter how deep into a level you are when you go looking for help!  Now, how cool is that?

So having covered all of the ground that we really needed to cover, and some that was more or less optional but that I thought were a good idea, all that is left is for me to tell you that you are about to embark upon an adventure filled with danger, excitement, and challenges galore!

In spite of the fact that this is technically a game that is aimed at children, as an adult gamer you are going to need this guide badly at some points, because though packed with joy the trappings of the game world will lull you into a false sense of security until, BAM!  You end up lost and in need of direction!

Well that is why I am here mate!  So relax, don't panic, I've got your back!

Appendix A: Cheat Codes

Editor's Note: Yes I know Appendices are usually at the end, but seeing as this guide is so HUGE we didn't want you to miss this important content and stuck them higher up in the index. Also, it is ALWAYS our recommendation that you try the game first without cheat cods and then only utilise them when you are really stuck or have completed the game once, so you get the most out of it.

To use a cheat code, pause the game with the Start button and enter the Extras Sub-Menu, then select the first option in it, Enter Secret Code.  The following list of codes was culled from various sources including board postings on SuperCheats and other fan sites.

Part 01: Prologue -- Geonosian Arena

After you put the disc into your console you are prompted to set up the game save -- if you have not played the game yet, that means designating the save slot that you want to use, which as a general rule would be Slot 1.   The game prompts you to confirm that you want to save in Slot 1 -- or whatever Slot you chose -- and once you do it actually creates a game save on your drive so that there is one ready to be written to when you go to save the game later!

Your game save will contain some useful information, specifically the date and time of the last save, and the percentage of the game you have completed under the heading of Progress.

You are informed that Autosave is active on your game and told that when you see the icon of Yoda on your screen, that means that the game is in the process of saving, and you should not turn off your console or otherwise disrupt the process.

Once you agree to that, the Prologue start sequence begins!

Star
Wars

Prologue
Geonosian Arena

Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi has traveled to Geonosis in pursuit of the Bounty Hunter Jango Fett.  However he has been captured by Count Dooku, the leader of a Separatist conspiracy against the Republic.  Anakin and Padme received Obi-Wan's distress signal, but they too have been captured.

All three now await their fate in the Geonosian Execution Arena...

-- Opening Act --

The Starting Animation for the Prologue

As the cut scene (hereinafter referred to as "CS") that opens the level plays out, you see the familiar sequence from the movie, though perhaps with a level of humor that is new to you but typical of these games!   I personally thought that Jango Fett offering ice cream to his master was rather amusing, but hey, I am easy to amuse I suppose...

If you are a purist or just interested, you may like to know that the Geonosian Execution Arena is actually just a nickname for this place -- its proper name is the Petranaki Arena, or sometimes the Arena of Justice.  The Arena exists for a very simple reason -- it provides both entertainment to the citizens and a means for the government to get rid of troublesome prisoners while making a bit of coin in the process!

As the first level of the game opens we see that Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala have been scheduled for execution, having been convicted of espionage by Poggle the Lesser.  As the event begins we see an Acklay (the spider-like beast), a Reek (the horned beast), and a Nexu (the cat-like beast) as they are forced out of the tunnels that lead to the droid factory and into the arena, where they are intended to kill our heroes!

-- Menu Options --

Before we get on with the level we should quickly review the menu options that you have available to you, and explain them briefly...  Hitting Start brings up the menu, which includes the choices Resume, Options, Extras, and Quite Game.  Resume and Quite Game need no explaining, and Options simply permits you to adjust the Audio Volume, turn the Music On or Off, set the Split Screen Mode between Dynamic, Fixed Vertical, or Fixed Horizontal, set the Brightness, and turn the Motion Blur effect On or Off.  You can also use the Back option to return to the previous menu -- and it will morph to read "Accept" if you make any changes.

The Extras Sub-Menu is a listing of the powers associated with the 18 special Red Power Bricks that you will eventually find in the game through the free play mode for the most part, with each being able to be turned on or off if you have actually obtained the corresponding brick.

Obtaining the brick is accomplished by solving a puzzle or gaining access to an area that is restricted to a specific character or characters, or requires a specific power -- but finding and obtaining the brick does NOT give you its corresponding power!  To obtain that, once you have found the brick you must also have the amount of studs required to purchase the power, and then purchase it from the store on the ship specified in the list below.

As I mention above, there are a total of 18 bricks, and 18 special powers that are specific to each.  These are:

Red Power Brick 01: Red Power Brick Detector (Resolute Battleship - Cost = 125K)
Red Power Brick 02: Glow in the Dark (Resolute Battleship - Cost = 25K)
Red Power Brick 03: Score x2 (Resolute Battleship Cost = 500K)
Red Power Brick 04: Score x4 (Resolute Battleship - Cost = 2 Million)
Red Power Brick 05: Score x6 (Resolute Battleship - Cost = 10 Million)
Red Power Brick 06: Score x8 (Invisible Hand Battleship - Cost = 20 Million)
Red Power Brick 07: Score x10 (Resolute Battleship - Cost =  40 Million)
Red Power Brick 08: Stud Magnet (Resolute Battleship Cost = 500K)
Red Power Brick 09: Fast Build (Resolute Battleship Cost = 500K)
Red Power Brick 10: Character Studs (Resolute Battleship Cost = 100K)
Red Power Brick 11: Super Speeder (Resolute Battleship Cost = 40 Million)
Red Power Brick 12: Minikit Detector (Resolute Battleship Cost = 750K)
Red Power Brick 13: Super Saber Cut (Resolute Battleship Cost = 300K)
Red Power Brick 14: Regenerate Hearts (Invisible Hand Battleship - Cost = 400K)
Red Power Brick 15: Prefect Deflect (Invisible Hand Battleship - Cost = 100K)
Red Power Brick 16: Dual Wield (Invisible Hand Battleship - Cost = 250K)
Red Power Brick 17: Dark Side (Invisible Hand Battleship - Cost = 150K)
Red Power Brick 18: Invincibility (Invisible Hand Battleship - Cost = 1 Million)

If your goal is to maximize acquiring points and studs (in-game money) your best approach is to concentrate upon the score multiplier bricks, because these multipliers stack!  So, for instance, turning on the first would give you x2 score, while the first two would give x2 x x4, which is an x8 multiplier.  You should be able to see how having all of them turned on will result in an avalanche of studs...

If you prefer an easier route to obtaining these bricks and their powers you can enter cheat codes by selecting the first sub-menu option -- but as this is a guide about doing it right, we only include the cheat codes in the appendix, and suggest that you at least attempt to obtain them the normal way before resorting to use of a cheat code, as you will feel much greater satisfaction by earning them!

The Prologue Challenges

-- Back to the Level --

As you gain control of Obi-Wan, you are prompted to press and hold 'B' to use The Force to draw the Ackly nearer to you, at which point it takes a swipe at you and severs a chain.  You can now use The Force on the column you are still chained  to, turning it into a sort of step-like form that allows you to jump up each level to the top -- but be sure that you collect the studs that fall out when you use The Force on an object or destroy it, because they add up!

At the top of the column you use 'B' again to destroy the protrusion on the next column, and then use 'Y' to change to the next character, which is Anakin, who then uses 'B; to climb to the top of his column, collecting studs as he goes.  Be sure to get the blue stud, as it is worth 1,000!

Press 'B' now to use the chain to restrain the Reek, and then use 'Y' to switch to the Anakin and use The Force to topple the column.  The Reek breaks loose at this point, so you switch back to Padme, and restrain it again, then change to Obi-Wan to use The Force on it, then jump upon its back using 'Y' in order to ride it!

Holding down 'A' while riding causes the beast to charge -- and you are then prompted to use its charge as an attack against the other beasts, with a helpful red arrow appearing on the screen to guide you in your attacks!  Bear in mind that there are objects strategically placed in the area that can be destroyed to gain studs as well as special items like Minikits for destroying X-Number of specific objects in a set.

You will need to ram the beast that is designated by the red arrow a total of 4 times to complete that challenge, but you should also try to obtain the other optional elements of the area as well,

There are also puddles of studs on the ground nearby that you can ride over to collect.  While obviously collecting studs is not a priority for the level, it is a good idea to do so anyway, because as mentioned earlier, they add up, and besides you are going to need them, and to obtain the True Jedi Rating for this mission you will need to collect 85,000 Stud Points!

Destroy the five objects at the front of the arena to unlock the kit 1/10, then collect the pools of studs before you finally ram the beast four times to trigger a CS in which rescue arrives.  Now it is time to complete the melee part of the level, but hey, you have help now, right?

-- Taking Out the Akley --

You will notice that you are now being chased around the Arena by the Akley -- in order to kill it you need to use teamwork, so first, using your Jedi attack the glowing leg until you cut it off, after which you need to use Padme to tether the beast, and a Jedi character to jump on its back and damage it, thus removing one of the health hearts it has.  Rinse and repeat this process until the Akley is dead!

-- Killing Jango Fett --

Your next challenge is to kill Jango Fett, which you accomplish by targeting him with your light saber (holding X) and then using the left joystick to actually target him, and releasing X to throw your saber, which will damage him.  Do that three times to remove his health hearts and trigger a CS in which another Jedi helpfully removes his head.

-- Having an Escape --

The next challenge is to make use of the trio of transports that have just landed in the Arena.  You do that by running over to each one and using The Force to open its door, after which the designated Jedi who are supposed to escape on it will climb on board.  Open all three doors, then return and close the doors of the three starting with the first so that they can take off, thus rescuing the characters who have climbed on board.

Once you have done this you will trigger a CS of the end of the battle and escape, and then the game will present your very first conclusion wrap-up screen in which all of your hard work is quantified in the form of counting up the studs you collected, showing you how many kit parts you collected, and how many Gold Bricks you unlocked as a result of your play.  You also see which (if any) characters you have unlocked by completing the level -- in this case you have unlocked Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Padmé Amidala so good on ya mate!

For completing this stage you unlock the Achievement "This is just the beginning!" (10 GS) and the Free Play Mode for this level!  If you failed to obtain enough studs to unlock True Jedi, you can return later to replay the level to do that.  You may find it a lot easier to return after you have a multiplier block, as that will make acquiring the number needed oh so much easier!

Part 02: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 1

The level concludes with your escape, and arrival at the game hub, which in this case is on board of a battleship in deep space!  When you arrive you will find that there are some studs to be picked up and some objects to be built -- go ahead and collect the studs and then build the object in the center, the console interface from which you will be choosing your adventures and interfacing with the game!

The Console Interface

There is a Gold Brick door object to be built as well, but unless you obtained all of the Gold Bricks required (unlikely) you cannot build it yet.

-- The Battleship Resolute --

You are standing on the Bridge of the Republic’s Battleship -- it is called the Resolute -- but this is not the only level of the ship, it is just the only one you can get to right now.  The ship consists of the following levels:

Level 00: The Bridge (Where you are now)
Level 01: Engine Room (Requires 3 Gold Bricks to access)
Level 02: Medical Bay (Requires 6 Gold Bricks to access)
Level 03: Bacta Chambers (down lift from the Med Bay)
Level 04: Brig Area (Right exit from Engine Room)
Level 05: Hanger Bay (Take the lift from the Brig)
Level 06: Turret Control Compartment (Left lift from Hanger Bay)
Level 07: Flight Deck (Requires 10 Gold Bricks to access)
Level 08: Assault Deck (Requires 15 Gold Bricks to access)

Since we do not have enough bricks to build the first door, we cannot explore these areas yet, but soon we will!  For now though, head to the console.

Stepping on to the red plate in front of the console and pressing 'B' gives you access to the Menu System -- but at the moment the only thing you can select is the Mission Select option!

Selecting that reveals that the missions from here split into the three separate areas of the game: Christophsis (The Hidden Enemy), Ruusan Moon (Duel of the Droids), and Geonosis (Battle of Geonosis).  We just came from the Arena of course, and if you select that on the console you will see that it brings up a status display that shows you if you have completed the True Jedi stud collection, and how many Kit Parts you have acquired.  It also allows you to select between Story Mode and Free play if you select it, should you want to replay that mission!

When you select Free Play you choose the characters that you want to take in with you -- but as we do not yet have any of the special characters needed to unlock the other areas of the Arena available, it would be an idea to hold off on this for now!

So, that leaves us with deciding which of the three paths we want to pursue first -- and as we are literally right here at Geonosis, well, that makes the decision very easy!

So select Battle of Geonosis and hit the Action Button now!

Part 03: Count Dooku and the Battle of Geonosis

COUNT DOOKU
Chapter 1
BATTLE OF GEONOSIS

The attempt to thwart the Separatist plot to overthrow the Republic continues.  Vast core ships have been discovered deep in the Geonosian desert.

A few bold Jedi and their clone army muster for battle against apparently overwhelming Separatist forces. . .

-- Opening Act --

The CS that start the mission begins with the Jedi hopping off of their transport, putting you right into the battlefield,   There is a vehicle nearby to the right -- a hover cycle -- which you can use to scoot around the battlefield to destroy the collection items you need to collect your kit part.  There are actually two sets here --  ten small square machine devices distributed across the battlefield, and five plants that look like tall cactus' -- there is not much point in going after these right now because one of the ten can only be destroyed by a Dark Force Jedi.

Do not get frustrated by the fact that there are elements in each level you cannot access -- this is just how they do it -- you will be able to get to them later in Free Play Mode when you have the right types of character unlocked, so no worries, mate!

If you do have one of those Dark Force characters then look along the edges of the battlefield for the most part -- also there is a kit piece along the back left edge as well partly hidden by the landscape but you should be able to see it shining there, so be sure to collect that!

Winning the Battle

Jump on to one of the walker mech units and use that to destroy the three special units -- they look like two large ring-wheels with a frame between them -- then look for the kit part that is hovering in the air above the third one that you kill -- you will need one of the large cannon walkers to grab it -- and the main gun on those are also able to destroy the silver units that can be destroyed no other way!

There are Silver Units and a Silver Building on the battlefield you will want to destroy as well as the five buildings that are the main target for this mission.  To get to those you will need to walk through the red force fields that are protecting them and use their controls to turn them off before you can proceed with their destruction -- and you will find that one of the walker units will be much more effective in destroying the buildings as well as other buildings and units!

True Jedi on this level is 100K studs -- a target that you may have trouble reaching without one of the multiplier blocks active...

Once you have taken out the last building you see the ships try to lift off, but the clone army shoots them out of the sky, and then you get a CS of the end of hte battle, and the smoking ruins.

This completes the level and unlocks the characters Mace Windu, Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Kit Fisto.

You should have found two of the 10 kit parts, and you will receive your second Gold Brick for completing this level.

Part 04: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 2

After the mission you return to the hub, but when you access the console this time there are two new selections available -- Characters and Arcade Mode.  Those are just what they sound like -- a menu from which you can select your active characters, and the 2-Player-Only Arcade Mode.

As you can see the studs for here have reappeared -- you can grab them if you like as after all they eventually add up -- and you are going to need lots of studs!

Buying New Characters

-- Saving Your Progress --

Now that we have actually made progress, there is something that we need to cover: Saving.

As you know, the game uses an auto-save feature, but that can be a bit misleading because while it saves some stuff, it does not save your over-all progress!  To do that you need to save when you quit the game -- and to keep from costing yourself time and progress you should develop a habit of doing a quit-and-save every time you return to the hub!  In fact it should be the first thing that you do when you arrive at the hub -- just quit-and-save!  You do not lose anything by doing it that way, as when you resume the game you start right there, having arrived at the hub.

This is a really good habit to get into when playing LEGO games.

The next thing we should cover is additional characters -- as you can see there are new characters running around on the ship -- you can actually buy them!  As illustrated in the video, to do that all that you need to do is walk up to any you do not already own and you will see the prompt to press 'B' to buy them -- just do that and there you go!

Finally if you switch to Padme and run around you will see that there are objects that can be pulled on or destroyed to gain more studs on the ship!  Have fun with that!

Before you begin the next mission we need to talk about the Multiplier Red Blocks...  Having those will help you a LOT -- but to get them you need to collect Gold Blocks in order to repair the doors that lead to the different areas of the ship -- you need 3 to repair the first door here, so this next mission will get that done.

To get to the 2x multiplier you will need a total of 10 Gold Bricks and 500,000 studs, so you should concentrate upon obtaining as many studs as you can as you work towards that 10 Gold Blocks so that when you get there, you already have the studs you need to buy the multiplier.  I don't have to tell you that once you have that first multiplier everything is going to get a lot easier!

Part 05: Count Dooku and the Gungan General

COUNT DOOKU
Chapter 2
GUNGAN GENERAL

Anakin and Obi-Wan are held prisoner by the infamous Hondo and his band of space pirates on the planet of Florrum.

The Senate and Jedi High Council meet to decide who they should send to negotiate the Jedi's release -- but the devious pirates have been making plans of their own. . .

-- Opening Act --

The level opens with a CS that starts with the conversation in the Jedi High Council chambers where you meet Jar Jar Binks -- the GunGan General!  You watch his shuttle land and see the prisoners hanging by chains, oh no's!

There are ten of the plants you can destroy to collect a kit part in this zone, so do that first!

The objective here is to destroy the three generators -- so start by running to the right and grabbing the kit part, then jump on a mount and ride to the ones with shields up and turn their shields off.  Once you have done that, all that you need to do is hijack a vehicle and turn its gun on the the other vehicles to thin out the crowd.

Destroying the Three Towers

You destroy the towers by grabbing a proton torpedo from the glowing pink dispensers while mounted on one of the speeder bikes -- but before you do that, destroy five of the speeder bikes to score another kit piece in this level!

Once you have done that, hijack a bike and ride it over the dispenser to pick up a torpedo, then head for a tower and launch the torpedo using the 'B' button.  When you destroy the first one you unlock the Achievement "Great shot kid" (10 GP) for the doing of it.  Now destroy the remaining two towers by hijacking a cannon vehicle and destroying the Silver shield generators that are protecting them, then hijacking a speeder and hitting them with a torpedo.  Easy-peasy Lemon-squeezy!

Chances are pretty good that, in the process of completing this level, you will unlock the Achievement "Finders Keepers" (10 GP) for hijacking 20 vehicles -- so if you want to get this for sure, unlock it prior to destroying the last tower.

Once you destroy the third tower the prisoners are released from their bonds and meet up with Jar Jar, and you get a CS of them taking off to finish the level!  Good on ya!

Your reward for this level is to unlock the characters  Jar Jar Binks, Commander Stone, and Clone Trooper.  You obtain your 3rd Gold Brick, and three kit parts, and some studs.  Nice.

Part 06: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 3

After the mission you return to the hub, and when you access the console this time, a new selection has been unlocked: Systems.

The Systems menu tells you who controls the planet you are selecting -- the Republic or the Separatists.  There is an Achievement that relates to this that we will cover later, for now though just revel in the fact that you have unlocked another console choice!

The Grand Tour - Expanding the Hub

In the hub you will see that you can now assemble the door that required 3 Gold Bricks -- and doing so gives you access to the lift that takes you to lower hub center.  Splitting off from here there are two additional doors that need to be constructed -- one that requires 6 Gold Bricks, and another that requires 10 Gold Bricks -- and to the right a passage that leads to the hangers, where you can access the vehicles you have unlocked!

Go ahead and check out the motorcycle now!

When you finish playing with the motorcycle head to the far left and take the lift here down to the turret control area -- there are two turrets here that you can use to shoot at attacking enemy ships -- if you ever find that you need a few thousand extra studs this is an easy way to get them without having to leave the ship!

When you have satiated your ship-shooting urge you have pretty much done everything that there is to do here other than destroy new and additional objects for studs that is!  You cannot do anything else from here at the moment -- you need more Gold Bricks!  So head back to the lift and return to the bridge now.

Part 07: Count Dooku and the Jedi Crash

COUNT DOOKU
Chapter 3
JEDI CRASH

Count Dooku's war against the Republic is waged on many fronts.

A fleet led by Aayla Secura is under heavy attack from Separatist Munificent-class frigates, and the Republic’s flagship is in danger of being over-run by the enemy.

Fortunately, two Jedi heroes are not far behind. . .

-- Opening Act --

The opening CS shows the attack in progress with enemy battle droid units boarding the ship through holes blown in the top and sides, as Republic troops defend each passageway.  Armed transports with the Jedi arrive and you take control of one of them, flying towards the landing bay of the ship.

Before you fly in and land, this is an opportunity for you to get True Jedi early on, and to unlock another Achievement -- simply tap the left joystick up, down, left, or right to make special maneuvers -- complete a total of 5 loops, 5 backflips, and 5 corkscrews to unlock the Achievement "It ain't like dusting crops boy" (10GP).  To get True Jedi you need to collect 75,000 studs.

You can collect the studs for True Jedi next by shooting down enemy fighters -- yes, I know you are in an armed gunship transport more suitable for attacking ground targets than other ships and not a fighter -- but is you fly it well and defensively and use your lasers you can get that 75,000 studs in around 5 minutes!  Each time you die (you will) you lose 2,000 studs, but as you will gain way more than that between deaths that is not a problem.  One thing though, you MUST stay inside the mission area -- if you leave it you will get around 10 seconds of warning and they your ship explodes if you do not return to the mission area within that warning period.  So don't stray out of the mission area, right?

Once you have your 75,000 studs and maybe a little extra for insurance, follow the blue arrow on the screen to the landing pad and hit the 'Y' button to land.

Earning your Wings

-- On the Landing Pad --

There are items -- and droids -- you can destroy, and search lights you can spin to get studs, but your primary path is towards the yellow and black checkered walls which you can climb using your light saber.  At the top of the wall the path continues, where you find a lever to pull to open the blast door, revealing a tank that you then push out along the path to the end, then left to plug it into the fire control system to help put out the fires on the deck!

As you can see putting out the fires is what we are supposed to be doing, as activating that fire control system ticked off one of the three objectives for the mission!

In the back of the area where you got the tank is a kit part, but as it is in the flames you cannot get to it just now, so head back to your ship and fly to the next platform and land (look for the big red cross).

Follow the stud path towards you (towards the screen) to go down the steps and you will find a platform that you stand on to use your light saber to cut away a section of the wall, revealing circuits behind it.  To the left of here is a construction object -- build that to restore the tank, then return to the circuit you revealed by cutting away the wall and throw the switch on it to activate the second fire control system!  Good job!

Right then, so now we head back to our transport and fly a short distance to the right, where we find the next landing pad in a burning section of the hull -- and land.

Follow the stud path to the right and use The Force to deploy the bridge and then jump across to pull the lever and engage the final fire control system.  You may have noticed that kit part -- if we had a character who was small enough to crawl through the special door here we could get that but we do not -- it is another one of the items we get in Free Play Mode.

-- The Rescue --

Now that you have turned on the third Fire Control System, head back to our transport and take off to trigger a CS, and watch the events unfold as one of our ships is captured by a tractor beam.  Fly to the landing pad near that ship and land, exiting our transport and using the force to rebuild the torpedo dispenser here.

Once it is rebuilt, head to the right and throw the switch that activates it, and you will see that it is ready to begin dispensing torpedoes -- a good thing because as we can see, there are several marked spots that need torpedoes sent into them!

Jump back in the transport and grab a torpedo from the dispenser, then attack the three marked spots to trigger a CS in which you reveal the next target -- the open bay.  Fly to it and land, and you will note that we now have a new goal -- kill nine of the larger droids!  Well?  Go do that!

In the process of killing them you will encounter a different type of droid -- a round one that is floating -- and when you kill one of those you discover it is a collection set -- you need to kill 3 of that type!

Once we kill the 9th large droid our mates join up with us, and we switch to the commander and use his grapple ability to grapple the blinking red object to the left of the door in the center of the back, which causes it to open!  Inside there are lots of objects to destroy for studs, and at the very back a ship to replace our transport!  Excellent!

This new ship is already armed with torpedoes -- which is a good thing as it turns out -- because as we follow the arrow on the screen we see that there are three marked spots we need to shoot!  After that all that is left is for us to dock with the Republic ship by flying below it and hitting 'Y' to trigger the CS that ends this level!

You should have easily obtained your first True Jedi from this, and unlocked the characters Ahsoka, Aayla Secura, and Commander Bly, and a new vehicle -- the Republic Gunship!  That should brink our Gold Brick count to 5 (one for the level, and one for True Jedi)!

If you have not already done so this is likely to be the level that you unlock the Achievement "The Force is with you" (10 GP) for surviving a level without dying and of course you unlock the Achievement "Are all Jedi so reckless" (10 GP) for completing the Jedi Crash level of the game!

We hit continue to see another CS and then we are back at the Hub!

Part 08: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 4

The first thing that we should do now that we are back at the Hub is a quit-and-save to make sure we have all of our progress saved and get used to doing that.  Now that you have done that this visit to the Hub is going to contain something of a detour of sorts...  Actually it is going to be a significant detour, but I promise you that the extra time and effort you are about to put in will be worth it!

First to explain why: we are going to score a Red Brick multiplier early to make our lives a lot easier.  How you wonder?  Right, well first you need to grab your preferred Jedi character and head down to the Hanger Bay, then go to the left back section where you will see three red garbage cans -- use The Force to pick one of the red cans up, and move it to the garbage processor platform.

When you drop it, the processor will automatically pick it up and empty it, causing a Red Brick -- our first in the game so far -- to be ejected from the processor as a result!  This is the 4x Multiplier Brick!

The problem we have now is that to obtain and use this brick we have to purchase it -- and purchasing  it requires us to spend 2-million studs --  so head back to the Bridge now and access the console, selecting the level we just did -- Jedi Crash -- and then choosing Free Play Mode rather than Story Mode.

You are now prompted to select your favorite character along with a vehicle.  Select a Jedi character and then the Republic Gunship as your choices and start the level.  All that you need to do here is milk this level for studs!  The beauty part is that you do not actually have to complete the level -- when you have the studs that you need all you have to do is save-and-quit -- and you get to take the studs with you as you leave the level!

-- Farming 2 Million Studs --

You should easily be able to get the studs you need by dog fighting here -- it will take a lot less time than you think, and way less time than if you tried redoing any of the other levels! So go ahead and get the 2 million studs (actually you should already have around 400K so you need between 1.6 and 1.7 million not 2).  Because this sort of play has a tendency to confuse the Xbox you may want to save every 200K or so, as that way if it does lock up or crash you do not lose so much...

The easy way to do this is to find a spot to hover -- you do not actually hover as there is a minimum amount of forward motion no matter what you do with the controls -- but hover-like positioning while holding down the 'X' button to fire your blasters will allow you to quickly rack up some impressive stud counts.  There are areas around the ships here that have a higher than average traffic rate, so just look for one of those and get to it!

There will be two different guide arrows on the screen as you play-- a blue one and a green one -- the blue arrows lead to the next landing pad in the sequence for completing the level, which we are not doing anyway so you can ignore them.  The green arrows point at each of five flying probe drones that you need to collect in order to unlock a kit part (which will float in the air at the point where you destroy/collect the 5th drone) and as this is something that we actually do want to do, you may as well  go ahead and collect the drones now!

After you take out the five drones and collect the kit part, concentrate upon studs and shooting down the enemy to get them...  Remember you need a total of 2-million, and you do not need to worry about getting more than that because once you have the brick getting studs will no longer be a concern.

Got them?  Excellent!

Scoring the 4x Multiplier Brick and using it

Quit and save to head back to the Hanger Bay, then quit-and-save from here to fully sve your progress.  Now load the game back up and head into the lift and down to the Hanger Bay, where you will use The Force to move the trash containers to the processor until you empty the correct one -- the one that contains the Brick -- and it will be ejected.  Now purchase the Brick and then open the Start Menu and select Extras, move to the 4x Multiplier line (which is now available!) and turn it on.

Turning on the multiplier bricks does NOT prevent you from unlocking Achievements -- though some of the Red Bricks do.  Once you have this turned on, all studs are worth four times their normal value, so:

Stud Color  /  Normal Value  /  New Value
---------------------------------------------------
Silver Stud          10              50
Gold Stud           100             400
Blue Stud          1000            4000
Purple Stud       10000           40000

As you can see the stud count is going to rocket upwards now -- and bear in mind that if/when you get more of the multiplier bricks the bonus stacks, and with all of them turned on you get 3,840 times the value!  While that is great, for now 4x is plenty!

-- Some Unfinished Business --

Before we go back to the story mode, remember the previous levels we completed to get here?  Yeah, we did not unlock the True Jedi for those -- but if we had, we would now have X Gold Bricks, which would give us access to new areas of the Hub, so why don't we quickly replay those levels in Free Play mode, concentrating just on unlocking True Jedi?

This will be quick, I promise -- so head back to the bridge now, and access the console, moving the target to the very center of the system map, and selecting Geonosian Arena.

Geonosian Arena:  As you can see we currently only have one kit part for here -- we got that for destroying the wooden stands on the Arena floor if you recall?  Select Free Play Mode, then pick Obi-Wan as your character, then enter the Arena!  Run to the stud pools on the ground and pick them up and you will score True Jedi in less than a minute!

Now quit-and-save and you will see that you get to keep the studs and True Jedi!

Back in the hub look at the Start Menu and you will see that you now have 1/18 Red Bricks, 9.2% complete, and 6/130 Gold Bricks!  Check the Arena again and you see that you have True Jedi completed on it!  Yay us!

Battle of Geonosis: Now select the Battle of Geonosis and Free Play Mode, with Obi-Wan as your character, and enter the level.  All that we are interested in doing is collecting the studs we need, and destroying the cannon walkers by each tower is the fastest way to do that!

After you destroy enough of those to get True Jedi, quit-and-save to return to the hub!

You now have 1/18 Red Bricks, 9.6% and 7/130 Gold Bricks!

Gungan General: Select Free play Mode and Obi-Wan, then enter the level and collect the 180K studs required to unlock True Jedi, then quit-and-save!

You now have around 500K in studs, 1/18 Red Bricks, 10% completion, and 8/130 Gold Bricks!

-- New Hub Areas --

Now that we have unlocked all of the True Jedi for the levels we have actually played, we have 8 Gold Bricks, which means that we can now build the door for the Medical Bay -- and that means we can edit and create custom characters in the Bacta Tanks if we want to!

Taking the lift to the left side of the Medical Bay takes us to the Bact Tank Bay, where we cannot actually use them yet, but you will notice that, for example, the one that is labeled "Battle of Geonosis" has the partially assembled character that is made from the collected kit parts!  Once we have a better variety of characters and can go after the rest of the kit parts in each level, we will be able to complete these characters and add them to our collection!

FYI each area in the game has a Tank that corresponds to it, and once you collect all of the kit parts for each individual area you can unlock their special character!

OK that wraps up our detour!  Return to the Bridge and continue the story from here -- being able to easily unlock True Jedi from here on!  To unlock the next area we will need two more Gold Bricks, which we will obtain in the next area for completing it, and getting True Jedi there, so after we finish the next area we will have access to the rest of the Hub!

Part 09: Count Dooku and the Defenders of Peace

COUNT DOOKU
Chapter 4
DEFENDERS OF PEACE

Thanks to the daring intervention of Anakin and Ahsoka,  Aayla Secura has been safely reunited with her Republic allies.

But even as they find some little time to rest and prepare for the next stage of the galaxy-wide conflict, the Jedi know that Separatist forces, masterminded by the devious Count Dooku, can confront them at any time. . .

-- Opening Act --

The opening CS shows your ship still firmly locked into the landing bay of the larger star ship, while the crew has some little trouble properly disengaging from the locks and launching!  Still, you manage it even though you leave a droid and antennae mast behind, but sadly you crash-land on the planet, where you find a nearby enemy artillery piece causing havoc.

When you regain control of the character you are standing by the wreckage of your ship -- be sure to grab the studs here, then use The Force to assemble the speeder bike at the front of the ship but DO NOT try to mount it!  If you do the electrical arcs will kill you -- instead head to the left and chop up the tall grass clumps for some studs and to reset the location of the speeder bike so it is no longer in the arc area, and then mount it.

Note that when you start a new level you need to turn the multiplier bricks (and any other bricks you plan to use) back on, as they are not automatically turned on for each level!  Go ahead and do that now, right?

-- Free Stud Collection Spot --

There is an odd side-effect to the spot by where the speeder relocates -- a grass cluster should respawn here but, because of where the bike is, it is instantly destroyed, and a pile of studs erupts from the ground here.  If you are lazy you can place your character right where it erupts and leave them there to collect the studs automatically -- so basically you could leave them idle there and go eat or watch TV and come back later to a large bank of studs!

Whipping the Electrical Threat

-- Back on Track --

Along the edge of the area (towards the screen) is a palm-tree-like plant that is part of the collection for this level -- you need to collect 10 of them by destroying them -- so destroy this one (1/10) then using the Clone Trooper and the Lurmen to pull open the panel on the side of the ship with their whips.  With the panel open, assemble the speeder from the parts inside, and then use The Force to rotate the trio of latches to open the power core sections, and use The Force to move the power core away and assemble it in the distance!

Once you do that, the way is not clear to move past without the electricity killing you -- so head north and destroy the next collectible tree (2/10), then follow the edge along north to the next one (3/10) near the pair of speeders.  East from there is the next collectible (4/10) near the silver structure.

Move towards the power core to reveal the large LEGO surface grid and pay 6,000 studs to deploy a cannon,  then use it to destroy the Silver structure!

Move past the now open entrance to the far area and follow the edge of the zone to get collectibles 5/10 and 6/10 nearby.  Collectible 7/10 is just past the enemy position along the edge to the east, then quite a distance away at the edge on the other end of the long building is 8/10.

Take control of one of the platform sites close to the buiding and construct a Vehicle Generator, then order a small walker mech unit which you can use to destroy three of the large enemy tank units to unlock a kit part.

To help in combating the droid troops construct barracks to generate your own troops -- and build shield generators to protect your new buildings.  The basic system in place here is simple to follow -- you can start out building basic buildings and, once you build those, it adds new buildings you can construct.  Make those to unlock even more structures, and so on.  You will need to take control of several of the base spots and build your buildings in order to gain the capability to combat the different troops and threats.

After you build the 4th type of Barracks and enough time has passed you will unlock the Achievement "Attack of the clones!" (10 GP) for deploying 500 Clones.

The last two collectible trees are along the edge near the droid interface station that you can construct, and that pretty much accounts for the optional parts of the level!  All that remains is for you to shut off the enemy shields and destroy their emplacements, then destroy the Rayshield Generator that is protecting the Defoliator, and then destroy the Defoliator to save the village and end the mission!

Finishing the mission unlocks the character Wag Too, and two new Gold Bricks (one for completing the mission, one for True Jedi) for a total of 10 Gold Bricks, which means you can build the last door on the Hub!

Part 10: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 5

Back on the Hub we have quite a bit to accomplish now that we can do it -- so bear with me while we go pick up some character capabilities and some new ships!

-- Flight Deck Areas --

After you quit-and-save and then reload the game, take the lift down and build the door to the Main Flight Deck, go inside and use the left-hand lift to reach the Lower Flight Deck, where you will purchase the droid R4-P17, which you will find wandering around here -- just walk up to it, press 'B' and then buy it for 35,000 Studs.

Now move to one of the Ship Terminals (there are two) and purchase the following by ordering them delivered then moving to them on the pad and using 'B' to buy them:

50,000 Studs -- Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter
50,000 Studs -- Republic Cruiser (Missiles Torpedoes)
50,000 Studs -- The Twilight

Finally move to the container on the far left corner and smash the crates in front of it and use the Commando Whip to open it.  Inside you will find the 2x Multiplier Red Brick.  Purchase it for 500,000 Studs.

Expanding our capabilities

-- Visiting the Invisible Hand Battleship --

Using the ship console, call up one of the ships you now own and board it, which will cause it to be launched into space.  Fly all the way to the right and dock with the large ship you find there -- this is the enemy (Separatist) Battleship the Invisible Hand.

As soon as you land on board you unlock the Achievement "Got a bad feeling about this" (10 GP) for landing on the Invisible Hand!

Purchase Count Dooku for 250,000 Studs, and then switch to Count Dooku and kill Anakin Skywalker to unlock the Achievement "Twice the pride, double the fall" (10 GP) for defeating Anakin with Count Dooku!

Find and purchase Cad Bane for 250,000 Studs next, and then  use the vehicle console to purchase:

100 Studs -- Vulture Droid
50,000 Studs -- Hyena Bomber

Make sure you are playing as Count Dooku and go all the way to the left here you will find a Dark Force activity -- use that to raise the platform, then jump on and buy the Red Brick for Dual Wield for 250,000 Studs.

Using the Bounty Hunter Cad Bane, cross to the far left side of the chamber and use the Bounty Hunter terminal to gain access to the next chamber, where you will purchase Jango Fett for 70,000 Studs, Turk Falso for 45,000 Studs, Hondo Ohnaka for 45,000 Studs, and Pirate Ruffian for 10,000 Studs.  You should unlock the Plate Saucer vessel here as well.

Using your blasters shoot down the four objects from the ceiling, destroying them after they fall to the deck to unlock another Red Block -- Regenerate Hearts for 400,000 Studs.  In the corner is a mission terminal (has the big red '!') that you should ignore for now.

Use the lift on the left side of the chamber to access the Turret Control Deck where you will purchase the Probe Droid for 6,000 Studs.

Head back in the lift and then back through the area to the Main Hanger Deck, grab a ship and fly back to the Hub.  Grab the Droid and use it to return to the Bridge, and access the terminal at the front of the Bridge to engage the windscreen wipers (LOL).

Now take the droid all the way down to the Bacta Tank Compartment and use it on the Droid Terminal there to reveal another Red Brick -- this is the Minikit Detector -- purchase this for 750,000 Studs now!

Return to the Bridge and access the character selection screen on the console there, and change your active character to Wag Too -- who is a special "small" character who can thus pass through the low doors.  On the left side of the bridge is a door in pieces - smash the pieces then assemble the door and pass through it to reach the area on the left under the floor force field, where you will find the Red Brick that contains the Red Brick Detector -- purchase that for 125,000 Studs now!

You can also go down the door on the right side of the Bridge but all there is down there is Studs.  Your call.

Right, so you have made tremendous progress here in unlocking lots of content!  Good on ya!  There is still a bit more to be done of course, but that pretty much wraps up this visit to the Bridge!  Before we head off to the next mission though, we need to do a status check to make sure that you have everything you are supposed to have!

You should have 6/18 Red Bricks, 16.1% Game Completion, and 10/130 Gold Bricks

You should have the following characters unlocked:

Part 11: Count Dooku and the Weapons Factory

COUNT DOOKU
Chapter 5
WEAPONS FACTORY

The immense weapons factory masterminded by Count Dooku's henchmen, Geonosian warlord Poggle the Lesser, nears completion.  It threatens to unleash huge armies of battle droids and secret weapons to sway the balance of the Clone Wars.

Jedi Knight Anakin Sywalker and his Padawan Ahsuka are joined by Jedi Master Luminara Unduli with her Padawan Barriss Offee, to lead a Republic attack on the factory. . .

Damn the Torpedoes

-- Opening Act --

The level opens with a CS showing the fleet landing and the base camp for the expiditionary forces --  Ahsoka and Anakin spot the attacking droid force on the scanners, and battle ensues!

The first thing that you need to do is collect some studs so you can start building resources on the base pads -- so switch on the multiplier bricks if you have not done so already -- and go ahead and turn on the Minikit Detector as well...

Once you have the money begin building one of each type of Barrack so you deploy some troops to assist with the battle, then work through the buildings expanding your options and adding units to the force.  The fastest way to add the Studs you need is grab a speeder bike and simply ram the rocks and objects in the area and then ride over the Studs to collect them.

There is a console that you can build on the far right of the area, and then head once you have built up your forces and resources head over the land bridge and take out the first enemy base there -- which triggers a CS and puts you back on your side of the battlefield.

Head back over and take out another base to create a foothold, and then deploy your own buildings on it to add to the confusion!  Build a torpedo dispenser and use a speeder bike to destroy the nearby base in one blow, then construct a Barracks and a Minikit Dispenser, using a Clone Trooper to grab the Minikit that it dispenses!

Now just grab a nearby tank and arm it with torpedoes to quickly take out the remaining bases, triggering a CS and then rinse and repeat, establishing a toehold and deploying a torp dispenser, then taking out the enemy bases -- some of which will require three torpedo hits to destroy now.

Succeeding triggers another interesting CS, and then you find yourself on a narrow ledge on the side of the mountain, cutting your way through solid rock to get inside!

-- The Mountain Entrance --

Remember, we are here to take out the Factory -- and to do that we have to be lean, mean, fighting machines!  Yeah!  Err...  Anyway, cut your way in and then before you follow the Stud trail you should see that the Minikit Detector has some targets for you -- those things with the glowing red ball on top -- so destroy them as you encounter them and when you take out five, you score yourself another Minikit!  Yay!

Inside of some of the larger rocks are crystals worth a lot of Studs -- and on the walls inside the cavern is a nod to the Zelda games -- cool.  What you need to do is hit the door with the yellow triangles to knock the ones with the purple bases down, then use The Force to insert them into the slots on the door on the left, causing both doors to open!

Inside the door on the right is a room with droid console, but as we have no droid ATM we should head into the one on the left and grab another collection ball and then cut open a hole in the wall ahead to get a piece to unlock the door!

Smash the object on the wall to the left of the door for the second piece, and throw your light saber at the third piece on the door to the right to break it loose, then slot it to open the left hand door and pass through.

The 4thand 5th collection balls are in here so grab those and then the Kitpart that spawns.  You should be collecting massive amounts of Studs along the way as well -- always do that as you have lots to buy later!

Tanks for the Memories

-- The Upper Cavern --

It may not be very obvious to you but you need to smash all of the objects in the room here -- including the structures on the walls -- to harvest the pieces you need to build a large golden trampoline in that pool of light -- and once you have that build, bounce on up to the upper level where you get a nice CS and have you a battle!

The Gold vehicle in the room you cannot destroy with your sabers so do not bother trying -- but the five objects in the room that you can hit to turn into Force objects and then turn the wheels on will cause the vehicle to fire at the objects -- which are collection items -- so be sure to do that!

The strange way that they did the camera here makes this an especially awkward level section, but take your time and be patient and you will get through it!

That Gold vehicle is your key to completing this area -- you notice that there are some consoles that only the evil droids can use?  Yes, and there is a evil droid in the room!  Now, obviously you cannot simply ASK him to open the vent controls FOR you, right?  Ah, but you can knock his head off and wear it to fool the console into letting YOU do it!

The trick to this is to make your move when the Gold vehicle is not right on top of you.  You also need to clear out the enemy because if you get shot while wearing the droid head it gets knocked off and you have to start over.   So be quick, be good, get the job done!

Now that you have exposed the vents what is left is to hijack that Gold tank and use it to blow the core -- do that by targeting the flashing blue spots on it -- use your saber on the two side circles then throw your saber at the blue bar on top -- at which point you can now get in and shoot the core!

This triggers a CS of the core blowing and then you escaping -- quickly -- in the tank!  You almost land on top of your mates below -- and you complete the level, unlocking the Achievement "Tank 'n' Spank" (10 GP), 3 Minikit parts, 2 Gold Bricks, and a lot of Studs!  Good on ya mate!

You also unlock the characters Barriss Offee, Captain Rex and Luminara Unduli, well done!

Part 12: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 6

Congratulations mates, you have completed five of the six levels for the first of the three story paths for the game!  Our visit here will be brief, as we do not have a lot to do here at the moment.

Take the lift down to the hub level below and then pause as you exit -- see the flashing lights on the side of the lift tube?  Use The Force on that to plug the cable into the slot on that device, and it will cause a thingy to deploy on the main drive array. Smash the crates in the center and assemble the terminal there, and then hunt down the Workout Clone Trooper in the center area and buy them for 25,000 Studs.

Change to the Workout Clone Trooper and go back to the lift -- use their grapple to climb up to the main drive unit using the grapple-point you just deployed with The Force and that cable, and then walk around to the other side of the array to find the 6x Multiplier Red Brick!  Ah, but it requires 10 Million Studs to purchase...  Well, there is nothing for it -- head back to the Bridge and use the console to go to the Jedi Crash Mission, and farm the studs you need now -- I will wait for you, just hurry OK?

Back?  Excellent!  I hope you got extra Studs as there is more for us to buy coming up...

A few more characters and the x6 Brick!

Climb up to the platform above and purchase the Red Brick and then activate it, which now multiplies Stud value at 48 times normal.  To the right is a platform you can activate and grapple down for some extra Studs -- and now it is time to make a quick trip to the Hanger Decks.

-- Hanger Decks --

Fly over to the other ship and head to the left into the area we were at before to purcahse the Geonosian Guard for 15,000 Studs, and Bib Fortuna for 30,000 Studs.

Now fly back to the Hub and return to the Bridge, as it is time to finish up the first story-line of the game!

Now is a good time to do a save-and-quit to preserve your progress, then access the console!

Part 13: Count Dooku and the Legacy of Terror

COUNT DOOKU
Chapter 6
LEGACY OF TERROR

Following a tremendous victory on Geonosis, Jedi Masters Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luminara Unduli have been charged with the task of capturing Separatist leader Poggle the Lesser.

Their quarry has taken Luminara deeper into the desert. . .

-- Opening Act --

The level starts with a CS of the two Jedi Masters confronted by a sandstorm -- while Anakin and Obi-Wan stay with the ship Luminara explores the desert, locating a large set of ruins in which something suspicious is happening.  Luminara contacts Obi-Wan, but in the process is attacked -- and seeing this, Obi-Wan orders the ship moved closer to the ruins as the sandstorm intensifies.

If this area is a bit confusing to you that is understandable as there really is no indication as to what you are expected to do here...  So start by doing a saber-jump next to the wall with the colored bricks to knock them down, and then use The Force to move them to the side so you can see the purple base, and then stack them so that they give you access to the ledge above.

Take your Clone Commander up and grab the Kitpart that you unlocked by properly stacking the bricks -- then grapple the very obvious grapple-point, pulling the top off of the pillar, before walking out onto it.  Your weight will cause it to collapse, dropping the build parts to the ground, where you can assemble them onto the statue-thing on the far wall.

Now you see that squad of troopers?  Change to the Clone Commander again and approach them, pressing 'B' to command them, and order them to attack the three sections of rubble on the far right, which clears away the saber wall.  Change to a Jedi and climb the saber wall to the top, where you will push the statue there off the edge of the ledge, acquiring the remaining statue pieces needed to open the door in the back wall.

-- The Tunnel --

With the door open, zone into the tunnel and use a Trooper to grapple the spider web and rip it off of the wall, then proceed into the cave, ripping down webs and clearing away rubble to score some major Studs.

On the walls there are five statues that you need to destroy to score a Kitpart, and in the far back is a wall to grapple and pull down,  then head to the back and use a Jedi to cut open the wall there.  The yellow triangles on the walls can only be destroyed using a rapid-fire weapon or a group of clone troopers (if you are curious) and will be best done in Free Play later.

The fifth collection statue is inside here so smash that to get the Kitpart, then continue.  In the rear area smash up the objects on the floor and the three hanging from the ceiling, then build the statue for the parts you released on the pedestal here, one piece at a time, to open the door in the floor!

Battle of the White Worm

-- The Zombie Catacombs --

Zone down and you will find yourself facing zombies -- but you can pull down the pillars blocking the zombie generators on the left, and The Force to block the one on the right.  Doing this will cause the back wall to crumble, letting more zombies in but giving you a route to follow -- so head in there and hack, slash, shoot, and smash your way to the back, where you will find a Force Marker.

Use The Force on it, then smash away the rubble to reach the room where she is being held.  This triggers a CS, and then you face a boss mob.. err.. monster?  Either way you basically have to wait until the purple things drop from above, and use The Force to insert them into the wall on the right before you head up it and use the Force Spot there to strip-away the covering on the pillar before using The Force to knock it down.

It then begins tossing bombs at you -- so head to the Silver wall on the left so that the bombs blow it apart, revealing the saber wall that you then climb, use the Force Spot above, and take down the other pillar!

When the second pillar collapses a Jedi Spot appears on the ground -- and it begins throwing bombs at a faster rate.  Use the spot on the ground and then run like hell away, because theplace is coming down around your ears!  Just follow the Stud trail until you trigger the CS, and you will be ejected from the level, completing it!  Good on ya mate!

Finishing this level gives you two Gold Bricks, 2 Minikit Parts, and a bunch of Studs.  You also unlock the character Commander Cody for your efforts, and you have completed the story.

Select Finish Story for a CS of the end, and then the credits play for this first story-line of the game.  Well done!  Excellent job!  You are now one-third of the way through the game -- but only about a fifth through the contents.  Lots of work to do though, so be happy but determined, right?:

After the credits play you will be back at the hub!

Part 14: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 7

After the credits roll you need to head down to the Hanger Deck and fly to the other ship, where you will obtain the Geonosian Solar Sailer for 200K and then fly back to the hub!

Part 15:  Asajj Ventress and the Hidden Enemy

The next (second) story line we will do is the purple one, which is above Geonosis called Christophsis, and the first mission in this new line is called The Hidden Enemy.

ASAJJ VENTRESS
Chapter 1
THE HIDDEN ENEMY

The beautiful world of Christophsis is held under siege by a Separatist Droid Army.  Hoping to save lives and prevent further destruction, Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker have planned a daring ambush to turn the tide in their favour.

With just a small detachment of clone troopers, the Jedi prepare to spring their trap. . .

Ventriss: The sequence of defeat

-- Opening Act --

The CS shows the prepared trap -- but it seems that the droids are well aware of the plan, and spring a trap of their own!  First, in the read right side of this room there is a purple machine with a level -- pulling the lever causes a set of screens to drop down.  Using your saber, destroy the machine and then pull the lever and quickly destroy the screens when they drop down to score collection 1/10.

Destroy the rest of the items in the room to unlock True Jedi (nice one) and then stand on the Jedi Spot and hit 'X' to slice up the glass and use The Force to remove it, then change to the Clone Tropper and grapple across to send the platform over.  Change back to Anakin and step onto the platform to cross, and then slice the glass here and use The Force to destroy it!

A few things to do here -- in the rear left side is a cable and plug -- destroy the stuff here then use The Force to plug the cable into the slot on the left wall.  Keeping the droid population under control all the while, move to the left front and destroy the purple machine, lower the screens and destroy them to score collection item 2/10, and then   use The Force to close the door in the back wall, cutting off that entrance for the attacking droids.

After destroying the rest of the objects in this room, move through the door on the left wall, using The Force to close the left-hand door (the right one is broken) then mount the gun and blow away pretty much everything in the room!

Move to what is left of the purple machine and lower the screens to score collection 3/10, then use The Force to unplug the cable from the gun, and destroy the gun with The Force, blocking the second door and halting the droid attack stream.

Lead your men onto the lift in the center of the rear wall and ride it up to a new area.

-- Second Level --

There are all sorts of items to be destroyed, and Force Items you can hit with The Force to get Studs.  After you work your way through those, hit the two red switches on the deck to close the doors to the droid spawn points, eliminating the flow of attackers, then take out the remaining droids to clear the area and make it safer.

Basically there is a transport above that needs to land but it cannot as long as the two AA cannon are firing.  After you thin out the droids crush the objects in the center of the roof to reveal the parts with which you can construct your own cannon, then do so and use it to take out the two AA cannon on either side!

You will notice that among the larger number of attack droids is a different type that you can knock the head off of -- you need to do that and then wear the head to fool the terminal on the transport -- do that and it carries you off.  In the CS that plays you receive a message and then it lands and dumps you on another roof.

Ventriss: It's not the fall that kills you

-- Building Two --

First, use The Force to place the plate above the rear door, then smash the purple machine for collection item 4/10 and smash the rest of the stuff up here.  Use The Force on the other four plates on the two walls and place them in their spots by the rear door to open it, and head inside.

You now battle Ventriss -- and the trick to this is to do the saber jump to disarm her -- this knocks one of her two sabers out of her hands, making her vulnerable to attack.  Just pick up the dropped saber so you have two, and attack her, removing one of the hearts above her head.  Now rinse and repeat until you have defeated her.

At that point she goes to the top of the stairs and begins Force-throwing objects at you.  Just stand at the bottom of the stairs and use your Force to grab the objects and throw them at her!  Keep doing that until she panics and escapes.

Before you give chase, destroy the stuff here and score collection 5/10 on the upper right deck, and 6/10 on the upper left deck.

Now stop on the Jedi Spot and cut through the door to find her inside Dark Force Juggling.

Same deal as earlier -- disarm her by doing the Jedi Jump, then hitting her until she runs away and you chase after her down a corridor, where she smashes the floor collapsing it and thus isolating you from her, whereupon she starts Force tossing things at you.  This is not the same as before -- you do not want to toss the stuff back but rather use it to build a set of stairs going up to where she is!

Once you build the stairs she smashes the back wall and runs outside, then stands their doing her best Dr. Evil laugh until you approach, at which point she jumps off the roof and comes back with a large nasty attack droid monster thingie.

To defeat that you throw your saber at its lasers to put them out of commission, and then battling the other droids that appear, you wait for the Jedi Spots to appear and use them to slice off two of the legs of this beast.  After that, you jump onto it and it promptly falls off of this very tall building!

The basic strategy is simple -- throw an object at her with the force and then attack with your saber, jumping close and swiping at her.  Eventually you will get the hang of it -- but before you finish her off, make sure that you kill 10 of the droids to unlock a Kitpart.  With your final attack she falls, and then you escape, ending the mission!

You unlock two Gold Bricks, and the Achievement "The pleasure is all mine dear" (10 GP).

Part 16: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 8

Back at the Hub again!  This place is starting to feel like home!

Things are a bit different this time though, as we have enough Gold Bricks to unlock the next area!  So head towards the upper Hanger deck and turn right instead of left, build the door to the lift and then climb on!

New Characters and Vehicles

Buy the Lurmen Villager for 10,000 Studs, then Tee Watt Kaa for 15,000 Studs.  Finally buy Senator Kharrus for 20,000 Studs and that is the last of the characters for this area!

Now head over to the Vehicle Console in the center area and buy the following by ordering them up and then, when delivered, running to them and making the purchase!

AT-RT (50,000 Studs)

Part 17:  Asajj Ventress and the Ambush!

ASAJJ VENTRESS
Chapter 2
AMBUSH!

Master Yoda has been dispatched to Rugosa in order to convince the Toydarians to ally themselves with the Republic.  However, Asajj Ventris has learned of Yoda's mission, and has her own plans to force Toydarian King Katuunko into an alliance with the Separatists.

As Master Yoda's ship nears the small moon they find Separatist ships awaiting them. . .

-- Opening Act --

As the CS starts we see Yoda's ship under attack from Separatist Battleships, and it crash lands on the planet below, with the enemy instantly aware of its location.  Enemy forces close in and the ancient Jedi Master must defend himself!  Oh man, we get to play as Yoda!

With the x48 Stud multiplier collecting just the studs on the ground near the crashed ship is sufficient to unlock True Jedi -- cool -- so do that and then head towards the right along the obvious path, where you will quickly encounter more enemy units.

When you reach a point where there are five or more enemy on the screen at the same time, target at least five with your saber and throw it to unlock the Achievement "Saberang Master" (10 GP) -- you should be able to do this before you deal with the caves.

As you can see there are two caves from which the enemy is spawning -- and near each is a metal plant.   You likely have also noted that you have a variety of Clone Troopers with you, each having a different set of weapons -- and this is not a coincidence!

First change to the Trooper carrying the heavy machinegun, and use that to destroy the gold plant, and then use the parts from it to build a cap for the left cave, thus blocking it off.  Now change to the Trooper with the bazooka and target the silver plant by holding the aim button and highlighting it -- then fire to destroy it, and again use the pieces to block the right cave.

After you do this the wall of shells explodes and enemy come through the opening -- at the same time you notice a crab-like creature has appeared.  The crab is the collection item -- you need to kill five of them -- so kill it and keep an eye out for more...

Those pesky Droidikas!

-- Down the Path --

A little ways in you will see a pair of plants you can use The Force on to raise, releasing Studs.  Further along is a cave blocked by Gold plant parts -- use the heavy gunner to shoot that and trigger an amusing CS -- after Yoda saves the day you have some new enemy to crush and then have Master Yoda grab one of the Super Battle Droids and use its laser fire (when you Force Lift it it starts to fire like mad) to blow the cave open and destroy the Gold rocks around you.

Head through the cave to zone to the next area, where you will see a tank hovering below.  Use the Force Spot to have Master Yoda chop it into pieces -- you need to do that to three of the tanks in total.

For the next tank Force Grab the Battle Droid and shoot the two side pieces off of the tank to spawn the Jedi Spot, then use that to dismantle it.

For the last tank use a Trooper to grapple the side pieces off to spawn the Jedi Spot then have Yoda do his thing!

Some Droidika then appear -- be aware that the red-shielded ones cannot be hurt, so Force Push it into that crevasse.  The blue-shielded can be destroyed by saber, so do that and then clear out the rest of the droids and

You need to kill five Droidika to move on -- do accomplish this the fifth one will need to be Force Pushed to a spot under the rocks above, and then use the bazooka to drop them on it, killing it.  This triggers a CS and ends the mission!  Good on ya!

You unlock two more Gold Bricks, a bunch of Studs, and the Achievement  "Okay clankers, suck lasers!" (10 GP).  You unlock the characters Jek, Lieutenant Thire, Rys, and Yoda as well for a very nice set of rewards!

Part 18: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 9

This time it is a very short visit to the Hub, and it starts with a quick run down to the Hanger where we grab a ship over to the other side of the coin -- the evil Hub Battleship -- and we buy the  Super Battle Droid for 25,000 Studs, and a Battle Driod for 6,500 Studs, adding another droid character to our collection!

Now make just as quick a run back to the good side Hub, and head directly to the console and our next adventure!

Part 19: Asajj Ventress and the Blue Shadow Virus

ASAJJ VENTRESS
Chapter 3
THE BLIE SHADOW VIRUS

Senator Amidala and Representative Jar Jar Binks have returned to Naboo, investigating reports of Separatist activity on their home planet.

Amidala's faithful head of security, Captain Typho, hopes to extract crucial information from a captured TX-20 droid. . .

-- Opening Act --

If you happen to be a fan of the movies and animated series -- and you have played the Star Wars Galaxies MMO, the planet Naboo very likely holds a special place in your heart.  It is not just that Jar Jar's people come from there and are good for comic relief -- it is the fact that Naboo is a rich, green, and attractive world in a section of the galaxy that is not known for rich, green, and attractive worlds.  When I first played SWG it was Naboo that I settled on, Naboo where I build my house, and it was Naboo's Security Force that I joined to earn my pilot's wings.

While the Naboo in this game is rich, green, and attractive, you should see the one in SWG.  Seriously.

Any-who, the CS that starts the mission shows us the captured droid being examined with the hopes of obtaining the secrets it holds -- but no success until Jar Jar somehow gets it to dish!  Based upon the data an investigation is launched that quickly goes sideways with the team being captured.  Fortunately they manage to send a distress signal, and Anakin and Company respond in force.

When you regain control over your characters you are somewhere deep in the Naboo woods, and mind the water now because you cannot swim!  There are enemy droids nearby and you almost instantly go into combat -- the same alarms that got the first team caught will sound when they detect you -- but you do not intend to be caught, right?

When the alarm mast pops up kill it as it is the collection item for this level -- and you need to get five of them!  There are a lot of destroyable veggies here with lots of Studs -- you cannot do anything about the Dark Force items or the Gold head for now -- those are for Free Play -- so follow the path, taking out the remaining alarm masts (they are close together) and scoring a Kitpart!  Good on ya!

Use your Clone Trooper to attach a bomb to the access panel and then once it is destroyed jump down the hole that opens behind where it was, and you find yourself in combat!

-- Down Below --

Use The Force on the panel to the right and then destroy the grate there, before using The Force to close the gates and block the droid spawns on either side ahead.  You will need to fight all of the droids in the process, and work your way forward all the while.

The next set of grates are closed by your Trooper using grapple, and as you move ahead you get to experience the multi-screen feature of the game now!  That's right, by holding down 'Y' you can switch to the other team in the picture-in-picture display, which allows you to have them help you and work in dual strategies.  Pretty cool, eh?

Now as soon as you switch, get on the door gun and take out the shield generators and then blow open that section so you can drop in, then fight your way forward to where that big heavy object is hanging from the ceiling and pull the pins on it to drop it through the floor and on top of the pair of Droidika that have your mates pinned down.  Excellent!

Now drop down the hole to meet up with them, and build the console so your Trooper can use it to open the door.  Head inside and grapple the lift plate loose, have one Jedi stand on it while the other raises it, then switch to the Jedi above and use the Jedi Spot to the right to cut open the wall and smash the objects inside with your saber.

This triggers a CS, and then you are back in combat again, where you use The Force to close the two gates on the spawn points.  Another Droidika appears ahead -- it has the red shield so a direct attack will not work.   Instead Force Throw one of the barrels on the left at it to drop its shield then slice and dice it with your saber once the shield is down.

Another pair of Driodika appear ahead -- but you know how to deal with them now, so smash their shields and kill them with your saber, then look around down the other points of this junction...  You cannot go straight as you need a Protocol Droid to open that door, you do not want to retreat, so the right branch is the way!

Use your saber on the Jedi Spot to cut open the door, and gain access to the Mad Doctor's Lab!

An Apple Today Keeps the Doctor...

-- Dr. Nuvo Vindi --

The Doc has your mates and is doing unspeakable things to them!  Head in and defeat his droids and then throw objects at him with Force Throw until he is defeated!  On his way to having an escape he shoots your Clone Trooper in a dastardly attack -- but it turns out not to have actually been a shot shot if you see what I mean?   Obi-Wan is pissed off and orders the Trooper to blow, and he sadly does.

Now you are joined by Jar Jar, and as he has high-jump ability he can jump up and throw the switch and thus open the hatch for you!  Zone out and catch up with the Doc -- but then he runs again -- and shuts the door behind him...

Using Jar Jar jump on to the ledge ahead and stand on the switch there -- he is joined by one of your mates and thus the doors are opened, but only for as long as they stand on the switches.  Use 'Y' to switch to Obi and battle your way along the hall through the other door, and then you are prompted to switch back to Jar Jar.

Running forward into the room with the plants, you should shoot them until you scare out the Doc's droid -- the one that helped him escape a few minutes ago -- and start beating on it until you basically destroy most of the plants and it opens the door ahead.  Now follow it in to that room where it spawns a bunch of Battle Droids, which you should avoid/ignore while you keep trying to kill him -- until you DO kill him, thus gaining the parts you need to build the object that will let you use the switch to leave!

You are then forced to switch back to Obi's team, and you cut through the door and  jump onto the huge lift, where you dodge droids and throw objects back at the Doc until you take out his hearts, at which point you knock him cold and capture him, which should end the level but no, he tosses the virus into the air and you all rush to catch it, but the distraction does not all him an escape!

This does end the level, and you unlock the Achievement "Oops, what happened?" (10 GP) as well as your two Gold Bricks, a bunch of Studs and a Kitpart.

Part 20: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 10

A pair of droids and a Dark Red Brick

Our last visit to the Hub was rather brief, but this one will be a lot longer because there is more for us to do this time...  So, to get started, why don't you save-and-quit to preserve your current status, yes?

Head down the lift and enter the top Hanger deck where you will find Captain Typho (10,000 Studs) and Queen Neeyutnee (30,000 Studs) and then head down to the lower Hanger Deck and fly over to the evil Hub ship, where you head to the far left and build the door there and enter the lift to the Engine Room.

Use the Dark Force on the object floating above the console to reveal the Dark Side Red Brick which you purchase for 150,000 Studs, and then purchase the Battle Droid Commander for 10,000 Studs.  Next buy the Gonk Droid for 3,000  Studs.

That nicely wraps up what we needed to do over there so fly back to the Hub and head for the Bridge now, and our next adventure!

Part 21: Asajj Ventress and the Storm over Ryloth

ASAJJ VENTRESS
Chapter 4
STORM OVER RYLOTH

As ordered by Ventress, vile Separatist leader Wat Tambor has invaded the Twi'lek home world of Ryloth.  While his droid army plunders the planet of its treasure, his fleet of ships have formed a blockade in orbit around Ryloth to prevent any relief getting to the starving civilians.

The Republic responded by sending Admiral Yularen with Jedi Generals Kenobi and Skywalker to break the blockade and defeat Tambor. . .

Taking out the Battleships

-- Opening Act --

The opening CS shows the fleet arriving over the planet and being attacked, but still able to launch a ground offensive as it one Battleship goes down in flames.

You take control of Anakin's fighter as it approaches the worst of the blockade, -- you can use the booster engines to get past the clustered gun platform fire and to the upper part of the battlefield but you really should not as that is not where your supposed to go...  If you did just find another set of boosters and go back down -- that is what they do, sort of serve as a switch to take you to the different areas.

-- Right Rear Pad --

The first pad we land on is the one on the right side towards the back, where we cut open the wall at the Jedi Spot and plug the power cable into the slot we revealed doing that.  This causes the nearby hatch to open, and we go inside!

Inside we find the turret controls for the right side of the ship and, using them, take out the three white turrets on the ship across from us, thereby destroying it!  Good for us!

Now head back outside and get in your fighter and take off!

-- Left Rear Pad --

Land on the pad on the other side and basically do exactly what we just did, but over here, but this time assemble the switch, then throw it and plug in the cable to open the door -- the rest is the same.  We get a nice CS of the ship exploding this time too!

When you are done get back in your ship and take off!

Use the booster to head up to the top side and land above the Bridge, then run down the ramp through the hole in the top and pull the switch to engage the drive system to move the ship -- this results in two new enemy coming in along side, so go back out and boost down and use the turrets on each side to disable the new enemy ships!

Once you have done that head back out and fly to the front of the ship, landing on the pad towards the front of the ship on its right side top, you immediately come under attack by enemy forces -- and while you are here and it being convenient and all, as there is a never ending supply of Battle Droids this is a good place for you to pick up the Achievement "UH OH!" (10 GP) that you get for picking up a Battle Droid with The Force and using it to kill 50 other droids.

The Battle Droids re-spawn fast enough so that it will not take you long at all to unlock this -- and as it is not a cumulative Achievement (you have to do it all in one sitting) as I say, this is a good place to get it.  Once you have it, then you should  power up the torpedo dispenser and then launch your fighter and scoop up some torpedoes, and then launch them at the markers on the two ships.

After you take the two out the arrow points you back above to the bridge so head there now, and then flip the other switch, causing the Battleship to ram the enemy carrier, destroying it and triggering the CS that ends the mission!

You unlock the Achievement "You can have my ship" (10 GP) and you unlock Anakin's Jedi Starighter, and the V-19 Torrent Starfighter.  You also unlock 2 more Gold Bricks!

Part 22: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 11

This is just a brief stop to save-and-quit and then you hit the console to select our next adventure!  You really are coming along well here -- you have more than half of the total story line in the bag mates!  So go ahead and pat your back, five yourself a beer... Root Beer I mean... and a snackie!

Part 23: Asajj Ventress and the Innocents of Ryloth

ASAJJ VENTRESS
Chapter 5
INNOCENTS OF RYLOTH

Thanks to the bravery and ingenuity of Anakin Skywalker, the Separatist blockade of Ryloth has been broken.  However, Separatist proton cannon batteries on the planet's surface still prevents the Republic army from landing.

It falls to General  Obi-Wan Kenobi to clear these obstacles and create a safe landing area for the liberating clone army. . .

-- Opening Act --

The CS depicts the enemy preparing to defend the planet -- while persistent clone troops make their beachhead landings!  When you can control you are on the low ground, and the enemy is above on the high ground -- and there is nothing for it but to attack!

Take control of your Troopers and have them concentrate their fire on the pillars to smash the one on the right, and then fully open the channel that is carved into the rock face.  Using your Jedi powers Force Push the bomb on the ground up the channel to the gun above and let it detonate, then repeat until the gun is destroyed

Now use your bazooka Trooper on the left-hand column and take the gun above out in the same way!  With that done, destroy the containers in the center of the area and assemble the cannon from the parts you obtain doing so.  Use the cannon to blow open the wall and have you an entrance!

Stay on the cannon and take out the wave of Droidika and Battle Droids that advance through the opening, and then jump off and head in with your troops, then fight your way to the air drop station and fix the antenna to call in reinforcements!

It takes a Village

-- Clearing the Village --

As you work your way through  in the walker clearing the village pay particular attention to the pink-topped flowers as they are the collection item in this level.   Ahead at the end of the road is a large gate that you can open by fixing it and having two of your troopers grapple it -- but this releases some wild animals that you now need to pen up!

Subdue them by hitting them then ride them to the pen and put them in -- when you have taken care of all five, the gate will open again.  Before you go in, make sure that you have collected the Minikit part fo the pink topped plants and the greenish boxes (that is two Minikit Parts total), and any Studs you plan to collect, and then go in!

Throw the switches when you enter, then bust open the first cell and use The Force to turn the three ruby values to get a Minikit Part -- then go through the second cell to the end and cut open the wall to get the crate out -- blasting the silver boulder with your bazooka to get it out of the way.

Repair the path and then Force Push the crate all the way to the end and have a Trooper use the console to open the door in back.

Capture the regular cannon to destroy the Silver cannon, then destroy the shield generator and use a cannon to blow off the Silver armor on the tank that is immobilizing the people in the center area.  Once you get the armor off, use your Jedi on the Jedi Spot in front of the tank to destroy the tanks beam generator.

This triggers a CS of the people escaping, and then the level ends!  Good on ya!  You just scored two more Gold Bricks, 3 Minikit Parts, a bunch of Studs, and the characters Boil and Waxer!

Part 24: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 12

There is nothing really for us to do at the moment -- just save the game and then load up and head for the next -- and final -- adventure for this story line!  So let's do that now!

Part 25: Asajj Ventress and the Liberty on Ryloth

ASAJJ VENTRESS
Chapter 6
LIBERTY ON RYLOTH

Separatist forces under the command of Wat Tambor still occupy the planet of Ryloth, but Republic victory is at hand!

Jedi General Mace Windu leads Republic forces to liberate the Twi'lek capital city of Lessu. . .

-- Opening Act --

The CS that starts this level -- the 6th and final level of the second story line -- and as we watch the panic in the eyes of the enemy the Trooper's unload all sorts of Trooper stuff that they will use to make war now that the blockade has been broken and they can properly be supplied.

We begin on a battlefield that is being shelled by enemy artillery -- and the need to establish our own base of operations -- which means it is time to turn on the Multiplier (if it is not already on) and collect the studs that we will need to build our buildings!

The trail of blue studs nearby is just enough to score us True Jedi, so grab those and the little plant near them (collection item 1/5) before riding yoru Speeder around to collect more studs and Plant Collection 2/5, ROck Collection 1/10 and 2/10, and a Minikit part that is partially concealed by the rocks along the edge in back.  That is everything that we can get on our side of the battlefield -- everything else is on the enemy side -- so finish getting s decent amount of Studs then start constructing war buildings.

With your base fully built it is time to take the fight to the enemy and establish a toe-hold in their territory!  So head over and say Hello!

-- Attack on the Advance --

The first thing you will need to do is take out that tower that is vaporizing any troops that try to cross the narrow land bridge that connects the two battlefields -- do that with the cannon you built closest to it.  With that destroyed, head across and destroy the cannon at the base site closest to the bridge.  Now deploy the three types of air support you can here.  Once they are build move to the next base (between you and the one that is protected by shields) take out the cannon there.

It is basic strategy time -- once you have control of two base sites on the other side you need to deploy a shield on each and then head back to your base to remove a Barracks and a Cannon, replacing them with shields so that you can deploy them to your forward bases -- a Barracks at the first, and Cannon at the second.  With that done you are in a much better strategic position.

Use a mobile cannon unit to take out the Silver Cannon and the air pad on the next base and then deploy a regular cannon, a shield generator, and one of the new type units you can deploy, and you should finally be able to deploy the Minikit Dispenser building -- so do that and grab you a Minikit Piece!

Right so at this point you are ready to push into the third battlefield -- so head over there to raise some hell why don't you?

I'm walking on Sunshine

-- Third Battlefield --

Taking the two remaining unshielded bases on this section gives you control to place the special building on the gold pad with the arrow pointed at it -- do that!  Now that last shielded base has to be taken so we can place another one of these special buildings!

So head over and shut off the shield generator and then with it shut down, move a cannon on the closest pad of the nearby base and destroy the enemy cannon and shield generator so you can deploy the special building!

With that accomplished you have restored power to the light bridge, and you can now grab a mobile cannon and blow down the gates to the main facility -- so do that now!

-- The Inner Sanctum --

Inside you get a brief CS of the leader of the Separatist forces -- who it appears is trying to escape with his treasure -- and his two bodyguard Battle Droids.  There is really nothing left for you to do, as it is all resolved in the CS -- but you get to unlock the Achievement "Liberation!" (10 GP) and you have the satisfaction of knowing you did a good job for the people of Ryloth.  That and you also get lots of Studs, two more Gold Bricks, some Minikit Parts, and the character Commander Ponds!

That wraps up the second story line very nicely!

Part 26: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 13

After the last level ends and you add up all of your gains, you get a brief CS showing how it all resolves and then you get the credits for that story line.  After that you head back to the Hub!

Welcome home!  As we have just finished wrapping up a story line we will need to do our standard Status Check, but before we get to that, I want to talk to you about the cheat codes that are in the Appendix of this guide...  At this stage in the game you are probably thinking about using some of them -- there are so may levels you have completed, and the temptation to head back in Free Play Mode on some will be very strong.

The thing is, you are 2/3 the way through the story, so try to resist the urge to do that -- as once we have completed the third story-line we will be revisiting ALL of the levels we have completed and more!  So be patient a little while longer -- or not :)

Invincibility and a new Cast of Characters

Before we do the whole Status Check thing there are some items we need to get -- so head down to the Main Hanger Deck and access the ship console there to purchase the Republic Dropship (Rapid Fire) for 50,000 Studs.

Fly across to the enemy Hub and complete the Gold Brick Build there to gain access to the large transport in the hanger, which you then can enter to reach the vehicle selection console for this evil hub!  Be sure that you change characters to Count Dooku BEFORE you go inside this newly built access point.

Inside you will purchase the following characters: TX-20 for 50,000 Studs, Gold Super Battle Droid for 30,000 Studs, Neimoidian for 20,000 Studs, LEP Servant Droid for 6,000 Studs, and the Undead Geonosian for 10,000 Studs.  You will also purchase Red Brick 04 Invincibility for 1,000,000 Studs,

After you finish off all of this head back to the hanger and purchase the Trident Assault Craft (Missiles Torpedoes) for 200,000 Studs and then fly back to the Good Hub and make your way to the Bridge there to do a save-and-quit.

-- The Status Check --

Part 27: General Grievous and the Duel of the Droids

GENERAL GRIEVOUS
Chapter 1
DUEL OF THE DROIDS

Anakin's faithful astromech droid R2-D2 has been captured and delivered to General Grievous, who intends to extract secrete military information from the droids memory.  Assisted by his Padawan Ahsoka  and a replacement droid, R3-S6, Anakin leads a mission to destroy the Separatist base where R2-D2 is being held.

Together with a small detachment of clone troopers, the Jedi launch their attack on Grievous' secret base. . .

-- Opening Act --

Planting Bombs

We begin the third and final story-line with a CS depicting the rescue team approaching the base, and "dropping in" -- some with better effect than others, but hey, at least the replacement droid provided a way into the base, right?

Inside the force splits into two groups, each with their own part to play in the mission -- and we almost immediately end up in combat (go figure?).

The first order of business is to obtain the Gold Battle Droid from the storage pod on the left side of the hallway and set it loose to blow things up.  The first area contains plenty of Studs to unlock True Jedi straigt away, so we may as well do that just to be done with it.  Then switch to the R3 Droid and use the console here to open the hatch.

Inside are some droids to kill and a console that your bomb-carrying Clone Trooper can use to place his bomb.  Excellent, you have half the current mission requirements completed already!

With that done, go to the right of the large hole in the floor here and smash the crates to get the parts you need to make a grapple-point, then have your Trooper grapple that and pull it out to call the lift.  Climb on and place the next device to shut down the force field that was blocking your path, and continue on past the mouse droid.

Use the left or right force points to engage a Battle Droid and then pick it up using The Force and use its rapid-fire gun to break the items in the area ahead, including the Gold collection item (2/5).  Kill it and the one you did not use, then use The Force on the left of the main room to raise the power module.  Go ahead and clear out the corridor ahead before you use the Jedi Spot here to cut open the controls and have your Trooper grapple the lift up so he can place another device on its console.

Switch to R3 and open the hatch, then use your Jedi to plug in the cable and your Trooper to place another bomb.  With that managed, head up the corridor to the droid spot and open the hatch to reveal a red-shield Droidika.

You cannot kill this using your saber or blaster, and you have nothing to throw at it -- but if you look above you will see that there is a grapple point there!  Use that to crush the Droidika with debris, then go in with your Trooper and use the console here to place another bomb, shutting down the force field and completing the third of our present tasks!  Excellent!

Grab a droid off of the wall and use it to destroy the Gold collection box, and throw it at the lift controls to smash them as well.  Take care of the other wall droids and smash pretty much everything that you can for Studs, then grab the Kitpart in the main area.

-- The Third Lift --

Use The Force to raise the lift control and your Trooper to grapple it, then your Jedi to kill the pair of regular-shield Droidika on it, before having your Trooper plant his device on the lift.

Open the hatch with your R3 and use the force to crush whatever that is inside by pulling the object on the ceiling down onto it.    Plant another bomb and you have half of our current goals met!

Clear away the objects in the corridor, taking special care to smash what you can as there are three different collection elements to this level.  The Gold Super Battle Droids are one, so after you assemble the second one and notice that the third is a Dark Force object, this is a great time to try out your Dark Force Red Brick!  Do that and you score your third Gold Super Battle Droid!  Good on ya!  You are assembling quite the team mate.

Using the Droid console closes the one hatch but opens the two others -- so let's start with the left-hand corridor -- clear that including the Dark Force Spots, and then have your Trooper place his bomb before you backtrack to the right-hand corridor and do pretty much the same.

Placing the final bomb causes your R3 unit to go a little nuts -- and then you have an encounter with the Gerneral and a split screen view of the different teams.

A General Battle

-- Battling General Grievous --

First, understand that you cannot take him in a one-to-one saber battle.  Oh, you can get him to the point that his sabers go off, but those hearts you are looking at are armored hearts, so unless you have a cannon in your pocket, you ain't hurting him!

The trick to this is to use the crates in the room on him -- Force throw them -- and when his RED hearts appear, hit him with your saber!  After you do that three times he jumps up where you cannot reach him, and at that point you should assemble the pieces of the Gold Super Battle Droid on the purple pad and wait while it blows away the Gold Box that is sitting on the Jedi spot there.

With that now accessible, stand on it and hit 'X' to hit him one more time before he gets pushed into that area behind a now locked and blocked door!  Using the force, pick up the bomb-thingy and stick it to the lock on that door for good measure, and then you are prompted to change to the other team by holding down 'Y' until it cycles.  Do that now.

-- Anakin's Team --

You know the drill by now -- kill the droids, smash the objects, use The Force on the Force spots.  At the end of the corridor is a Jedi Spot that allows you to cut through and open the armored hatch -- do that and then battle the next pair of uber droids before you assemble the device on the left side and short out power to another area.

Now grab all of the bits and assemble R2-D2 and add him to your party!

Use your Dark Force powers to remove the Minikit parts from the locker here and assemble it to add another Minikit Part to your collection!  Nice one!

Now use R2 on the data console to detonate all of the bombs you planted, and open the exit hatch!  Ecit through the now open hatch on the left for a CS, and watch R2 do battle with the evil R3, as your team reforms!

Now you get to use R2 to pursue and battle the evil R3, first using the Droid spot to go up the lift and flying across to engage it then using another Droid spot.

Switch back to your Jedi and use the Battle Droids to destroy the large ones by throwing them at them, and then you can either use your Dark Force power to pull up the parts ot a saucer, or your regular Force power to get the parts for a starfighter -- or both, what the heck!

Using the Vulture Droid walker shoot the metal boxes to reveal the parts for a torpedo generator -- you getting the picture here?  That is right -- use the starfighter you just made to grab some torpedoes and destroy the barrier that is preventing R2 from giving R3 the ass-whipping it so richly deserves!

Switch back to R2 now, and get with the whipping!

After you take out the attacking droids you jump into your starfighter and grab some torpedoes, then take out the bridge that R2 is fighting on.  You will then need to fly over and rescue R2 -- but that is cake compared to the long mission you just finished, right?

The mission ends here with a funny CS -- and you unlock the characters  R2-D2 and R3-S6 as a result, along with two more Gold Bricks, 2 Minikit Parts and a lot of Studs!  You also unlock the Achievement "Follow me boys!" (10 GP)  Woohoo!

Part 28: General Grievous and the Shadow of Malevolence

GENERAL GRIEVOUS
Chapter 2
SHADOW OF MALEVOLENCE

Suspecting that General Grievous will attack the Kaliida Shoals Medical Center in his seemingly invincible ship, The Malevolence, Anakin Skywalker plans a daring ambush.

Accompanied by Master Plo Koon in his Jedi starfighter, Anakin leads Shadow Squadron and their Y-Wings in a bold mission to disable the Separatist warship before it can bring its deadly ion cannon to bear on the Medical Centre. . .

-- Opening Act --

The CS shows Anakin and the squadron arriving at the battle site, and then you take control of Plo Koon in his starfighter in the upper area above the battle.  As there is nothing for you to do here, take the nearby booster down to the lower area, and land on the pad that the arrow is pointing at.

Run over to the blinking switch to turn on the torpedo dispenser -- on the way you will pick up enough Studs to unlock True Jedi!  With the torpedoes available why not get the annoying bit out of the way first?

Torpedo Run

Grab some torpedoes and then boost to the upper level and target the torpedo spots here, taking out all three and quite literally blowing the top off of the ship, exposing a landing pad and a torpedo dispenser that is blocked by a shield.  Do not bother landing here yet -- instead head back down and use the torpedoes on the targets below, then rearm and head back up and hit the targets there.

Keep doing that until you have destroyed all of the targets above and blown away most of the top of the ship!

You will know you got them all when the target on the main drive activates -- then simply go down and hit that to end the mission -- unlocking the character Plo Koon and his starfighter!  You also unlock two Gold Bricks and the Achievement "Torpedoes Away!" (10 GP).  We will come back here in Free Play Mode of course, but we have accomplished what we needed to for now.

Part 29: General Grievous and Destroy Malevolence

GENERAL GRIEVOUS
Chapter 3
DESTROY MALEVOLENCE

Republic strike forces are on the verge of complete victory over General Grievous and his stricken ship, The Malevolence.

However, Padme Amidala and her protocol droid C-3PO are about to become unwitting bargaining chips for the devious Separatists. . .

-- Opening Act --

In the opening CS Padme and C-3PO are flying through space and end up getting caught by the tractor beam of the General's ship.  They have effectively been captured, but not before sending out a distress signal which Anakin and Obi-Wan receive.

You begin the level with a brief droid battle, whereupon you should easily obtain enough Studs by picking them up and breaking things as you work your way to the end of the corridor and zone to the next area.

Climb down and use R2 to fly over the gap and trigger the console, briefly pausing the train and allowing you to use the train car as a way to get across the tracks to the middle platform, where you basically do the same thing to get to the next area, except this time R2 cannot cross on his own, so you need to Force Lift him over there.

On the pad R2 needs to step on the switch to open it up and then use the console to pause the train.

Force Move the bridge section to the glowing pad then jump across and saber throw at the droids by the other platform to lower it and kill them.  Now jump across and kill the droids waiting for you, then Force Push R2 to the switch platform and have him use the console there to stop the train.

This time it is a little different -- you use The Force on the engine to turn it into a crane, then get in the crane and use that to move the rear car to form a bridge that allows you to cross the gap!  On the other side, yes, more droids to kill, and then you zone into a new corridor and rescue the princess!  Yes Mario the Princess IS in this castle!

Putting out the fire

You split up now -- and you and R2 are in a burning area and you need to repair the fire control system so that R2 can turn it on to use it to put out the fire.  Here is the thing -- there are three pieces of purple pipe and FOUR spots they could fit into but one of the spots -- the one to the left rear -- cannot actually be used.  You will drive yourself nuts trying to get a piece into it so don't!

Place the pieces in the left, right, and TOP slots, and then have R2 turn on the water.  This puts out the fire, and you are prompted to change to the other team -- before you do that you may as well collect the studs down the corridor, right?

-- Team Anakin --

After you change over you find that Padme and Anakin are in much the same predicament that you were when this started -- so work your way down the corridor to the left smashing crates until you reveal a grapple slot -- then use The Force to install it on the console and have Padme grapple it to open the console and have C-3PO open the hatch using a simple puzzle solution.

Now kill the Droidika and then you get a CS and a Vulture smashes through the side glass of the corridor, forcing a team change.  As Obi-Wan take out the Vulture and then use the parts from it to assemble the droid console and have R2 close the blast doors.  Safe at last!

Use The Force to plug in the power cable and then have R2 line up the color-coded lock parts using the two consoles by the hatch to open it.  Now head in and kill the droids here then throw the objects at the droids on the far platform to remove them from the equation.

There is a Dark Force object (collectible) you can destroy -- but you should concentrate on getting R2 to that far pad, where he will turn on the torpedo dispenser.  Now use the objects to kill the droids on the right side pad and send R2 there, where he will turn on another torpedo dispenser.

Using Force Push, send the torpedoes to their targets, cutting power to the area, allowing R2 to use the console in the center and and triggering a visit from our good buddy the General!

-- Grievous Battle 2 --

Basically what you are going to be doing here is hitting him with an object and battling the Droidikas until you can throw the switches on the sides to open the rear hatch in the area.  Once you have the rear hatch open go inside with R2 and both of you step on the switches to open the final hatch... And then leave.

This was never about battling and defeating him, it is just about getting to your destination -- so do that mate!

As you enter the lift in the back it goes down and you change teams again!

A complicated lock picking exercise

-- Back to Team Annie --

Head down the corridor to the closed hatch and have Padme grapple open the kit locker -- not using The Force, plug the colored plug thingies in on the right side in the same color pattern as those on the left, and this will activate the droid spot for C-3PO to use.  Be sure to grab the Minikit part here before you have 3PO open the door.

Inside is a lift -- use it -- and you find yourself in a red-lit area and battling droids again :)

After you clear them away, have 3PO use the console to raise the thingy in the center, and then have Padme grapple open the plug locker, then you cut open the wall and plug the power in to that slot, then repeat that on the other side and you now have restored power to the systems.

All that is left is for you to use The Force on the helm control object in the center and align the ship with the planet on the center screen -- you will know that you have done this properly because the center screen will lock and then wave after wave of droids will attack.  Defeat them, then exit the Bridge by the left-hand door!

You now trigger a CS in which all are together again, you escape, and the ship slams into the planet.  Sadly the General escapes as well but what can you do?

You unlock C-3PO, two Gold Blocks, a bunch of Studs, a Minikit Part, and the Achievement "Abandon ship!" (10 GP).

Part 30: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 16

OK things are a little different this time at the Hub.  Instead of heading for the next mission, we have some stuff to do first.

Right, so head to the Main Hanger Deck and take a ship across to the evil hub, then head to the right-hand side of the main deck and access the console here, and make the following purchases:

H-Type Nubian Yacht (50,000 Studs)
Medical Frigate (Torpedoes) (50,000 Studs)
Y-Wing Starfighter (50,000 Studs)

A new Cast of Characters and Ships

Now fly out of the ship and engage the Mission Start object to begin the Space Mission and hit the objects flying in space to get the required number of Studs and win yourself a Gold Brick!  Goo on ya!

Now land on the Evil Hub, change to Count Dooku (or another evil character) and purchase the Destroyer Droid (Droidika) for 40,000 Studs.  You have to be an evil character to purchase evil characters in case you wonder why you needed to change...

Now move to the right-hand side of the main hanger area and assemble the door here, entering the lift.  buying Asajj Ventress for 250,000 Studs, then head hack to the main hanger area.  Do not bother with the Mission Terminal here -- we will be doing those later.

Grab a ship and return to the Good Hub, head for the Bridge, and start the next mission!

Part 31: General Grievous and the Lair of Grievous

GENERAL GRIEVOUS
Chapter 4
LAIR OF GRIEVOUS

Viceroy Nute Gunray, on route to Coruscant to face trial for his many war crimes, has made a daring getaway in a stolen Republic frigate.  Jedi Master Kit Fisto has skillfully tracked the ship to the remote Vassek System.

On the mist-shrouded third moon, Master Kit Fisto ans arranged to meet his former Padawan Nahdar Vebb.  Together, they plan to apprehend the villainous viceroy. . .

An exercise in teamwork

-- Opening Act --

The CS starts with Fisto landing on a Clone Trooper -- no worries though, they will make more!  As you start this level go ahead and destroy pretty much everything that you see -- and you quickly unlock True Jedi.

Use The Force on the objects here and then use the Bazooka Trooper to destroy the Silver pillar on the right.  Switch to the Antennae Trooper and grab the squad by the shuttle and order them to attack the Gold pillar on the left, destroying that, causing a droid to come out and destroy the shuttle!

Kill the pair of droids (one on either side) then use Troopers to grapple the grapple-points, and then use The Force on the to move the yellow panels on top of the red ones of the same shape, and the door will open.

Using The Force, move the plates onto the pedestals in the lava pit to make it safe to cross -- use The Force to pull the segments from the pillar-like objects and then destroy them to collect them.  Use The Force to place the plates on the next pit, and cross, battle the droids, and then grab another collection item.

Battle the droids ahead for a CS, and then grab a few more collectibles.  Use The Force to plug in the power cables to open the hatch, and pass through.

You pretty much destroy everything here while killing the droids that spawn, and once you have destroyed everything you can and collected the Studs, use grapple to pull the droid parts out of the containers and then use The Force to assemble them on the hatch front.

After you assemble the droid General Grievous appears, and you have yourself a battle!

-- General Grievous Battle 3 --

This battle is a little different than the previous ones in that you are going to be tag-teaming him to do it...  Basically you beat on him with your saber and then throw the box of grapple points at him.  One of them will stick to him, at which point you quickly switch to a Trooper and grapple it, ripping off one of his limbs.  Rinse and repeat until he freaks and starts climbing on the cieling.

At this point you do three saber throws and he falls to the ground and starts scuttling around -- you hit him a few more times and he scuttles out the door.

Follow him to zone into the next corridor, where you smash some stuff, then you use the four switches to nearly get your team roasted alive.  Use the pieces to build a way up and put, and then zone to the next area where there are a lot of high-value Studs.

You are attacked by a nasty beast now, and as you will note that it has grapple-points, the trick is to use those with your two Troopers and then use a Jedi to take away a piece of the beast.  Rinse and repeat until you defeat it and get a rather funny CS of the General taking his medicine.

You now zone and face some more droids -- taking out the last two collection points to score a Minikit part -- and then proceed along the corridor to the outside.

Unplug the power and move the generator to the end of the path, then plug in the power to the left hand unit, then the right, then left -- now sure what that accomplished but when you Force Move the thing on top of the left to the one on the right you get a Minikit part!

Now assemble the parts and move the device to the top of the left hand machine, then move the dish on to it and plug it all in, and the signal is sent your droid to bring you your starfighter!  It also makes the General appear -- so you will have to fight him off until your starfighter arrives, and they make your escape!

You unlock the characters Commander Fil, Heavy Weapons Clone Trooper, and Nahdar Vebb, two Gold Blocks, two Kitparts, and a bunch of Studs, as well as the Achievement "R6 take me home" (10 GP)!

Part 32: General Grievous and the Rookies

GENERAL GRIEVOUS
Chapter 5
ROOKIES

A tracking station on the remote Rishi Moon, operated by a crew of clone troopers fresh out of  training, is the Republic’s first line of defense against Separatist invasion in the area.

Commander Cody and Captain Rex are on their way to carry out a routine inspection of the base -- but things are not always as they seem . . .

-- Opening Act --

As the mission opens we see that the enemy is aware of the inspection and is making planes of its own -- including a special droid attack group that is waiting for the officers to land.  The base has been compromised, this is clear.

As you take command of the Commander and Captain they are under attack by Ninja Droids -- Eek!

Your transport gets destroyed by the Ninja but you manage to fight them off, then build a platform from the wrecked pieces and grapple your way down!  The base is in flames and, oh yes, a giant worm beast has attacked and you must now defeat it.  Man this would be a good job for a Jedi Knight, that is all I am saying!

The turn of the worm

When the beast comes out with the hearts over its head it can be hurt, otherwise it is an idea to dodge it until it has hearts.  Eventually it will smash through the back of the area leaving building parts in its wake that you can use to construct a bridge, and move to the other side of the area where you can continue to shoot the beast.

Now that you have it down to just a pair of hearts, change to the Bazooka Trooper and use them to deliver the final two killing blows, and once it is dead, pick up any Studs on the ground before you build a bridge literally over its dead body and climb up.

Step on the switch to open the access panel and shoot the machine inside, then change to the rapid-fire Trooper to blow away the Gold section and swing across the gap using your grapple.  Use the rapid-fire gun to blow away the blockage and enter the cave to zone to the next area.

-- The Platform --

On the platform kill the Ninja Droids and then use the bazooka to blow up the crate, constructing the console from the wreckage before knocking the head off of the remaining droid and wearing that to fool the console into opening the doors.  Now head inside and you will then battle your way through two groups of Ninja until you get a CS of the troops below.

You come up with a plan -- not a very good one but a plan nonetheless -- and you split into two groups.  Each has a goal -- and the goal of the rapid-fire gunner is to take out the Gold crates and the like down that corridor!

To make this happen you must get the droid population under control, so literally battle your way to the spawn point killing them all then run back to the gold boxes and stand right next to them to shoot them to destruction quickly.  Rinse and repeat until you have them all destroyed, then get in the brown crate and ride it up to the place you entered from, onto the plate there and through the door once the force field drops.  Once inside you are prompted to switch to the other team -- so do that!

Getting your explosives lined up

-- Team Two --

Start shooting stuff until you uncover the building parts, then construct the switch and throw it to open the doors -- and battle your way along that corridor, and clear out the bad guys.  Use the grapple-point to open the door, kill the occupants of the back area and ride the crate outside to one of the pads there and park it!

Now head up the stairs and push the power unit into the receiver then throw the second switch, opening the second door -- head in killing the droids there and use the bazooka to blast away the gate blocking access to the back of the area.  Ride the second crate out and onto a pad, which shuts down the force field blocking your partner and his crate off.

Now ride the third crate onto its pad and you trigger a CS in which you run end up doing a suicide move but the move works -- the base is destroyed and the bad guys lose.

The fleet shows up and runs off the enemy fleet, and the mission ends!

You unlock the characters Echo, Fives, and Hevy, two Gold Bricks, a large amount of Studs, and the Achievements "We really said no prisoners" (10 GP) for destroying 100 Droids with the chain-gun, and "Not so tough now are ya Sparky?" (10 GP) for completing the level Rookies.

Part 33: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 18

Back at the Hub before you start the next -- and the last -- mission of the game, head down to the Hanger Deck and purchase Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter (50,000 Studs) and the Republic Attack Shuttle (50,000 Studs) and then return to teh Bridge and purchase the Clone Pilot for 15,000 Studs.

A new Pilot and Two Ships

That covers the new stuff that you can purchase at this point, and hey, you have filled in a lot of the open character slots in the collection!  Good on ya!

Save for a few characters we will unlock in the next mission, the lion's share of the remaining ones are as you read this floating in the Bacta Tanks below the Medical Bay, waiting for you to complete the Minikit collections!  No worries there mates, we will not keep them waiting long, but before we can really do anything for them, we have one last mission to complete!

So what do you say?  Are you ready to do it?  Yeah?  Excellent!

Part 34: General Grievous and Grievous Intrigue

GENERAL GRIEVOUS
Chapter 6
GRIEVOUS INTRIGUE

Returning from a routine patrol, Jedi Master Eeth Koth is unaware that General Grievous has selected him to act as bait to lure Obi-Wan Kenobi into a face-to-face confrontation.

Now, Eeth Koth must overcome Grievous' MagnaGuards and alert Obi-Wan to the danger ahead. . .

-- Opening Act --

The ship is attacked and as the CS plays out it becomes obvious that not all Clone Troopers are the brave and resourceful warriors we expect -- and it can be hard to enjoy an undisturbed cup of tea in this universe!

As you take control of Koth, you hear the enemy trying to break down the blast door, and you fight off wave after wave of the more powerful and dangerous droids before the General himself shows up!

Now, you have been here before -- you know you need to hit him with an object to get the red hearts, then use your saber.  When you get him down to one heart though, you get taken prisoner because that is how the script reads, Bubbah!

The General sends a challenge to Obi-Wan who, naturally, comes running along with Anakin and company to save the day!

-- The Two Party System --

Anakin is leading Party 1, Obi Party 2 -- and you start out playing as Annie.

By now you know the drill -- smash everything to collect Studs and unlock True Jedi to start, battling your way up the long corridor.  As you smash objects you will reveal valve wheels that you insert into the steam pipes (these are collection items) so pay attention to those as you go, right?

Use the Jedi Spot to reveal a third power globe thingy -- it should not take you long to figure out that you need to destroy the three before any can reset -- the best way being to stand close enough to target the pair on the right with a single saber throw, then saber slash the one in the wall -- easy-peasy lemon-squeezy!

The force field is not down and you can continue up the corridor from here, and when you get to the top clear out the enemy and smash up the crates, and then Force hold a Battle Droid to blow away the Gold crate to reveal more power globes.

Use The Force to move reveal the third globe and then take them out, head on to the Bridge and use the droid head to trick the console into releasing Koth, at which point you change teams!

The Epic Grievous Battle

-- Team Obi-Wan --

The General shows up and you have another battle, throwing a create to get the red hearts, at which point DO NOT attack him!  Instead, pick him up with The Force and throw him into a wall to damage him.  Simply rinse and repeat until he is down to one heart at which point he will run away.

You use Jedi Spots to carve through the doors taking out any droids you encounter until you finally catch up with him, for the final battle!

To complete this battle you have to change characters as he can only be damaged by attacking him from behind.  This is a little tricky, but you will get the hang of it -- it is all about rhythm and timing.

Once you take out his last heart he tries to crawl away, and you end up trapped on a ledge.  You are then prompted to change teams again.  Do that.

-- Pilot in Command --

You find yourself outside in a starfighter with the battle fierce around you.  Land on the nearby pad and  go to the window ahead and slash it then use The Force to break it open.  Carve open the wall and smash the circuits inside, then change back to Obi and saber toss the yellow panel to complete the last platform, then climb out of the pit and chase after the General.

Follow the path out and repair and turn on the torpedo dispenser, then switch back to Annie and use the dispenser to arm his fighter, taking out the four targets and then landing to pick up the rest of the crew.

That completes the story, unlocking the characters Eeth Koth and Adi Gallia, as well as the Jedi Shuttle.  You also unlock two Gold Bricks, and a large amount of Studs -- and the Achievement "We live to fight another day" (10 GP)!

You did not have the satisfaction of putting the General to death, but hey, good job on finishing the story!  Now there is a lot still for us to do -- this is not the end!

The end CS shows the battleship blowing up, and the General spinning off into space, and then the credits roll!

Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 18

This is but a brief visit to the Bridge before we move on to the very last bits of the story -- first an epilogue that is entitled "The Zillo Beast" that we find on the map at the confluence of all of the stories.

Part 35: The Zillo Beast

EPILOGUE
THE ZILLO BEAST

Countless Separatist droids have invaded the planet of Malastare, home of the bizarrely-evolved Dug population.

The Republic sees an opportunity to test their new bomb, intended to destroy droids while leaving allied forces unharmed . . .

-- Opening Act --

The CS opens with the team getting ready to test the bomb -- and as this is another base expansion mission your first order of business is to get Studs!

Once you have the Studs simply begin the building process, taking over bases as you max out the ones you have, until you can build the Minikit Dispenser, which means you have completed the process of upgrading buildings!

When the Tanks come Rolling In

Now take over the rest of the bases and when you take the last base deploy the special building on the gold pad to test the bomb!

This triggers another CS in which you do battle with the Zillo Beast -- enjoy!

OK If you did not figure it out, you need to build one cannon on each of the base sites, which will then unlock the tank building -- then you need to build as many of those as it will allow, and then take control of one of the tanks and fire at the Gold collar around its neck until it blows up, killing the beast.

Doing so unlocks two Gold Bricks, a Kitpart and a lot of Studs!  It also unlocks the Achievement "Zillo Tolerance" (10 GP).

Part 36: Resolute Battleship Hub Visit 19

Well, good on ya mates!  You have almost completed the full story-line of the game -- minus the two special missions which actually do count -- and while we are about to do those, at the moment there are a few minor tasks that we need to do, and then there is the Status Check to be ticked off.

First, take the lift down to the hub level below and purchase Sionver Boll for 25,000 Studs, then buy R6-H5 for another 25,000 Studs.  In the Jail area plug in the power cable and release the prisoner by throwing a switch -- they will be killed/disappear and can then be found on the Evil Hub -- we will get to that in a bit.  Head back to the Bridge and approach the console.

From the start menu we want to unlock the character Robonino – so enter the code 2KLW5R -- then access the console and change to that character and head back to the jail now.  Return to the Bridge and change to TX-20, then return to the jail and open another door, freeing a prisoner!  You will have set loose all but one of the cells -- the fifth cell is not yet occupied so no worries on that for now.

Now head over to the Evil Hub and buy Wat Tambor for 50,000 Studs, Heavy Super Battle Droid for 25,000 Studs, General Grievous for 250,000 Studs, Poggle the Lesser for 60,000 Studs, and Lok Durd for 50,000 Studs.

Head to the ship console on the Hanger Deck and purchase Soulless One (Rapid Fire) for 200,000 Studs.

Now head to the Bridge (the door on the right of the Main Hanger area) and use the mission terminal to select Castle of Doom to get the first of the pair of extra missions completed!

Part 37: Castle of Doom

CASTLE OF DOOM

Treachery!  In an attempt to sway the powerful Hutt Clan towards the Separatist cause, Count Dooku has abducted Rotta, the infant son of Jabba the Hutt, and blamed the Jedi for this villainous act.

However, news now reaches him that Anakin and Ahsoka have rescued Rotta and are trying to reunite the lost child with his father.

MagnaGuard starfighters force the Jedi to crash land in the desert wastes, but they are still alive.  Dooku must quickly stop them to ensure that his deception is not unmasked. . .

Escaping Jabba's Castle

-- Opening Act --

As you can see the opening CS shows a mixed bag of issues -- Dooku is naturally nervous because he has orchestrated the kidnapping of a child whose father is the most powerful crime boss in the galaxy and who will, should the deception be uncovered, do more than just kill Dooku.

Anakin and his Padawan have the child -- and Jabba is convinced that Dooku has the right of it -- Dooku clearly must act! Turn on your score multipliers to quickly gain True Jedi, then head to the right and smash the broken door consoles then rebuild them and use your companion to open the door and head inside.

Using your Dark Force powers you can move the object on the table to the pad just under the control console nearby, but that will cause the workers in the room to attack -- but you need to kill them anyway in order to spawn the next group -- and item -- that you will stack on the first one.  Do that a third time, and you have built a platform that will allow you companion to interface with the controls of the console, and thus open the nearby door, allowing you to continue your adventure!

After you collect what Studs you can by smashing the objects in the room, zone through the door and in the next area, you have a series of tasks to perform.

First have the Count throw the switch on the right, and his companion interface with the terminal on the right, and a speeder will crash into the broken vehicle on the left, providing you with parts.

Use those parts to repair the side of the vehicle, then smash up the workbench here and use the parts from that to continue the repairs.

See that cage hanging from the ceiling nearby over the tracks that would let you move to the barge if it were not hanging from the ceiling?  Yeah, saber throw it to knock it down, then push it until it locks into the open pad and explodes, providing the final pieces that you need to repair the barge!  Finish the repair job and then plug in the power cable to the console and have your companion use it.

The barge now slides to the center of the room, and you can mount it and then use it to smash through the obstacles ahead and get outside, triggering a CS.

-- Inside the Bastion --

Now that you are outside, first smash the nearby bone object for collectible 1/10 and then use the Jedi Spot to carve through the cliff and get the parts to build the speeder here -- and build the speeder!  Run around collecting studs and collection items for a bit, and you will notice a pile of wreckage on the rocks to the left.  Smash it to get the parts to build a skiff, then park that near the gate and move the speeder next to it -- you are going to need them both shortly to get out of here!

Head to the purple pad and smash the objects on the left stacked on the rocks then assemble them into a set of steps and your companion go up and use the console to reveal a pair of switches that you now park your two vehicles on top of!  The gate now opens and you zone out to the Desert!

-- In the Desert --

Your two vehicles are here waiting for you -- so ride them to the right where you find the crashed ship.  Smash the debris off of the console and have your companion use it and then use The Force to tear the read hatch open releasing the two Jedi Knights -- and you now kick their butts!

The strategy you use here is to beat on the Padawan to disarm her and remove a heart, then pick up her dropped saber and attack Anakin now that his hearts are exposed.  Rinse and repeat until you have them both beaten into submission, and trigger a CS on which you win but lose.

This ends the mission -- and unlocks the Achievement "What a Rotta!" (10 GP) and the character Magnaguard (if you do not already have it), the MagnaGuard Starfighter, and two Gold Bricks.  You also get some Studs of course.

With this mission managed, head back to the Main Hanger area and cross it to the left heading to the other mission terminal.

Part 38: Hostage Crisis

HOSTAGE CRISIS

The disgusting gangster Ziro the Hutt has commissioned Bounty Hunter Cad Bane to secure his release from prison.

Leading a band of deadly criminals, Bane intends to launch a brazen attack on the Senate Building on Coruscant, then trade the Senators' freedom for that of the Hutt. . .

-- Opening Act --

When you enter the room with the terminal, pause to purchase the Gamorrean Guard for 40,000 Studs, and then head over to the console and use it to begin the mission.

The CS for this mission starts with Bane presenting the plan to his gang, and then a long view of the Senate and the immediate targets of this attack -- the blue-armored Senate Guards.

One Shot, One Kill - Sniper!

You begin as Aurra Sing, who has a Sniper Rifle and is in  a fetch being piloted by HELIOS-3D.

Hold down the aiming button (X) and target the guards through the scope until you eliminate the required number, and then after you take out the last you get a CS of the team rejoining, and more guards approach.

Slay the guards until you have a helmet for each of your crew and put them on, unlocking the Achievement "Blending in" (10 GP), and then use your explosives to blow up the sliver pipes on either side of the door, and assemble the consoles, using your crew to unlock and open the door.

-- Inside the Senate --

Clear out the guards in this first area and wear a helmet to fool the console to get the next door open, and then go inside and smash the objects in the back to get the parts to repair the pipe system in the back. To get all of the pieces you need to bounce on the beds as well as smash stuff -- but once you have it all repaired,  head out and continue along the path,

Enter the next room and smash everything up -- blowing up what you cannot smash -- then construct the junction boxes in the back.  Now quickly push the four junction boxes in so that all are lit at the same time, restoring power, and then continue on the path.

Open the next door and then, using Robino (the electric one) access the panel on the right and then push the generator to the lock-plate on the other side, then use the center console which deploys the object in the center of the room. Now zone through the open door in the rear and confront the Senators in the chamber here, triggering a CS in which you make your demand and get upir way.

The Hutt is released and then you lay a trap for the Senators and make your escape -- right into the hands of the Clone Troopers.  You make your threat and they give in, and you fly off to freedom!

Completing this mission unlocks the characters Aurra Sing, Shahan Alama, HELIOS-3D, IG-86, and Commando Droid.  It also unlocks two more Gold Bricks and a lot of Studs, and the Achievements "Sure, as long as I get paid" (10 GP), and "Jedi Master" (70 GP) for unlocking True Jedi in every level!

Part 39: Separatist Battleship Hub Visit 20

This officially wraps up the story-lines, ending that part of the game.  What is left is the optional stuff -- which is to say completing the Minikit Part collections to unlock all of the characters.  You actually have a choice you can make -- you can choose to use the cheat codes to unlock the characters -- but why do that?  After all, you still need to get the Minikit Parts and the Red and Gold Bricks to work towards 100% completion, so why not do it the normal way?

Make your decision and then, when you are ready, the guide continues with the information you need to reach 100% completion!

The stage on the back wall of the compartment that we are in right now is our next destination -- you will see that Jabba the Hutt is there on the stage once the curtain opens.  Stand on the pad here to initiate the Bounty Hunter Mission Menu.

The Tracking Down and Capture of R2-D2

Bounty Hunter Missions

The Bounty Hunter Missions are simple time-limited quests that can be flagged from Jabba the Hut on the stage in the far left hand compartment of the Evil Hub Battleship.  Simply step on the pad in front of the stage, select your mission, and go!

The way that these missions work is simple -- you only have the time shown below to complete them, and to complete them all that you need to do is locate the target and stand next to them.  So for instance, in Mission 1, you need to locate R2-D2.  There are only so many places that they can be but to help you out, we tell you below!

Your reward for completing each of these is a Gold Brick -- and as you unlock more Gold Bricks you will unlock additional ships/vehicles, but be aware that you get those for the Gold Bricks and not for completing these missions.

MISSION 01: R2-D2 (00:59)
Use the door console to the immediate left of the starting location, then use the crawling door to pass to the hidden area.  R2 is all the way to the right here!

MISSION 02: Yoda (02:59)
Hidden behind the purple plant to the left of the final tank in the rear most part of the canyon.

MISSION 03: Padme Amidala (01:29)
She is located in the back of the Cantina -- run along the corridor taking the left hand fork, use a droid to get through the door at the end and then enter the first door on the right to get into the Cantina.

MISSION 04: Anakin Skywalker (01:59)
Run up the corridor to the zone point, then use the first two droid spots to stop the trains, then use the Bounty Hunter's jets to cross the gap instead of trying to place the platform.  Once on the far platform, run towards the camera to locate Anakin and capture him.

MISSION 05: Captain Rex (00:59)
Change to the Bounty Hunter and immediately toss a grenade to the wreckage ahead, then construct the grapple point and climb down.  When you reach the ground, jet pack to the left and capture him past where the worm holes are.

MISSION 06: Plo Koon (00:59)
Immediately boost down to the lower level and land at the pad, then run towards the escape pod that is on a platform.  He is in the far right corner on the deck below the platform in the corner.

MISSION 07: Aayla Secura
Immediately fly to the right with the booster button pressed and fly behind the burning top-section of the burning battleship causing the top section to explode and a landing pad to be available.  Land on the pad and run towards the back right and you will find her standing there.

MISSION 08: Obi-Wan Kenobi
Quickly fly to the front of the battleship and land on the pad on the right side of the front section, then run to the crawl door and crawl through, and run to the back of the room to capture him!

MISSION 09: Ahsoka (02:59)
Not sure why they gave so much time for this one -- she is standing on the rocks literally behind your back as the mission starts near the glowing green spot!

MISSION 10: Kit Fisto (00:59)
This is one of the tougher ones if only because you get shot a lot...  As a Bounty Hunter character run up the hall, jet packing over the gaps, to the big room at the end, then jet pack over the left hand gap, and use a droid on the console there, then go inside and you will find her waiting for you there!

Organa Get You, Sucker!

MISSION 11: Bail Organa (02:59)
To do this one you either have to wait until after we unlock Bail Organa or you need to enter the cheat code to unlock her now.  Since we are in the process of doing these here, now, I went with the cheat code myself so I would not have to return to do this – the code for Bail Organa is GEHX6C -- and once you enter that code the Mission is instantly available!

This should be familiar -- we just did this extra mission a little while ago -- so open the first door just like in the mission, go in and smash the stuff and bounce on the beds to get the parts, and then fix the conduit.  Now head next door, open the door, and go in and you will find her waiting here for you.

MISSION 12: Waxer (01:59)
This is probably the one mission of them all that gives the most trouble, but only because it is not an obvious path...  Unlike the previous missions the target is not in the open, he is in the box at the top of the Silver Pillar on the left.

The easy way to do this is to change to Bane, pop a grenade at the bottom of the pillar, then after it blows, do another to blow up the next section up, and then jump onto the rock on the left, then jump and turn on your jet pack, get right next to the wall and what is left of the pillar, and throw a grenade so it detonates immediately, taking out the last section and causing the box on top to fall to the ground, smashing open and releasing Waxer.  Now just land and capture him!

MISSION 13: Commander Cody (00:29)
Simply run to the right a little and then towards the camera out on to the metal deck that runs along the outside edge of the roof.  He is standing there waiting for you.

MISSION 14: Commander Ponds
This is wicked easy -- just run all the way to the back of the tunnel and look behind the pillars along the right wall until you find him!

MISSION 15: Luminara Unduli
This one is really easy -- just run all the way through the cave to the pile of rubble, break it and run through to the next section and run past the droid spot and zone into the next area, and there she is in the back of the room.

MISSION 16: Eeth Koth
This is not obvious -- basically you need to run to turn to face the camera, looking at the glass literally in front of you -- you do not even take a single step mind you, just turn to face the camera and throw four grenades, which instantly explode.  The fourth grenade will blow up and Koth will just materialize behind you -- all you do after he appears is take two steps and mission over!

After you capture him and the time remaining turns to Studs, you unlock the Achievements "Isn't negotiation the Jedi way?" (20 GP).

-- Odds and Ends --

Now that we have the two extra missions and the Bounty Hunter Missions completed, you just need to run back up the hall to the Main Hanger and move to the ship console, where you order The Halo (Rapid Fire) and then pay the 200,000 Stud sticker price to own it!

Now move to the far right side and enter the lift to the Bridge, and use the Bounty Hunter character to lob a grenade at the Silver object in the center of the Bridge to destroy it, revealing the x8 Multiplier Red Brick, which you purchase for 20,000,000 Studs!

Turning that Brick on in the Extras Menu boosts the overall multiplier to x384 Score!  So you may as well do that now :)

Head back to the Hanger Deck and take a ship back to the Good Hub, then land and access the ship console here to purchase the ARC-170 Starfighter (Rapid Fire) for 50,000 Studs, then the Jedi Shuttle for another 50,000 Studs.

On the way to the Medical Bay in the upper Hanger walkway buy Senator Philo for 30,000 Studs, and Senate Commando for 25,000 Studs, and then at the Medical Bay pay 6,000 Studs to purchase the MSE-6 Mouse Droid.

Head to the Bridge now, where you purcase the blue-armored Senate Commando (Captain) character for 25,000 Studs, and the alien character Onaconda Farr for another 25,000 Studs.

This completes the post-story wrapping up phase of game play!

Part 41: Cleaning Up the Red Bricks

Let us get started here in cleaning up the Red Bricks before we get to the rest of the clean up process, shall we?

Obtaining the x10 Multiplier

Head down the lift from the Bridge and pause by the lift and chop up the crates in the center there, and build the Console, then go to the Bridge and grab an electric character and come back and charge up that console, then use The Force to pull off the top of the protuberance to reveal the x10 Red Brick!  Purchase that for 40,000,000 Studs, adding it to your Red Brick Collection!

Now return to the Bridge and change to the Rapid Fire Trooper and come back down, use a Force character to plug in the power cable to the left of the lift and deploy the grapple-point, then use the Rapid Fire Trooper to climb up.  At the top step on the button to move the scaffold out, then target the Gold fitting on the wall and destroy it.

Now run to the door that leads to the Bacta Tanks and Medical area and you will see two more of these objects -- one above and one on the left wall.  Destroy them, then head to the right side of the room and destroy the 4th one, and that will cause the Stud Magnet Red Brick to spawn back by the lift to the Bridge.  Go purchase that for 500,000 Studs now, adding it to your Red Brick Collection!

Now head all the way to the right as far as you can go to the Turret Control Compartment, and you will see a speed bag hanging on the right-hand wall.  Punch it five times to reveal the Fast Build Red Brick, which you purchase for 500,000 Studs!

Now - IF YOU HAVE UNLOCKED THE GROUND ASSAULT MISSIONS -- and unlocked and played the Naboo mission, you will have a prisoner in the 5th cell of the Brig.  If you have not, head to the Vehicle Compartment (the right lift on the way to the Main Hanger) and spawn a tank, then shoot the Silver Lock on the read compartment and go inside.

You have now unlocked one of the missing main menu options -- Republic Assault.  Use that to select Naboo, and complete that mission by simply destroying all of the enemy bases in the time allowed.  Your best approach is to take the AT-TE in with you and destroy everything except the Gold buildings, which it cannot destroy.  Then switch to a Laser Tank and destroy those, winning the match.

Head back to the Bridge and grab Robonino and a Jedi, head down to the Brig area, and in the back of each cell smash the panel and use the force to turn on the valve -- use The Force on the switch above the 5th cell now that it is occupied, then use TX-20 to open it, and buy Nute Gunray for 50,000 Studs.

Now go inside the last cell and purchase the Character Studs Red Brick for 100,000 Studs.  This will also unlock the Achievement "The dark side I sense in you: (50 GP) for releasing all of the villains from the Resolute Brig.

Head to the Bridge and get Jar Jar and a Bazooka Trooper, then head to the Bacta Tank Compartment and, using Jar Jar, jump on to a tank and then up to the balcony above, head all the way to the right and smash the crate with the parts in it.  Construct the grapple-point, and bring the Bazooka Trooper up, then have him shoot the Silver Crate, revealing the Super Speeders Red Brick that you purchase for 40,000,000 Studs.  Now aren't you happy you were using the Stud multiplier bricks?

That just leaves Red Brick 1, and Red Brick 15 for us to collect.

Obtaining the Super Saber Cut

Grab a Sniper Character and head to the catwalk above the Main Hanger area and shoot the three green targets in the distance using your Sniper Rifle.  The Super Saber Cut Red Brick will then appear on the catwalk, which you purchase for 300,000 Studs!

Now head down to the Hanger and take a ship to the enemy Hub to get Red Brick 1.

Raise the access bridges on the right side of the hanger and then use the vehicle console to grab the Ice Cream Truck, and drive it all the way to the right onto the pressure plate there, opening the hatch to the right, inside of which is a giant Silver trophy.  Demo the trophy to reveal the Perfect Deflect Red Brick, which you buy for 100,000 Studs.

You have now completed the Red Brick Collection, and unlocked the Achievement "Cheat!" (70 GP) for doing this.  Good job mate!  Now we are ready to do a proper clean-up on the rest of the missions!

Part 42: Geonosian Arena Clean Up

Enter the Arena Mission via Free Play, choosing whatever character you like as your main.  Turn on the Multiplier Bricks, Invincibility Brick, and the Dark Force Brick at bare minimum.

(1) Use the Dark Force on the pillar twice to open the grapple points, then grapple and pull both to pull down the pillar, revealing a Minikit Part.  Take the Minikit Part.

(2) Stack the pillar slices up on the purple pad with a slight off-set so you can get to the top, then jump to grab this Minikit Part.

(3) On the left side of the Arena is a gated cave entrance with a Bounty Hunter Spot -- this is actually the Arena Gym -- use a droid to open the gate and go in.  Use a Bounty Hunter on the three treadmills here to destroy them, and obtain a Minikit Part.

Obtaining the 4th Minikit Part

(4) On the wall in the Gym is a Gold Object -- use the Rapid Fire Trooper to destroy it.  Now go outside and destroy the other four Gold Objects (two on the left wall, two on the right) to release a Minikit Part.

(5) On the seat areas above the Arena are green flashing rubber ducks -- using a sniper character shoot them all to collect a Minikit Part.

(6) On the right side of the Arena is a spot that you use the electric droid on (the one with the glowing punji stick) to activate, turning on an electric corral.  You need to Force-Push all of the Droidika into it to collect a Minikit Part.

(7) When you shoot the Gold Objects from the earlier one above that are on the right side of the Arena the parts for a Protocol Droid are dropped -- assemble it to get another Minikit Part.

(8) Use the crawl door in the back wall to access the Minikit Part above on the top of the wall.

(9) Around the edge of the Arena are sandboxes with plant seeds in them -- push the seed into the sand to grow the plant, and then use The Force to move it to the planter beside the sandbox.  Do that for all five to unlock a Minikit Part.

That should complete the Minikit Collection for this level.  If it does not, that means you did not smash the fruit stands that are along the inside edge of the Arena floor -- so just go ahead and destroy those now, and you have the 10th Minikit Part!

Save and exit to the Hub now, and when you arrive there, head to the Bridge to get a Bazooka Trooper and a Sith Character (Count Dooku works), then head to the Medical Bay, destroying everything here with the Bazooka Trooper to reveal the Glow in the Dark Red Brick which costs 25,000 Studs.  Purchase that now.

Head down into the Bacta Tank Chamber after you do that and locate the Tank for the Arena Level and step on the plate there, and select Release Character to release Darth Sidious (Classic) and then purchase him with Count Dooku for 275,000 Studs!

Part 43: Count Dooku Story Line Clean Up

To make this process more orderly the six missions for each story line are grouped into a single section, with the idea being to jump from mission to mission.  The order of the Kitparts is purely random to the process of discovery; you can do them in any order you like.

-- Mission 1 -- Battle of Geonosis --

If you have followed the guide you already have two of the Minikit Parts for this level -- when there are already Minikit Parts obtained in a level the guide will cover the remaining kits first, and then the ones that were already obtained at the end of the section just as it did in the Arena level, just in case you did not unlock the ones that I did when you played the Story Mode.  If you already have some that I did not get, no worries.

Be sure to turn on the Multiplier Bricks and Invincibility at a minumum.

(1) In the lower left corner there is a Bounty Hunter Console -- use that to start a timer with 01:30 on it -- and then quickly kill 50 Battle Droids to unlock this Minikit Part!  The fastest way to do this is to jump on the nearby Speeder and use its guns to kill them.

(2) In the upper-right corner is a building with a Droid Console -- use that and a Minikit Part will pop out of the roof for you to grab.

(3) In the upper-left corner of the battlefield is a pile of parts that you build into a Droid Console, then use it to summon the delivery of a sports car.  A ring of Blue Studs appears around the console area -- jump in the sports car and collect the Studs to spawn a Minikit Part, and then collect that!

(4) Behind the rocks on the left-hand side of the Battlefield is a small-crawl door -- use that to reach a hidden area that has one of the boulders you have to smash for another collection -- and a slope with switches.  Smash the boulder and then slide down the slope, closing all of the switches to spawn a Minikit Part!

(5) On the far right-hand side is a Droid Console that summons a lit path of pads that you need to race over with a Speeder -- just follow the lights to unlock the Minikit part at the end of the course.

(6) After you smashed the collection rock in the hidden area, you then need to smash the rest of them on the Battlefield to unlock another Minikit Part.

(7) In the upper left-hand corner is a Dark Force Rock that you smash to obtain a Minikit Part.

(8) Collect five tree-like plants that are all on the Battlefield (the hardest one to find is the one in the bottom on a ledge that pokes out over what looks like the edge.

That should get you the full set -- if you did not collect the Minikit Part that is on the bottom-left edge of the Battlefield partly concealed by the rocks get that, and if you did not kill three of the Big Wheel droid thingies, do that!

Now quit-and-save and head to the Bacta Tank compartment and step on the third pad from the left in the first row to release Princess Leia (Classic) for 50,000 Studs!

While you are down on this level head to the Brig with a Bounty Hunter Character and release Dr. Nuvo Vindi from his cell, and buy him for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 2: Gungan General --

You should have three of the Minikit Parts for this level already...

(1) In the bottom-left is a building with a Droid Console -- use that to get the Minikit Part from the roof!

(2) Nearby is a Dark Force Rock you can smash to get a Minikit.

(3) In the upper-left is a Bounty Hunter Console you use to get a Minikit.

(4) At the top are three geyser vent holes you need to quickly cap to spawn a Minikit.

(5) On the far-right is a Bounty Hunter Console that spawns a lit path you need to ride one of the beasts over the pads on to spawn a Minikit Part at the end!

Saucy for a Minikit Part

(6) Nearby the console above are building parts to build a Droid Console you can use to summon a Pirate Saucer, which you then use to pick up a trail of nearby Blue Studs for a Minikit Part.

(7) Use the Rapid Fire Trooper on the bottom Torpedo Dispensor to blow it up and reveal a pit with the last Minikit Part in it!

If you have not already, destroy five enemy Speeders to spawn a Minikit, destroy the ten tree-like plants to spawn a Minikit Part, and pick up the Minikit Part that is just sitting there on the Battlefield.

Now save-and-quit, and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment to release Admiral Ackbar (Classic) from the last tank on the right of the first row, and pay 50,000 Studs to purchase him.

-- Mission 3: Jedi Crash --

You should have one of the Minikit Parts for here already...  To make this level a little easier turn on the Minikit Detector Brick now.

(1) Land at the farthest flaming landing pad and run into the corridor in the side of the ship and use the Rapid Fire Trooper to unblock the crawl door, crawl through and grab the Minikit.

(2) Land at the next pad to the left and use the Rapid Fire Trooper to destroy the three Gold Toilet Stalls in the back of the pad area.

(3) Land at the first pad and go inside the area and grab the Minikit in the flames in the back of this area.  Use the Bazooka Trooper to blast the pipe above to put out the fire first.

(4) Shoot down five saucers to unlock a Minikit Part.

(5) This one is a major pain in the butt -- the ship in the far left has three Gold balls on either side of its hanger -- explode them to reveal a Minikit Part that you can then collect.

(6) You need to be using one of the enemy ships to do this -- at the rear of the ship from #5 is a glowing red panel that you need to shoot off.  I used the Xanadu and it worked great.

(7) Put out the three fires and then land on the ship that grabs the other ship in its tractor beam, and use the Rapid Fire Trooper to destroy the Gold box on its landing pad.  Construct the grapple point and lower yourself to the ledge below, and grab the Minikit here.

(8) Probe Droid Massacre -- at each of the landing pads there is a Gold Crate that contains a Probe Droid -- destroy the crates and then the Droids to unlock a Minikit Part.

(9) After freeing the ship from the tractor beam land in the landing bay and use Jar Jar to high-jump and grab the Minikit in the corner on top of the building roof.

If you have not already done so, destroy the five flying probe thingies to unlock a Minikit Part!

Now quit-and-save and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment where you will release Obi-Wan Kenobi (Classic) from the 2nd Tank from the left in row 2 for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 4: Defenders of Peace --

You should have three of the ten Minikits -- or not -- but you do if you were following this guide.  So we have seven to unlock!

(1) In the second area on the left is a Droid Console that you activate a timer with, giving you 01:29 to kill 50 enemy droids.  Grab a Speeder and run-and-gun the droids.

(2) In the top-right corner is a Dark Force Rock that you destroy to obtain a Minikit Part.

(3) On the far right is an Electric Console that you charge to deploy a grapple point -- then grapple it to obtain a Minikit Part.

(4) On the lower-right you will find a Protocol Droid Console, and using it will deploy a lit race route -- grab a Speeder and cross over the pads to complete it and spawn a Minikit.

(5) In the center back area are building parts that you use to construct a Droid Panel -- using it causes a riding lawn mower to be delivered, and you use that to mow a trail of Studs, at the end of which unlocks a Minikit Part.

(6)  Get a Minikit from the Minikit Dispenser you build once your buildings reached Level 8.

(7) Using the Minikit Detector to point the way, grab the Minikit to the far right of the first area you started in.

You should have already obtained the Minikits for destroying the 10 trees.  If you did not already do it, the lower-left base has an odd plate on it -- once you take that base, build three buildings on the base but NOT on that plate, and it will open revealing a Mininkit.  The last one you get for destroying three of the tanks (AAT's).  If you missed any of those do them now!

Now save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a Separtist Character to release Vader's Apprentice (Classic) from the 6th Tank from the left of row 2, and pay 275,000 Studs to purchase them!

-- Mission 5: Weapons Factory --

You should already have three of the ten Minikits for this level.

(1) A pile of building components in the right side of the battlefield allows you to build a Droid Spot that delivers a sports car -- use that to drive over the trail of blue studs to unlock  a Minikit.

A Battle Droid Massacre for a Minikit Part

(2) In the right rear of the first area there is a Bounty Hunter Console that spawns a timer -- you need to kill 50 Battle Droids to unlock the Minikit.

(3) In the left-rear base there is a special plate -- build three buildings at the base (but not ON the plate) to have it reveal a pit with a Minikit.

(4)  On the far-right side of the battlefield is a hill with a Minikit floating on top -- use Jar Jar to high-jump and grab that next.

-- Play through to spawn the CS, then take out the three enemy bases to spawn the next CS and keep doing that until you change to the second team of characters and enter the caves --

(5) Inside the first section of caves use your Bazooka Trooper to destroy the Gold web and zone out there, and use The Force to raise the egg on the ground straight up (literally) and then over to the nest by the large bird.  Use the saber walls to reach the nest and claim your Minikit!

(6) Open the doors and enter the right-hand side, using e Droid to release the Minikit thingie, and then after it completes its dance, claim your Minilit!

(7) Open the next set of doors and again, on the right-hand side, go in but this time use the grapple-point to open the shower curtains, exposing more than just your next Minikit!

When we did the story mode you should have already unlocked the Minikit Part for raising your buildings to Level 8 and then building the Minikit Dispenser Building.  You should have smashed the five red crystals (balls) in the cave when we went through in Story Mode -- if not do that again.  In the last part of the mission you turned five valves, scoring a Minikit -- if you did not, than you need to do that to wrap up this area!

Now save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a Good Character to score Luke Skywalker (Classic) from the 5th Tank from the left of the second row and purchase him for 50,000 Studs.  Good on ya!

-- Mission 6: Legacy of Terror --

You should already have two of the ten Minikits for this mission.

(1) Silver Rocks -- strewn throughout the area of the mission are five Silver rocks -- use the Bazooka Trooper on them to reveal parts, which you build into a demon creature who dances then explodes.  Collect all five.

(A) The first is in the area above the stairs you built and which you got a Minikit in.

(B) The second is inside the zone opened up by the drill carriage further in the cave.  When you find this, blow it up and assemble it for another dance.

(C) The third is inside the side-path you open with the mech suit.

(D) The fourth is just parts inside the area to the left after you drop down into the Zombie area and use the Electric Console top access the zone with the balloons and glowing crystals.

(E) The dancer is on the upper left side of the final area, that you reach using the saber walls.  Simply assemble the parts to spawn a Minikit Part!

(2) At the top on the right-hand side of the first area after you push the second statue parts down, use the grapple-point above to release another Minikit!

(3) In between the 2nd and 3rd statues is a Droid Spot -- activate that to release a drill carriage that will break through the wall, opening a passage for you.  Head inside to zone into a new area, where you will find the second Silver rock.

Assemble the parts here to make one section of trans, then use the grapple-point to deploy another, and finally use The Force to push the last one into place, revealing the switch.  Throw the switch to have the train that is whirling past above deliver a car with a Minikit on it!

(4) In the main area now, pull down the wall and use your Rapid Fire Trooper to destory the Gold Triangles on the walls, revealing parts to build a mech suit.  Mount the mech suit and walk to the back of the cave, stepping on the pad to blow open a side path.

Inside the side path is the next Silver rock and a Minikit for you to collect!

Note:  Chances are very good that it is at this point in the game as you destroy the Gold tringles that you will unlock the Achievement "Goldie Blocks" (10GP) awarded for overheating 50 fold brick objects.

(5) An Electric Console on the left-hand side of the Zombie area you drop into after building the statue opens a new area -- head inside and use The Force to light the crystals, and then the Bazoola Trooper to blow up the Silver Cake in the center of the area to reveal a Minikit!

(6) To the right-hand side of the Zombie area is a silver web -- clear away the rubble at the foot of it with the Bazooka Trooper and then using a combination of The Force and the Dark Force, place the purple objects on the ground onto the web to spawn a Minikit!  The Spider can be ridden as a vehicle.

(7) After you battle the boss mob and have defeated them, you start to run towards the camera -- when you do that, there will be five silver eggs on the path that you need to destroy with your Bazooka Trooper.  Destroying the fifth egg releases the Minikit.

This is probably the most difficult of the Minikit challenges to unlock in the game, mostly because you have to kit the eggs on the fly -- if you stop, you die -- and you are forced to play through the entire level to get to this point to try again.  Your best approach is to spam shots with the Bazooka Trooper literally the entire way along the cave in the hopes of getting all five as you pass them.  We found this to be one of the more frustrating ones due to the buggy nature of it -- which we warn you about below.

When you destroy the 5th egg be sure that you actually STOP and grab the Minikit, as it will appear where the last egg was.  If you do not take it before the swarm catches up to you, you will have to start  over...

WARNING:  If you try to head back if you miss one, you can get stuck into a death loop regardless of whether you have Invincibility turned on.  If that happens you have no options but to save-and-quit and start over.

(8) At the very end of the run you will find a Minikit above a set of saber walls -- just jump up and grab it to finish this mission and the story line!

At the mission start you will have built a set of stairs up that will release a Minikit -- the Dark Force object on the wall is simply a diagram on how to properly place the blocks but you should have figured that out easily on your own!  Moving through the cave five statues will pop out of the walls and you destroyed all five to get another Minikit -- if you did not, you need to do that this time through.

Now that you have all ten, quit-and-save, then head to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a bad character to claim Darth Vader (Classic) from the second tank from the left in row two, purchasing him for 275,000 Studs.

Good on ya mate!  That is all of the Minikit Parts for one entire story-line completed!

Part 44: General Grievous Story Line Clean Up

Now it is time to complete clean up on the General Grievous line of the game, so head to the first of his missions now!

-- Mission 1: Duel of the Droids --

You should already have two of the ten Minikit Parts for this mission.

(1)  The first thing you do after grabbing the Studs on the ground here is use a Droid to open the Droid Spot and a small character to crawl through the crawl-door.  In this area are three Battle Droids -- kill all three to spawn the first Minikit Part!

(2) There are five special Gold Super Battle Droid dispensers along the path -- activate all five to spawn a Minikit Part.

(3) Along the walls there are five machines that poke out -- destroy all five to spawn a Minikit Part.

(4) You will encounter Protocol Droid Consoles that open storage rooms with beach balls in them -- smash all of the beach balls to spawn a Minikit Part.

(5) Destroy five of the Mouse Droids that are in the corridors to spawn a Minikit Part.

(6) After you battle Grievous but BEFORE you switch back to the other team, use the jet packs to go to the far left and use the Electric Console here to move the Minikit Part from the cage to where you can get it.

(7) In the hanger build the flying saucer and then fly it over the plates on the floor to spawn a Minikit Part!

(8) After the evil R3 moves to the second area, you will see an opening above the console it used -- head through that to a mini-zone that turns out to be a bowling alley!  This is dead easy -- just line up the launchers and use the grapple-point to "bowl" the Droidika.  When you clear all of the "pins" a Minikit Part spawns!

You should have already collected the part from destroying the five Gold Crates along the path -- as your Gold Super Battle Droids will have done this for you in Story Mode.  After you blew up the bombs you should have assembled the Minikit part from the components on the purple table in that room!  If you did not do these things you need to do them on this play through.

You should save-and-quit and then go down to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a good character to release Han Solo (Classic) from the 2nd Tank on the left of the first row, purchasing him for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 2: Shadow of Malevolence --

You should not have any of the Minikit Parts for this mission as we did not locate any when we played it.

(1) Follow the green arrows to kill the marked ships -- two at the top area, then boost down and kill two more, and finally boost back up to kill the 5th and last to spawn a Minikit.

(2) Head down to the lower level and to the left end of the ship where you will spot a black and red marked box -- destroy that with a Separatist ship and then collect the Minikit that spawns there by doing a loop under it.

(3) The large cannon (it is huge and pink)  has a group of discs inside of doors that open when it is not firing -- destroy those with torpedoes when the cannon is idle to spawn a Minikit,

(4) On the first landing pad on the bottom is a building in the left back corner with a Minikit hovering above it -- use Jar Jar to jump up and snag it.

Swimming in Minikit Parts

(5) After you blow the top off on the right side using torpedoes land on the pad that is revealed and use the Protocol Droid console to access the swimming pool.  Use the grapple-point to drain the water and spawn a Minikit Part -- and use Jar Jar to jump up and get it!

(6) On the same pad as above in the back left corner is a storage crate with a grapple-point -- open it and ride one of the brown things in it to park it on the first plate in the series and then use the second brown thing to ride over the other plates until the Minikit spawns, then grab it!

(7) Use torpedoes to blow off the left-hand top of the ship, and then land at the pad revealed there, and on the back left side load the trash containers into the processor until a Minikit pops out -- then grab it!

(8) On the same pad as above, on the right is a disabled escape pod.  Break loose the connector and grapple it into place to power up the pod -- then launch it and get back in your ship and launch IT.  The Pod will be floating nearby -- just destroy it for a Minikit Part.

(9) In the bottom right rear of the ship on the inside side is a Gold object -- use a Rapid Fire ship to destroy it, scoring yourself another Minikit Part!

(10) On the bottom pad on the far right is another escape pod with a Dark Force box beside it.  Use the Force on it and then launch it, get back in your ship and chase over to it and destroy it, gaining the last Minikit Part!

Back on the Hub head directly for the Bacta Tank Compartment and release the character Lando Calrissian (Classic) from the 5th Tank from the left in row 1, and purchase him for 50,000 Studs!

Now head back to the Bridge and then return to the mission that we just finished getting the kits to unlock Lando from -- and fly to the bottom pad and land your ship.  Now get back in the ship and take off, unlocking the Achievement "Land-o Calrissian" (10 GP).  Nice one!  Quit-and-save and head for the next mission now.

-- Mission 3: Destroy Malevolence --

You should have one of the ten Minikit Parts for this mission.

(1) To the right in the first room is a Trooper Console that opens a door -- go inside and use the Force control object in the back of the room to tilt the big game table under the glass, rolling the ball inside to the center, where it is ejected.  Use the Bazooka Trooper to blow it up revealing the Minikit part, which you then collect.

(2)  There are five Dark Force Boxes in the mission area -- find all five and destroy them to obtain the Minikit.

(A) In the same room as above is the first Dark Force object -- pick it up with The Force until it explodes.

(B) At the first Droid Spot to stop the train in the next area, after you use it, use the Bounty Hunter to jet pack over to the platform to the back right and destroy the red box on it to reveal the next of these objects.  Destroy that with The Force.

(C) After deploying the train car as bridge using the crane, cross over the tracks and then jet pack towards the camera to reach another platform with a bridge folded up on it.  Step on the button there to deploy the bridge and then go to the back and destroy a crate with the Dark Force object it it.  Now destroy the object.

(D) On the path in the room with the Torpedo targets.

(E) On the Bridge in the back is the final Dark Force object -- destroy it to spawn a Minikit above where it was located.

(3) Zone into the next area and drop down to the ledge before the bottom, then pull the two grapple-points to release a Minikit Part -- jump down on to the ledge and grab it.

(4) On the platform in the back of the train area after you use the Droid Spot to stop the train and the Bounty Hunter to reach the platform, use the Protocol Droid console to deploy a Gold object -- then use the Rapid Fire Trooper to destroy it and obtain the Minikit Part!

(5) Stop the second train in the train area using the console, and then destroy the box on it using the Bazooka Trooper, building the console from the parts and then using the console to raise the container in the back with the Minikit in it.

Now fly over to the next platform, stop the train and build the crane, then use the crane to smash the container -- now use the Bounty Hunter to fly over and get the Minikit!

(6) Use the crane to move the train car into position as a bridge but, before crossing over, go to the back of the bridge car and climb up on the edge, then jet pack over to the far platform.  Use the Bazooka Trooper to destroy the Silver cap on the fan, then press the red button and stop onto the fan to be blown up to grab the Minikit here!

(7) In the next area (with the torpedo targets) destroy the five Silver objects with the Bazooka Trooper to obtain a Minikit.

(8) During the battle with General Grievous, you need to use your saber to break the shield on five of the Droidikas and then toss each at the general.  When you hit him with the 5th Droidika the Minikit spawns!

(8) On the Bridge there is an electrical console you need to charge, and then a grapple-point next to it that you pull to reveal a Minikit Part.

You would have received the one we got on this level automatically when you completed the colored light matching to progress so no worries there.

Save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment to release Wedge Antilles (Classic) from the 3rd tank from the right of the first row, purchasing him for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 4: Lair of Grievous --

You should have two of the ten parts for this mission already.

(1) On the outcropping to the left of the ship there is a Gold rock -- use your Rapid Fire Trooper to destroy it, then jet pack over to grab the Minikit.

(2) After the rocket blows up the ship use the Dark Force on it to build an electrical console, then use that to zap the flying bug and score yourself a Minikit!

(3) Destroy ten Dark Force objects on the walls along the corridor as you progress to spawn a Minikit.

(4) Destroy ten ceiling lamps to spawn a Minikit.

(5) In the room with the ceiling lights use the Bounty Hunter console on the left and enter a dark room with a pool table.  Turn on the light and put the colored balls in their respective color-matching pockets to spawn a Minikit!

(6) In the long hall use the different consoles to obtain the parts to build objects and build them -- drive the cart onto the pad to spawn a Minikit and collect it.

(7) In the lava room, after you fall down the trap use the Dark Force to raise platforms in the lava and jump from one to the other to get to the Minikit and grab it.

(8) Destroy the Gold light objects to spawn a Minikit.

(9) Use the electrical pad in the large room with the Gold lights to spawn a large dancing mob, then use a rocket to take out the disco ball above and spawn a Minikit!

When we did the story mode you should have obtained the Minikit that spawn when you move the revolving yellow object from the left pedestal to the right and powered it up.  If you did not, you should do that now.

Save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment and release the Rebel Commando (Classic) from the first tank on the left of row 2, purchasing them for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 5: Rookies --

You should not have any of the parts for this mission as we did not find any when we played it on Story Mode.

(1) Immediately do a Bazooka attack to clear out the zone, build the grapple-point and go down it, and battle the worm until it crashes through the panel and moves to the back area of caves.  Use the Bazooka to open the Silver blocked cave and Dark Force on the other then enter the Dark Force one to zone to a new area..  Inside use The Force to put the eggs-into the incubator and then use the electrical console to hatch them.  Grab the Minikit that spawns.

(2) Use a high-jump character to get into the second cave to zone, then use the three grapple-point to spawn a Minikit and collect it.

(3) After you kill the work, build the bridge on its carcass but do not go up.  Instead go to the right hand cave and use the Jedi Spot to cut your way in, then zone in and you will find a worm in here and the pieces of a Minikit on the ground.  Throw them into the worms mouth and it will assemble them into a complete Minikit Part that you can then collect.

(4) Use the pair of consoles on the platform above the dead worm to spawn a Minikit, and collect it.  Head up the stairs and zone to return to the original area where we started.

(5) As soon as the level starts, change to the Bazooka Trooper and blow away everything in site.  Construct the grapple-point, then ignore it.  Use The Force on the large crate and, using the building materials that pop out construct street sweeper and ride it over the glowing green spots.  Grab the Minikit that spawns as a result.

(6) Construct the access panel at the end of the path and use it.  Inside work your way along the path and, as you reach grapple-point on the walls grapple them to spawn a Minikit.

A crate within a crate hides a Minikit Part

(7) There are six Gold crates with wooden crates inside of them -- destroy the Gold crates then the wooden ones to spawn a Minikit.

(8) After you obtain the first crate and change teams, destroy the Dark Force grate and zone into a new zone.  Now change to the other team and move to the silver box with the antenna that is right beside the collapsed crate that you obtained the first mobile explosive crate from, positioning them there .

Now switch back and step up to the switch, throwing it to spawn a Minikit across the gap and, quickly, change back to the other team and grab the Minikit Part before the box closes back up!

(9) Us the electrical console on the hot tub to spawn a Minikit and grab it.

(10) The last and most likely most annoying is the task of replacing the five valves found in the various areas into their slots to spawn a Minikit.

You will find them in the following locations:

(A) To the left of the hatch at the end of the path where you first spawn, after taking out the barricade and the enemy here, move forward and you will spot the valve wheel on the deck to the left of the hatch.  Use The Force to pick it up and place it in the valve that is shooting steam off to the left.

(B) After slaying the worm and building a bridge on its body, head up the bridge to the platform and you will find the valve wheel laying on it, and the steaming valve above.  Use The Force to put it into the valve.

(C) After you use the grapple-point to get past the gap, on the other side of the console is the next valve wheel and leaking valve.

(D) On the main console after you change back to the other team, the valve wheel is laying on top of the right side of the center console, and the valve is on the far right side of the area.

(E) The final valve wheel is in the area where the hot tub is, with the wheel sitting on top of the pipe entrance and the valve above and to the right of it.  When you insert the valve wheel in the valve, the actual Minikit spawns outside of the zone back in the main area.

Save-and-quit and then head for the Bacta Tank Compartment with a Separatist character to release  Darth Maul (Classic) from the 4th tank from the left of the 2nd row, purchasing him for 275,000 Studs.

-- Mission 6: Grievous Intrigue --

You should have one of the ten parts for this mission already.

(1) When the level starts switch to the Bazooka Trooper and go nuts shooting the glass between your character and the screen to collect five fracture points and a wicked easy Minikit Part!

(2) Midway down the hall from the bridge where you got the one above is a Gold box -- do NOT fight Grievous if he appears until AFTER you overheat it with Rapid Fire Trooper and assemble the parts to score another Minikit.

(3) After you defeat Grievous your team splits -- as soon as the split happens spam the Silver basket with Bazooka rounds to smash it open, kill the snake in it, and spawn a Minikit!

(4) Steam Valves -- as you work your way through the level you will encounter valves spewing steam -- and where there is steam, there is a valve wheel waiting to be Forced in (see how I did that?  Forcer in?  Get it?)

(A) On the left up the sloping corridor at the start of the split.

(B) In the round area at the top of the sloping corridor on the left after you smash the crates and objects.

(C) After you destroy the three balls and drop the shield, on the right up the next sloping corridor is a valve wheel, and on the left the broken valve!

(D) At the top of the sloping corridor we just did the one above in where it meets the next circular compartment, on the right.

(E) On the right at the start of the last sloping corridor -- WARNING: Do not give up on this just because you cannot find the valve wheel!  You did not destroy it by accident (seriously, cannot happen) you just cannot see it... Unless you look up!

(5) Three Gold corner pieces over the doorway arches in the second round compartment -- overheat them with your Rapid Fire Trooper.

(6) In the prisoner area use your Rapid Fire Trooper to over heat the Gold hatch cover on the right-hand side.

(7) Also in the prisoner area, close all four of the Droid spawn points to spawn a Minikit part.

(8) Outside when you are piloting the ship follow the green arrows and shoot the marked ships to spawn a Minikit Part!

(9) In the rear right of the second landing pad is an electrical console that you charge up to launch an escape pod -- launch it then when you are back in the ship destroy it and collect the Minikit Part!

During the Story Mode play through we stacked the purple boxes up on the second landing pad and spawned the Minikit -- if you failed to do that then do it now.

Save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a Separatist character to release Boba Fett from the 6th tank from the right on the second row, and purchase him for 100,000 Studs.

You have now completed all of the clean up for the second story-line -- good on ya mate!  Well done!

Part 45: Asajj Ventress Story Line Clean Up

Now it is time to complete clean up on the third and final story line -- that of Asajj Ventress -- so head to the first of his missions now!

-- Mission 1: The Hidden Enemy --

You should already have one of the ten parts for this mission.

(1) Deployed computer displays -- salted throughout the zone are dual computer displays on purple workstations that you can activate using the force.  Once you activate them and they drop down, destroy them with a saber slash!

(A) In the starting room on the rear right corner.

(B) Use the crawl-door to head to the room to the left of the starting room, and destroy one of two in this room.

(C) Destroy 2 of 2 in the room to the left of the starting room.

(D) In the room across the gap on the left side.

(E)  In the room with the cannon on the back right.

(F) In the area after the ship, where the plates have to be Forced to open the door, on the left hand side of the area.

(G) In the mess hall after using the Protocol Droid Console after the ship, along the rear wall.

(H) In the area where you fight Ventress on the upper right platform.

(I) In the area where you fight Ventress on the upper left plaform.

(J) In the second Ventress battle area along the left rear wall.

(2) In the room to the left of the starting room, plug the power cable in to the first plug to spawn a Minikit part.

(3) On the room with the cannon, step out onto the ledge and jet pack around the side to another ledge to score a Minikit!

(4) On the roof use the Droid Spot on the left read to summon a Probe Droid that will destroy a tank in the distance and then return, morphing into a Minikit Part.

(5) On the roof use The Force and The Dark Force to turn the four valve wheels and spawn a Minikit!

(6) On the roof along the back edge in the distance are three green sniper targets -- one on the left, and two on the right -- use a Bounty Hunter with a Sniper Rifle to take those out, which will spawn a Minikit Part on the platform where the shuttle lands.

(7) Use the Protocol Droid console in the area after the ship where you have to Force plates off of the walls and floor to open the main door -- go into this mess hall and plug the gas line into the center plug, saber slash it, and a Minikit spawns.

(8) In the second Ventress battle area, stack the four purple books on the purple shelves on the left and right side in the back to spawn a Minikit!

(9) When Ventress leaves the library follow her, and build the steps using the computer displays to cause her to leave that room -- but DO NOT follow her outside!  Instead use The Force on the red cranks on either side of the upper area to open two garages below with cars in them!

Now drive each car back into the library and park it on one of the plates there to spawn a Minikit!  If you missed the homage here, that was Indiana Jones and his father tied to the chairs that morphed into that Minikit!  How cool is that?

Quit-and-save now, and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a Separatist Character and release Greedo (Classic) from the 4th Tank from the left of the 1st row, purchasing him for 70,000 Studs!

-- Mission 2: Ambush! --

You should not have any of the parts for this one, as we did not find any on the Story Mode play through.

An Escape Pod Minikit Part

(1) As the mission starts turn to face the crashed escape pod and shoot off all four booster engines, then use The Force on the Force Object on it, and finally use the grapple-point to spawn the first Minikit!  Good on ya!

(2) Before you head into the next area kill the first of the five crabs that will spawn a Minikit!  Kill the other four as you find them.

(3) On the left side of the second area is a row of three odd-looking barrel shaped plants -- two of which can be raised using The Force.  Jump in to the air current generated by them and ride it up to the ledge above on the left, then jet pack across to the right and push the crate on that ledge down to the ground.  Now drop down and assemble the crab.

Ride it around the area, using it to squeeze the five Purple Crabs (small ones) to spawn a Minikit!

(4) At the back of the second area destroy all the Gold objects and then use the Dark Force on the spot to the left, and assemble the object that you use to climb up the wall to reach the upper cave.  Go in and you will find a crab that -- when you saber slice it -- plays three colored notes.

Double jump in the mushrooms in the back in the same color sequence to spawn a Minikit!

(5) Kill the seadragon in the cave with the musical mushrooms -- and the other four you encounter as you move through the zone to spawn a Minikit.

(6) When you enter the third area, from the center of the top ledge, jet pack to the right and use the Droid Console there to cause an avalanche of rocks that opens a cave above you.  Now jump into the cave to zone into a new area with a large crab!

Use the grapple-points to cooperatively spawn a Minikit Part!

(7) On the left-hand side just past the tank you destroy in the third area is a Gold object blocking a cave -- destroy that and go in to find a very strange monster thingy.  Use the Dark Force to light up the crystals, which forces the thingy on the ceiling back and, after the third one, you spawn a Minikit that a small crab carries to the ceiling, and spawns a switch.

As you approach the switch there is a plant on the right that if you saber slice it will spawn one of the Sea Dragons you need for the other Minikit Quest.  Kill that, then high-jump to snag the Minkit and then pull the switch a few times just for the fun of it.  Say, if you figure out what it is for, please let me know?

(8) Using the electrical console on the right as the canyon opens up, you will drop a bunch of purple building parts.  Assemble these into a platform and then put one of your characters on it, and raise it with the other.  Grab the Minikit above!

(9) In the right-rear corner is a group of purple barrel objects -- destroy those and then assemble a large crab, and it will bring you a Minikit.

(10) On the right side of the back area by the electrical console is a cave that is blocked by Dark Force plants -- remove those and enter to find a bunch of stuff to shoot up, including the last three Sea Dragon plant/animals.  Using The Force place the object son the three lights to spawn the Ark of the Covenant from Indiana Jones -- which you open by its grapple-point and find a Minikit Part.

Excellent job!  You have them all now, so save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment and release Darth Vader Battle Damaged (Classic) from the 4th tank from the right in row 1.  Purchasing him for 275,000 Studs adds your second Vader Character to the collection.

-- Mission 3: Blue Shadow Virus --

You should have one of the ten parts for this mission already.

(1) Using the Dark Force pull objects out of the swamp and destroy them to spawn a Minikit Part.

(2) Using The Force, pull five carrots out of the ground and destroy them to spawn a Minikit Part.

(3) Using the Rapid Fire Trooper destroy the large Gold statue in the rear-left of the area and then build the riding lawn mower, and then mow the plants to spawn a Minikit Part.

(4) As soon as you change to the airship, use the console to deploy the catcher and grab the Minikit Part.

(5) In the corridors there are four gates that you must close to cut off the enemy using The Force.  When you close them there is a purple latch that goes to the bottom -- you need to move it to the top in order to lock the gate -- and by doing that to the four gates, you spawn a Minikit Part!

(6) After you rejoin your companion and open the hatch to the next area you find a pair of consoles -- use them so that both display a picture of a Minikit Part and that will spawn one for you!

(7) At the end of the corridor instead of heading to the right and using the Jedi Spot to cut open the hatch continue forward and use the Protocol Droid Console to open the hatch here and then enter the right door into the Cantina.

In here, head to the bar and use the force to move the drinks tank from the right to its mounting on the left, and then Force-Push the mug on the far right to under the drinks tank.  Hop over the bar and use the switch to fill the glass, and then slide it back in front of the customer, who drinks it, then runs to the head to hurl, bringing out a Minikit Part when he exits!

(8) When you reach the room with the crawl-door in it, go through and use the saber walls to get to the top and grab the Minikit Part!

(9) When you reach the giant lift with the shuttle on it, change your two characters to Troopers and use the grapple-points on the shuttle on the lift to spawn the last Minikit Part!

When we came through in the Story Mode we destroyed the cameras that pop up out of the ground when the alarm sounds to spawn a Minikit Part -- if you did not do that you should do it now.

With all that accomplished you only need to head down to the Bacta Tank Compartment and release the Clone Shadow Trooper (Classic) from the 4th tank from the right-hand side of row two, purchasing them for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 4: Storm Over Ryloth --

You should not have any parts for this one.

(1) Land at the first pad and open the wall so that you can plug the power cable in to open the hatch and go inside.  Destroy the Silver crate and then assemble the console, pushing it to the end of the track to turn it on, and using it to spawn a Minikit outside. Go back to your ship, fly out, and collect that Minikit now.

(2) Move to the next pad forward on the right side of the ship and land, and use the crawl-door to go to the lower level below, and grab the Minikit here.

(3) There are ten Gold objects mounted on the front of the ship's hull -- change to your best Rapid Fire ship and destroy them to spawn a Minikit.

(4) Land on the pad on the left side of the ship near the center, and use the Protocol Console to arm deck plates, then take over the Vulture Droid and use that to trip the plates, spawning a Minikit.

(5) Follow the green arrows and destroy the five ships to spawn a Minikit Part.

(6) Using a Separtist ship, boost to the upper level of the battlefield and destroy the sparkling box on the right side top section of the Bridge Superstructure of the ship to spawn another Minikit.

(7) After you shoot up the gun turrets on the Separtist ships on either side from the turret controls on the Republic Battleship, boost up to the top of the battlefield and land on the Bridge tower. Use a high-jump character like Jar Jar to grab the Minikit from the front of the tower.

(8) Inside the Bridge use the Rapid Fire Trooper to remove the Gold hatch and take the Minikit from inside.

(9) On the Bridge use the grapple to pull open the grapple-point on the right near the main console; use Dark Force to pull the building materials out and construct the pad cor the main console; step in the main console to spawn a Minikit above the main console.

(10) Use one of the turrets to shoot down ten enemy fighters to unlock a Minikit Part.

Save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a good character to release Qui-Gon Jinn (Classic) from the 5th tank from the right in row 1, purchasing him for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 5: Innocents of Ryloth --

You should have four of the ten for this one, leaving only six for us to find!

Chimney Sweeping for a Minikit Part

(1) On the roofs there are five chimneys that you need to use The Force on to get a Minikit.

(2) Midway down the street is a Protocol Droid Console -- use that and then enter the door next to it to enter the school room.  On the board is an equation -- put the pegs in it to make the equation, and then wait while the students run to their desks and spawn the Minikit for you!

(3) In the very back of the village above is a Bounty Hunter Console -- use that to spawn the last  Minikit for this part of the mission.

(4)  Force Push the crate to the first turn, where you use a crawl-door to reach the fenced-off area ahead and grab a Minikit.

(5) In the area with the tanks use your Rapid Fire Trooper to destroy the gold wall to the left and grab the Minikit there.

(6) In the left rear area of the zone is a Silver object on the wall -- use the Bazooka Trooper to smash it and then construct the object from the building parts to cause the Minikit to be ejected form the large smoke stack and then parachute gently down to you!

When we went through this level in Story mode we picked up the Minikit from the five Pink Flowers.  After stabling the beasts and entering the castle, we grabbed the Minikit for using The Force on the water pipe in the first Jail Cell, and the one inside the area of the second cell we cut open to get the box out.  Lastly in the village we destroyed five shipping crates to get a Minikit.  If you failed to do any of those previously you will need to do them now.

As we now have all ten Minikits, save-and-quit and then head to the Bacta Tank Compartment and release Captain Antilles (Classic) in the 2nd tank from the right in row 1, purchasing him for 50,000 Studs.

-- Mission 6: Liberty on Ryloth --

You will have two of the ten for this mission already.

(1) A set of five palm tree like plants need to be destroyed to spawn a Minikit Part.

(2) In the upper left-hand side of the first area is a pile of building materials that constructs a Droid Console that you use to summon an elephant.  Using the elephant, ride along the trail of Blue Studs, picking them up to spawn a Minikit Piece.

(3) A collection of ten Grey boulders are dispersed throughout the battlefield -- destroy all ten to spawn a Minikit Part.

(4) On the right-hand side in the way back is a crawl-door that will take you to a ledge with a Dark Force object you destroy to get a Minikit Part.  One of the Grey rocks for that collection is up on this ledge as well.

(5) In the far lower right corner of the battlefield is another Dark Force Object you can destroy to obtain a Minikit Part.

(6) Using the Bounty Hunter Console on the far back right of the battlefield you start a timer and you kill 50 Battle Droids within the time limit to spawn a Minikit Part.

(7) Destroy three AAT's to spawn a Minikit Part.

(8) In the southwest corner of the Separatist side of the battlefield there is a Protocol Droid Console that summons a lit path for you to race a Speeder along, at the end of which there is a Minikit Part!

When we played through on the story mode we picked up the Minikit that was on the edge of the battlefield to the left of where we started the level, and then we upgraded our buildings to Level 8 and built the Minikit Dispenser Building.  If you did not do these two things, you will need to do them now.

Now that we have the ten Minikit Parts and we have completed the final story-line, it is time to save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment where we release Stormtrooper (Classic)  from the 5th tank from the right in row 2, paying 50,000 Studs.

Unlocking this character will also unlock the Achievement "Jango's Army!" (50 GP) for unlocking and purchasing all of the Clone characters in the game.  On your way back to the Bridge pause in the Medical Bay by the purple Droid here and buy it -- that is the Luxuty Droid -- and buying it unlocks the Achievement "Clanker collector" (50 GP)!

Part 45: The Extra Missions Clean Up Campaign

These are the trio of bonus missions that take place immediately following the story line, and they consist of the Epilogue Mission and a pair of missions that are flagged form special consoles on the Separatist Battleship!

Mission A: The Zillo Beast Clean Up

This is the Epilogue Mission at the end of the story -- where we killed the beast with the many attacks!  You should already have one of the ten parts for this one, leaving nine for us to find.

(1) Five red-crystal studded boulders need to be destroyed to spawn a Minikit Part.

(2) A collecton of 10 Blue Objects on the battlefield need to be destroyed to spawn a Minikit Part.

(3) An electrical console in the bottom center of the battlefield spawns a lit track for you to race a Speeder along, at the end of which is a Minikit Part.

(4) A Dark Force Boulder in the bottom far right side of the battlefield spawns a Minikit Part.

(5) A Bounty Hunter Console on the far right-hand lower side of the Battlefield spawns a timer -- you need to kill 50 Battle Droids within the allotted time to spawn a Minikit Part.

Plugging Away for a  Minikit Part

(6) In the top right-hand side of the battlefield is a set of large pipes with a Minikit in a cage on top -- you need to use The Force to plug in the power cables on either side to cause the Minikit to be freed from the cage so you can take it!

(7) Near the pipes above is an R2 Droid Console that summons an Ice Cream Truck -- all that you need to do is follow the trail of Blue Studs to the Minikit Part at the end!

(8) In the center of the battlefield is an odd-looking rock that has a Minikit suspended in the air above it -- either use a High-Jump character or use one of the AT-TE six-legged tanks to reach and claim it!

(9)Destroy six of the enemy tanks on the battlefield to spawn a Minikit Part!

When we played through on the Story Mode you should have gotten your buildings to Level 8 and built the Minikit Dispenser and obtained a Minikit -- if not, do that now!

With the 10th Minikit in the bag, save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment to release Chewbacca (Classic) from the 3rd tank from the right in the 2nd row, paying 50,000 Studs to purchase that furry beast and add him to our collection!

Mission B:  Castle of Doom

When we played through the Story Mode for this mission we did not obtain any of the Minikit Parts.  If you did on your play through of the Story Mode, ignore the ones you already have in the following list.  Now let us wrap up the missing parts!

(1) In the rear of the starting room are tables with Silver serving dishes on them -- you need to use the Bazooka Trooper to destroy the Silver serving dishes and expose the buttons, and then starting at one end and jumping from button to button, get them all pressed down and green at the same time.   This will likely require several attempts as there is only enough time to press and jump all the way across before the first button resets.  Good luck, mates...

(2) Complete four Saber Throws at Jabba in the center of the room -- each time you hit him with a Saber Throw he coughs up a piece of the Minikit (the bottom section, the antennae plate and middle section, and the top plate and top section.  Assemble the Minikit and pick it up to complete this.

Dropping in to a Minikit Part

(3) Using a Clone Trooper, stand in the center of the room and use the grapple-point on the chandelier overhead; after it is pulled down build the purple foundation plate on the floor, and then pick up the food crates using The Force and put them on the foundation plate, which causes a trap door to open dropping the food crates into the pit, and spawning a Minikit Part.  Claim the Minikit Part to complete this challenge.

WARNING: The next section can be a little buggy if you are playing on Xbox 360, and you can end up with a system lock.  It is a good idea to go ahead and quit-and-save here, and restart with the three kits above saved, so if you end up getting a system freeze you do not have to repeat the above.  You may also want to make a copy of your save file and stick it on a thumb drive formatted for use with your Xbox just in case...

(4)  In the right hand-side of the first room is a Silver object -- destroy that with the Bazooka Trooper to reveal parts for a Probe Droid -- build five of these to spawn a Minikit Part.

There is one in the first room, two in the room with the desert sailor, one in the gate area, and one in the desert.

(5)  When you enter the kitchen go ahead and build the sandwich to access the console and open the door as usual, but once you have the door open, use the Rapid Fire Trooper to destroy the Gold gate to the right and assemble a second table -- then reassemble the sandy on that -- then use Jar Jar to high-jump to snag the Minikit!  Mischief Managed!

(6) There are five towers sticking out of the walls above -- just follow the arrows from the Minikit Detector to locate them.  Destroy all five and you spawn a Minikit.

(7) In the gate area there are the first few of ten bones and skulls to be destroyed to spawn a Minikit.

(8) Use the Bazooka Trooper on the shackles in front of the Sailer wreck to spawn a Minikit.

(9) On the left of the roof in the process of opening the gate is a crawl-door -- use that to reach a Minikit.

(10) In the desert there is a Droid Console that opens a garage where you find a beach buggy.  You need to run through the lit course and press all of the plates before the timer for each plate expires and it resets.  Get them all green at the same time to spawn a Minikit.

With the last Minikit in the bag quit-and-save and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment and release the Imperial Guard (Classic) from the 1st tank on the right of the 2nd row, paying 50,000 Studs to purchase them!

Mission C: Hostage Crisis

When we did the Story Mode we did not unlock any Minikits -- so this will go quick!

(1)  Using The Force, place the three parts on the ground on their corresponding spots on the space freighter to your right, causing it to take off, revealing a Minikit Part.

(2) Assemble the Droid Pad on the left side of the starting area and use it to summon a bigwheel and use the rockets from that to destroy the center ship and spawn a Minikit Part!

Executions for a  Minikit Part

(3) Kill the five Clone Troopers cleaning the ships for a Minikit Part.

(4) High-jump the left-hand ship for a Minikit Part.

(5) Kill five mouse droids in the second area to spawn a Minikit Part.

(6) On the far right-hand side is a gold cage covering a console -- destroy the cage and use the console to open the hatch to the area on the right, then use the head changing machines on the guards to raise the center platform and grab the Minikit on it!

(7) Use The Force on the five Ice Cream Machines to spawn a Minikit Part.

(8) Use the Dark Force on the object to reveal the crawl-door and use that to reach the Minikit on the scaffold below!

(9) Enter the first power room and restore the power, then the second power room and do the same, constructing the four switches.  After you have them all pushed in and power restored, use the Dark Force on the object to the right to deploy a big screen video game of Indiana Jones.  Use the switch to start the game, and then the button on the floor to have Indiana jump over the five gaps.  When you reach the far right after the 5th gap a Minikit Spawns!

(10) Finally, on the far right side near the hatch to the head area is a Jedi Spot at which you cut open the wall to reveal a switch.  Throwing that switch opens the outside windows of the area, allowing you to jet pack out to grab the final Minikit Part!  Good on ya mates!

It can be a bit tricky judging when you are over the platform with the last Minikit so watch for your shadow dot to tell you when to turn off your jet pack.

Now you just save-and-quit and head to the Bacta Tank Compartment with a Separatist character to release the Tusken Raider (Classic) from the 2nd Tank on the right from the 2nd row, purchasing it for 50,000 Studs!

Now, that does NOT complete the character collection, sadly, as there are still 4 left to find, but it does unlock the Achievement "A presence I've not felt since" (70 GP) so well done!

The last three characters include one that requires a special promotional code -- called Savage Oppress -- which you unlock with the Savage Opress Code MELL07 (the last two are the numbers zero and seven) which you may as well do now!

The final three characters left are Grand Moff Tarkin, who you get for having the Separtist control the Galaxy, Chancellor Palpatine, who you get for having the Republic control the Galaxy, and Whorm Loathsom, who appears on the Bridge after you complete the Assault on Christophsis battle.

So you now know what you need to do next, don't you?  So start turning the Galaxy into controlled space!

Note:  You may be tempted to just use the cheat codes for those characters -- and you could do that, sure, but it will not get you the Gold Bricks you need for winning all of the battles will it?  And that means you do not get the coveted 100% do you?

Part 46: Republic/Separatist Assault

You should already have this unlocked an in the main menu, and have completed the Naboo Mission -- but if you do not, this is unlocked by going to the vehicle bay and using a tank to blast off the lock on the rear compartment, then using the console there to select missions -- or the main menu once it is unlocked..

To unlock the missions on the Separatist side, you do the same thing -- head into the ship you built in the back of the Main Hanger, spawn a vehicle, and then blow off the lock, accessing the console to add this to the main menu!

There are two Achievements that are associated with this part of the game -- and they will likely be among the last ones you unlock.  To earn them you must have one side of the other control ALL of the planets on this menu -- but their is a catch.  In order to unlock the Achievements you must first have one side take over all of the planets they do not have, and then have the other side take all of the planets, unlocking the Achievement for that side, and only THEN can can you take the planets with the opposing faction to unlock their Achievement.

Just to let you know - these work way faster and less frustrating if you do them with two players.

The missions for this are:

Part 47: Space Missions

The Space Missions are probably the most misunderstood of all of the missions in the game because most players accidentally do some of them without realizing that they were doing a mission at all.  The space in between the two faction hubs is the space in which these missions take place -- if you were traveling between them and you started and completed one of the missions there, then you have done a Space Mission!

Usually this becomes an issue when a gamer has reached the point where there are only 15 or so Gold Bricks left to obtain and they cannot figure out what they did not do -- chances are high that what you did not do was the rest of the Space Missions!

So, here is how this works.  Using the main console on either of the Hub ships in their Hanger Deck, you select from the System selection from the Main Menu -- that is in the middle of the top row.  If you go there now and look at a system, you will see that there is information about what has been completed for that system -- the display has three boxes in it that show check marks for what you have done and includes the Republic and Separatist Ground Attack Missions, and the Space Missions.  The latter is the box on the bottom.

To move the hubs to a new system and do that planet's Space Mission, simply select it in this menu and hit the action button.  A short count-down and alarm will sound, and the ships will move to the system you just selected.  All you need to do then is pick a ship, go outside, and complete whatever the mission is.  There is a special object in space for you to shoot to begin the mission, and each mission has a brief description you are shown when you begin it!

(1) Christophsis
Ship Load: Missiles on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:00 Timer.

(2) Coruscant
Ship Load: Any (Missiles work well)  on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 01:30 Timer.

(3) Dead Moon of Antar
Ship Load: Any (Missiles work very well) on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:00 Timer.

(4) Florrum
Ship Load: Any  on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 01:00 Timer.

(5) Geonosis
Ship Load: Rapid Fire Bolts (to damage Gold objects) on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 01:30 Timer.

(6)  Malastare
Ship Load: Must be a Separatist Ship with Torpedoes on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:00 Timer.

(7) Maridun
Ship Load: Any
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:30 Timer.

Note: When you enter the space sector on this mission initially you see nothing but debris but, if you look closely there is a wrecked Republic Gunship floating alongside the Separatist Battleship.  There is also no Gold Brick Icon floating in space for you to start the mission with.  To get the mission unlocked, go to the Turret Control Compartment and, using the Turrets, shoot the wrecked Republic ship until you get the message that the mission is unlocked.  Then return to the Hanger and start the mission as you usually would.

(8) Naboo
Ship Load: Must have Torpedoes on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:00 Timer.

(9) Quell
Ship Load: Any on a Separatist Ship.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 01:00 Timer.

(10) Rishi Moon
Ship Load: Rapid Fire
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 03:00 Timer.

(11) Rugosa
Ship Load: Missiles
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:30 Timer.

(12) Ruusam Moon
Ship Load: Any
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 01:30 Timer.

(13) Ryloth
Ship Load: Any
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:30 Timer.

Note: The initial environment when you move to this system is a debris-filled sector with no Gold Brick Icon to start the mission.  To activate that you need to go to the Turret Control Compartment on the Republic Battleship (Hub) and shoot debris with the turret gun until you receive the message that the mission has been unlocked.  After that you can return to the Hanger, launch, and do the mission.

(14) Saleucami
Ship Load: Must have Torpedoes.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:00 Timer.

(15) Tatooine
Ship Load: Any but Missiles work really well with this one.
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:30 Timer.

(16) Vassek
Ship Load: Any
Mission: Hit Lego objects for Studs on a 02:00 Timer.

Completing the last Space Mission unlocks the Achievement "Stealth wealth" (70 GP), the second to last Achievement for the game.  All that is left is the 100% Achievement, which you will unlock in just a moment!

Part 48: The Final Status Check and 100%

First, land at the Republic Battleship, and use the lift down and then run through the Brig (Jail) and take the lift down to the vehicle hanger, where you will find a huge pile of 130 Gold Bricks.  Your game is presently at 99.8% completion, and after you assemble the pile into the Stealth Ship, it flies off but has been added to your inventory of ships and you do not need to pay any Studs for it.

The simple act of having assembled the Gold Brick pile here will add the remaining .2%, unlocking the Achievement "Impressive, most impressive" (100 GP) completing all of the Achievements and giving you serious bragging rights!

As with the previous games in the LEGO series, the ultimate goal is to get 100% completion and unlock the coveted 100% Achievement.  To do that you will need to have the following in your game -- so here is the Final Status Check and 100% Completion Ticklist!

Note: If you do not have all of the items on the following list, that would be why you have not unlocked the 100% Achievement.  Use this list to see what you have missed, and therefor, what you need to obtain to finish the game!

End Notes and Conclusion

I would imagine that your experience with the game was similar to my own -- a long and entertaining romp in the Star Wars universe filled with familiar characters and vehicles, droids, and places.  Added to that mixture are some rather silly and anachronistic vehicles, but that just adds to the fun.

If you are not a veteran of the LEGO series of games chances are pretty good that you are a bit surprised by how complex the game is, how much content and variety that it has, and the seemingly unusual difficulty of some of the challenges -- particularly a few of the Space Battles and the Minikit challenges.

You may be wondering how a game that is clearly created for kids could contain contents and challenges that are clearly more appropriate for adults.  I do not have a simple answer for that...  It is a game created for kids, true, but then it is part of a series that blurs the line when it comes to audience, and to be honest, since you do not have to obtain all of the Achievements to finish the game, or for that matter to enjoy it, well...  Is it really that big a deal?

I enjoyed the process of playing the game and writing this guide very much.  I have tried to be sure to include the information you need to get through the many ambiguous sections, challenges, and tricky parts -- and I think I did a good job.  I hope that I did, anyway.

I want to conclude this guide by thanking you for reading and using it.  I really do appreciate your role in this -- and want you to know that I wrote it for you!

Cheers!

Shout-Outs and Thanks

Writing game guides is a complex and time consuming craft that cannot be done well without the help of others.  Any guide writer who fails to acknowledge the people that helped them to create their guide is a silly git who is only fooling themselves!

I want to thank the following Gamers for their help with many small areas of this guide, and for being there to chat, compare notes, and when needed, play co-op!

AutumnBF -- Who patiently tested all of the Cheat Codes for the game.

Barb at TT Games -- for answering questions I could not get the answer to any other way!

GSGlenn -- for providing the PS3 Trophy List.

Hellraiser -- for providing most of the cheat codes for the game.

LucasArts -- for creating the animated series, and for adding depth to the already well-loved stories.

Rich -- a very patient bloke and editor!

Swash01 -- the consummate gamer who helped with locating the harder to find bits, played co-op when it was needed, and otherwise made himself available to help.

Traveller's Tales -- For seriously making the game better by writing tight code.

YvonneBF -- who did most of the formatting, editing, and who provided a constant stream of encouragement that got us past the frustrating bits.

Finally I need to thank you, because without you this guide would never have been commissioned.  Thanks mates!
