The Pillar of Autumn

  1. First you’ll follow some basic instructions to get oriented. Use the right stick to look around and then hop out with the X button. Run around to get adjusted to the controls if necessary, then move to the red square to choose if you want inverted or regular viewing controls. Now move to the other side of the room to get your shields.
  2. Once the action actually starts, follow your guide, then go back a little ways and climb over the pipes. Hang a right and go through two doors, then you’ll break out into an open area where there is combat to your left. Follow the men and look for a door on your left to move through. Hit your flashlight if you need it (LB) and open the next door and a close call.
  3. One more door and you’ll see some more crossfire and then you can follow a marine to your goal.
  4. Now you have a gun and a mission! Head out and to the left to face your first combat…evolved. You’ll face three shorties, and remember that the X button reloads. Head straight into the next room to pick up an assault rifle and face your first alien soldier. After that, face right and take on a wave of bad guys, but it’s a nice warm up, nothing worse. Head through the door on the left side of the big room to get in behind the shorties and their shield and mop them up. Then move on through the opening, around a corridor, and get the drop on another soldier. From there, move on and to the right to find another corridor where an explosion will lead to another wave of troops.
  5. Enter the boarding craft to find an overshield, then proceed around the corner to the left to enter a dark corridor, face a few more bad guys, and proceed. Entering the next section, hang to the right to get the drop on the next wave, then move around the right corner to face a few more shorties. Hang two quick rights, then head straight toward an explosion to get behind another wave of bad guys. Get around another corner for another light wave of guys, and look for another boarding craft with overshields in it.
  6. Head through a dark corridor to face a few more soldiers, and then you’ll move past a few barrels into an area with steps that reach a level above you. There are a few shorties and two soldiers in here, so don’t rush in if you don’t want to take some damage. Otherwise, clear them out and move on. You’ll move into a dark corridor and then another space with no shortage of shorties to pick off. At the end you’ll face a soldier.
  7. Head down the next corridor to see the combat occuring outside, and you’ll get some advice from Cortana. Follow the hallway, clear up a few shorties, and then you’ll recieve a nav point to follow. Keep heading left in the tunnels until the motion tracker comes online. When you reach the end of the path, backtrack just a short ways and look for a green light on a door. Exit here.
  8. It’ll still be dark, but on the other side of this space you’ll be taught how to melee to break through a busted door. Follow the bad guys until you kill the last soldier, then head down a passage to your right. Follow the path to where you started out, and then you’ll see a series of explosion. Hang a right down a passage with some shorties, and look for a door into the access tunnels on the left at the end.
  9. Follow the tunnel and hang two lefts to see the door marked green for exiting. Be warned, there are shorties in the tunnels. Then head left into the main space for a big group of shorties At the end will be two soldiers, then around the left corner you’ll see your first elite soldier, dressed in red. Once the bad guys are cleared out, you’ll board the lifeboat and the mission is over.
  10. ACHIEVEMENT: You earn the Pillar of Autumn achievement for 25 points for escaping the collapsing ship.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

Halo

  1. Now you’re planetside. Head past the escape pod to admire the sweeping view. Then head left across the bridge and up the path you will find. Dropships will fly overhead and if you are not careful they will take potshots at you, which is rapidly deplete your shield. At the top of the hill you’ll face a handful of shorties and an elite soldier. Move over the ridge, drop down, and as you turn around the corner you’ll see a dropship’s worth of enemies. Switch to the pistol to pick some of them off at a distance to save health.
  2. Now you face a series of dropships, six of them, which land one by one in a triangle pattern around the building you’re near. Each team consists of a soldier and some shorties, including one or two with shields. It’s a lot of guys to kill, but not too many at once. When they’re all scrubbed, a ship from your team will show up and a lot more lifeboats will drop in.
  3. A Warthog jeep will be dropped for you, so grab it and head downhill. The using two thumbsticks to control it can be weird if you’re not used to it, so get the feel of it before heading down hill and going into the cavern. Once inside, just follow the path, and when you see the ramp, go to the base of it and floor it, then hold back when you hit the peak, to get across the gap.
  4. Once you reach the base of the driving section, you’ll be in a big open area, with lots of shorties. Let your gunner take them out from the Warthog, or get out and get rid of them yourself. Once the coast is clear, head up a slope to your right to activate a light bridge to cross the chasm.
  5. Drive across the bridge, out of the building, and up over the hill. Look for two blue lights on your right, and follow that path to a lifeboat. Take out the hoard of shorties, backed up by one soldier, to clear the area, then proceed up the hill to meet some more marines. Once you make contact with your side, an enemy dropship will bring in a new wave. Once they are taken care of, go back the way you came, cross the stream, and head into another gap in the canyon marked by lights.
  6. In the next section, kill the enemies that inhabit the bulidings, and then look for an opening in the main structure to go underground. At the bottom you’ll find some marines that you will rescue. Head on up to meet some resistance and then clear out the area so the dropship can come in. Get back to your Warthog and go out the way you came.
  7. The final lifeboat is back the way you came, back and to the right of the first path, out of eyeshot and going up the hill and back from where you originated. You’ll find the marines hiding under the rocks and a substantial posse of shorties with one elite will be waiting for you. After you eliminate them, a dropship will bring in another wave including two soldiers. Then the same dropship will drop off another pile of guys, including a soldier and an elite. Watch out for the ship to shoot at you from overhead, as well. It will drop two more times, leading to a very protracted exchange, the worst you’ll have faced yet. Stick with the guys for cover and cannon fodder, and pick your targets. If you get lost in the melee, you’re toast. Once you’re clear, a Pelican will arrive to take you to the next mission.
  8. ACHIEVEMENT: You earn the Halo achievement, worth 25 more points, for completing this mission

Truth and Reconciliation

  1. Following Cortana’s suggestion, head to the left, but bear to the right, staying on the higher ground. Watch out for the big plasma cannons, they pack a punch. Aim just to the upper side of them to take out the man firing it. Keep them clear to avoid much damage, and then pick off the survivors. A few more enemies will come in through the path behind the first gun, which you follow when the coast is clear.
  2. You’ll approach along the trail, and go past one cluster of bad guys, including with a plasma gun, before you reach your destination. Here you should be sneaky to maintain an advantage. You can drop a plasma gunner and a soldier almost right away, then use the trail along the left to take out as many guys as you can. When you whittle the numbers down, reinforcements will drop in. Then bad guy reinforcements will come in, bringing a new plasma gun, so watch for it. Otherwise, use your sniper rifle to maintain your advantage.
  3. After that, follow the stone bridge to a canyon that takes you to the next section. Watch out for an elite soldier in here. As soon as you emerge, there is a plasma cannon far across from you, and one directly above you. Again, take them out first, then get in one as reinforcements will come down the elevator in a number of waves, at least four. After that there will be a pause and then two big mofos will come down. Be sure to be in a plasma cannon for this, and get ready to move between them, as their fire does a lot of damage. Dance around, keep your fire on one of them at a time, and you’ll be fine. When that’s done, stand on the elevator to head up to the ship.
  4. Once on the ship, it’ll be quiet…too quiet. Expect some action, and it’ll come through each of the four doors marked with red lights. Once they open, you can use them to circle around the oncoming waves of bad guys. The first guy out will be cloaked, so keep your head up, but after that it’s mostly shorties and a few soldiers and shield bearers, spaced out enough that it’s not too bad.
  5. Head through the door that opens once you’ve cleared the enemies. The marines will set up here and it’s up to you to find a way forward. Head back up the ramp and into the first green door on the right. Follow that path through a right, then a left, and you’ll reach a point where you can see the open room that is on the other side of the door. There are a lot of bad guys in here, but most of them will be below you and easy to pick off. Once the guys are gone or at least thinned out, drop down to the radar point, hit X to open the door and let your friends in, and they’ll help you mop up the rest.
  6. Follow the next radar point to move on. Follow the path down and you will reach a large open room which will fill with enemies. There is an overshield on the far side, but you’ll be better off waiting to use it. Pick off the enemies above as soon as you can, as they will hurt you the most. Especially target the elite soldier above. After that, Cortana will bring in reinforcements and there is another wave. After that, you’ll hear about her accessing the battle net. When she does so, grab the overshield and look to the doors at the far right corner of the room from where you came in. Two more big ass guys will be coming in, and you’ll want your grenades handy. After that, you’ll leave the room, following the radar point.
  7. This time, follow the paths up. You’ll meet at least one cloaked guard and one elite in the tunnels, but when you reach the end, you’ll be in the higher portion of the shuttle bay. Take out the next wave of guards, which come from both sides, then follow the walkway to the left, enter the tunnels, and go up again. Expect to run into at least one more cloaked guard and one more elite. Then you’ll reach the top. Look for a wave of guys to your right, and then expect another one to sneak in behind you. Keep moving on and take out one more small wave and enter the door on the right for more tunnels.
  8. Once you’re out in the open again, you’ll face a sword elite, who is no fun. Ideally he’ll chase you back into a tunnel, you can hit him with a plasma grenade, and hold him in place with machine gun fire until he explodes. Take out the remainder of the men in the room, which is much easier, and follow the marker. Moving through the halls, prepare grenades to easily take out the pockets of enemies. The first room you will come to is an empty brig, follow your motion detector looking for enemy signals to find the next brig, which is not empty. There are a handful of shorties, a sword elite, and after him, two cloaked guards. Move to the end of the brig, hit the button, and free the prisoners.
  9. Unfortunately now you have to fight your way back out and not let him get killed. Two cloaked guards will rush the room and then you’ll have a running fight through the corridors back to the bridge. Use energy weapons as much as possible, rather than the needler, it’s much more effective against the guys you’ll be facing. Two cloaked sword elites are waiting on the bridge. Once you clear it out, there will be a story point, then go up onto the platform and use the purple glowing terminal.
  10. ACHIEVEMENT: You get 10 points for the What Have We Here Achievement.
  11. Take out the enemies raiding you, then follow the marker to the dropship. Clear out the shuttle bay balcony, then hit X near the terminal to release the ship.
  12. ACHIEVEMENT: You earn Truth and Reconcilliation for 25 points for clearing this mission.
  13. ACHIEVEMENT: You earn 25 points for finishing the level with the Truth and Reconciliation achievement.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

The Silent Cartographer

  1. First thing’s first, clear the LZ. There are two soldiers and two elites here, so switch to the pistol and drop them with headshots from a distance if you can. When the area is secure, you’ll get a warthog. Take the warthog around the corner and up the sloping path. You can kill the guys on the way, but you don’t have to. Cortana will point out an entrance on the cliff, which looks like a fortress. Take out some of the guys you can see with the warthog before proceeding, as there are a number of soldiers up there, including an elite. A few grenades thrown into the building will give you an edge, too. If you stand on (or under) the facility and look out to the shore, there is an overshield beside two crates, as well.
  2. Head into the base and down to the bottom. You’ll see a room full of guys when you get there, but one grenade and some light fire should do the trick, as it is a small space. Then you’ll have to head back out and keep going around the island. Again, let the warthog do the heavy lifting where possible. You’ll be directed to a path up into the hills, fiercely guarded by an assortment of bad guys, and at the top is a base where you will find the button you need. And also two big ass guys. Hopefully you picked up some plasma grenades by now. Look for health and ammo on the rise straight ahead before you descend to the fight. There should be overshields right above you, which should give you all the edge you need. Keep your distance and keep hitting them. After that, find the button under the building and hit it.
  3. Follow the path out and up further into the hills to face an elite and a few more shorties. If you still have your overshield, this shouldn’t be hard. Work your way around the building and onto the next ledge, kill a wave of shorties, grab another overshield, and enter the new building.
  4. Down here you’ll face two big ass guys, but you can actually run right past them, hit the switch which disables the security door, and go right back if you prefer. Then you’ll get an emergency call and Cortana will direct you to follow the beach, which means go back the way you came. When you reach the previous facility, now you’ll have to put down two more bigass mofos. Good times. Then head down into the facility through the door that closed on you earlier.
  5. When you reach the bottom, hang a right for a cut scene, and then head to the left. There are some shorties, two soldiers, and an elite waiting for you. If you look up to your right you can go up a small ramp to take an elevated position. From that ramp, you can see a door across the way that you will take once the room is clear. It leads you down a series of ramps, into a room that has some shield guys in it, and two more big ass guards. Fortunately, they can’t chase you very much. Look at the far end of the area to the right for health and ammo, and stay out of the central area where the guards are. You can get them better than they can get you. Then look to your left and go down some more ramps.
  6. Now you have a long way to go down and the path is not clear. Just keep looking for ramps to go down. Eventually you’ll pass through a door, when you do, look to your left for some camoflague, them drop off the ledge to move on. When you finally reach the lowest level, you’ll face a soldier and an elite, A grenade at the end of the corridor will take care of them, and then you’ll reach the activation point that you’re after.
  7. Now you have to haul ass back to the surface. There will be plenty of guys to combat, but I didn’t bother. Near the top you will hit two sword elites, and a well-placed grenade will put both of them down easily. At the top, you’ll face three cloaked guards, who can quickly get the drop on you if you’re not careful.

  8. ACHIEVEMENT: You earn 25 points for The Silent Cartographer for completing this mission.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

Assault on Enemy Command

  1. Hop off the Pelican and watch for the door to open. Odds are it’ll be an elite soldier first, so be prepared for that. After, drop a few shorties and head into the tunnel. In the next big room are two soldiers, and a bunch of shorties. Keep on the trail and you’ll break out into the open. Some of the shorties here are asleep on the job, so get a drop on them while you can. Then you’ll notice a Pelican that shouldn’t be here. Take the next section as you will, top or bottom. There are enough shorties to be a hassle, an elite on the bottom and a sword elite on top when you reach the end. Do NOT approach the end from the bottom once you’ve cleared the area out, you’re asking for a head chop.
  2. After the next set of halls, you’ll reach a section that opens up into another big room such as you just experienced. In here are a cloaked guard and about 10 shorties. Make sure the cloaked guy doesn’t get the drop on you, and you’ll be fine. Look for a lighted passageway which will lead you to an elevator. Use it.
  3. In the next section there will be a lot of snoozing shorties, so take them down before they have a chance to hit back. There’s also an elite in here and a couple of shield guards. No problem by now.
  4. Follow the path and you will break out into the open. Now you get a chance to do some real damage. Take out the two turrets first, one is right to your left, one is ahead of you on your right. To your left, near the Warthog, is a SPANKR missle and a sniper rifle. Then hop in the ghost, figure out the controls, and take out that tank! Afterward, moping up the rest of the guys is easy. In the next section, you have the option to jump in a Scorpion, and there is an empty ghost, so destroy it, and be prepared for two more to come out of the cave. Put them down fast. My tactic was to head through the cave, take out the turrets on the other side with the Ghost, the return for the Scorpion. Either way, clear out the enemies or avoid them, get to the bottom of the ramp (surprise, two big asses!) and hit the button to open the door.
  5. In the next section, look to yoru right for SPANKR missles. You have to move to both sides to take out plasma cannons and every shortie you can find so they won’t be rearmed, then drop the big guys across the way with sniper fire or missles, then run for the door.
  6. Hit the button and move through the next door. Here you’ll get a chance to grab another Ghost, so do so. You can fight your way through or just cruise, but head to the end of the next section, as a dropship comes in with enemy reinforcements. Hit the end and hang a right, drop down a level, and head into the far corner, where there is a passage behind some columns. You’ll come out in the open, and there is a plasma cannon way high up behind you, and three up ahead, along with two ghosts and an attack fighter. Clear them or skip them, but the door you need to get out is all the way up on the right, between two cannons.
  7. There’s a room with some shorties and a soldier in it, clear it and find another elevator shaft, where you will go up this time.
  8. Follow the arrows on the floor through a reverse of the way you came. You’ll hit another skybridge, this time with a parallel one beside it instead of under it, then eventually back across it the other way. Otherwise, nothing too challenging, more of the same patterns and enemies. When you reach another lit alcove that leads to an upward passage, rather than a downward one, keep an eye out on the right for two cloaked sword guards. Then you’ll break out into the open air again, run across the chasm, through another short series of rooms, then up another elevator. Finally, after a few more rooms, you’ll break out into the open again. Up to your right is a temple, and Cortana advises you to take the Ghost, but it is a pain to navigate up the ramps, which go left, right, etc, and which are scattered with frustrating debris. Look out for big guys at the top and hit the switch on the right to open the door. A huge mess of guys will be inside, including a sword elite. A couple of grenades, thankfully, will help you no end if you didn’t stay in the Ghost. A few more big doors that are the same, and you finally made it!
  9. ACHIEVEMENT: Can you guess what this achievement is called? Of course you can. And you can probably guess that it’s worth 25 points, too!

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

343 Guilty Spark

  1. Head down to the right and around the slope to get up it from the back side. There will be a few shorties along the way. Climb up the ridge and cross a tree bridge to reach the next ridge, take out the shield guards and shorties there, and enter the facility.
  2. Hop on the elevator and take it down. Look for bad guy signals on your radar, follow them, and take most of them out with a grenade in the small space. Then head through the door. Drop down off the ledge, take out the shield guys to the right, and enter their door. Follow the green door into a big open room. Head to the left through another green door with a few shield guys on the way, then into another “canyon” room. The door is a hop up on the right. Now you’ll get a clue as to why it is so damn quiet.
  3. Head up the burning ramp to exit a door above where you came in. Hit the button on your left to activate the bridge and proceed. Head down the ramp for cutscene goodness.
  4. And now things get exciting. Meet the Flood. You’ll have to hold off these guys until two dooks break open, and you can leave through the fourth, at the end of the room and go back the way you came. Just hose ‘em down with the machine gun, at least there’s plenty of ammo. Cross the bridge, and then loop around to the right for a door. Look for a door to your right again, and you’ll be in a new area.
  5. Head through the generator room, hang a right, and kill your way to the elevator, which sadly goes further down, not up to safety. On the bottom, be prepared for things to get rugged. Enter into a cargo room, with a malfunctioning bridge. Drop down and go through the door on the left, move through the square corridor, and into the room on the far side. Look for a pile of debris in the corner to climb to reach the next level, then look for the green door.
  6. After that, the path is easy, follow the green doors, but if you drop down a level you may have to loop back a bit. Keep going until you reach another glowing bridge to deploy, and on the far side of that is an elevator and you’re home free.
  7. ACHIEVEMENT: You earn Breaking Quarantine for 25 points for getting the hell out.
  8. Get out of the base, head toward the red lights, and you’ll find a building. Loop around it to unlock the chapter’s title character and end the chapter.
  9. ACHIEVEMENT: Here is where you earn this chapter’s achievement for 25 points.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

The Library

  1. Welcome to The Library. While this section isn’t particularly easy, it also isn’t easy to describe, as all you do is follow the floating psycho. Later you can also follow the arrows on the floor. You’ll start with the shotgun, but since you’re facing the FLOOD you will probably change weapons often as you’ll kill guys with guns more than you’ll find ammo. Just keep moving, don’t be afraid to get ahead or behind the Monitor. When the security drones come out, you’re just a little way from the elevator.
  2. At the top, the Monitor will ditch you almost immediately. Gather ammo if you can, and there are health packs below the path in the first little slope you see as he will ditch you to do a job and you’ll have to hold your position. This is where the endurance starts. There’s no advice, as there’s no pattern you just have to be better than the monsters. He’ll lead you a little further, and then you’ll have another endurance point while he opens a door. However this time the Flood will be armed and shoot a bit more often than you’re used to. I even saw one guy with a SPANKR, so be on your guard.
  3. Follow the next path, and when you reach what looks like the end, you’re going to enter a tunnel in the floor and pop out on the other side. After that, you’re almost there, look for an arrow or two on the floor, keep your wits about you, and you’ll reach another giant elevator.
  4. One more time with feeling. Look for the tunnel in the floor soon, keep moving, follow the arrows, protect yourself while the huge door opens, go through the tunnels in the floor, etc. If the arrows wind up facing the wrong way, you got past the Monitor, go find him and follow him.
  5. There will be one more endurance section, followed by another elevator, then another few turns. When the Monitor opens the final door, a giant glowing elevator will be in front of you and the flood will do what they do, and they’ll be using their guns well for a change. Either run like hell or clean up the area before you do anything else.
  6. ACHIEVEMENT: You get 25 points for The Library achievement for completing the level.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

Two Betrayals

  1. Now you find out the truth about Halo and Cortana is back again. Kill the drones now, which are easy if you have an energy weapon. Run to the far side of the platform to the glowy thing and activate the button for some more story. Then head toward the giant door and hit the button on the right to get out. Take out the bad guys at the sentinels, then proceed through the doors to the outside. Head to the bottom of the base, and look for a Banshee fighter. You can dive right into it, or clear the area first, but either way, fly up to the nav point.
  2. This one is simple. Enter, take out the energy generator, and then kill the six or so Sentinels that show up to finish you off. Outside, hop back into the Banshee and fly down to the next point. This one is a bit more complicated. You’ll remember the base, so the path is straightforward, but the energy generator isn’t right inside the door this time. Follow the arrows going the wrong direction, across the bridge, then across the bridge the other way, down the elevator, and then outside again. Grab a ghost and head to the left, through the tunnel, up the path, and in the next area, haul ass to the left where there are a couple of Banshees. Grab one and fly up to the next nav point.
  3. The base will be very familiar and at least this time there’s not a long journey. However, as the pulse will deplete your shield, you’ll need to clear the room before you shut off the generator.
  4. Take the Banshee as far as you can to the next nav point, then ditch it and keep moving. When you reach the outside again, you’ll have to go to the FAR end to find some empty Banshees. Bring one back to the nav point, take out the energy generator, and you’re done.
  5. ACHIEVEMENT: You get the typical 25 points for Two Betrayals, completing this level.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

Keyes

  1. Head straight into the tunnels, looking for green doors. You’ll meet a mix of Covenant and Flood, but nothing too rough. Drop into the green pit when you find it, then follow the trail around, to the right, and then up. Soon Cortana will give you a nav point, which leads to the grav lift. Keep your shotgun handy for the mix of bad guys, again flood AND Covenant, and you’ll have to hold position for a while as the lift comes online.
  2. Soon Cortana will give you another marker to follow, which is pretty straightforward. When you reach the lower part of the two story room, you’ll find a dead end where you can drop through a hole in the floor. Continue following the path and you’ll reach your destination. Again, stick with the nav point, you’ll enter the shuttle bay, move up several floors, and then find the captain in the familiar bridge of the alien ship.
  3. The leaving is very, very difficult, the tunnels will be flooded with enemies. Take out the first wave of flood that enters the bridge before you go into the tunnels. Then return to the shuttle bay ASAP. You’ll want to drop down two levels rather than running through more tunnels. Drop once, let your shield recover, then drop down again, hop in a Banshee, and escape.
  4. ACHIEVEMENT:
  5. You earn 25 more points for finishing the Keyes level.

Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Walkthrough

The Maw

  1. Enter the ship via the pod port, hang a left, and look for a tunnel to enter. You will see Sentinels, leave them alive as they’ll take our more flood for you. Hang a left again, and look for a hole in the floor with flood pouring out of it. Proceed slowly here or you can easily be overwhelmed. Drop down and keep going down the halls until you reach a door. Through that some Covenant will show up. Next is the cafeteria area where you faced your first real combat so many hours ago. There is a very heavily shielded elite in here, and he likes to throw plasma grenades, so take him out before you move ahead and to the left, into another corridor.
  2. Hang a left and move into the corridors. You will see lots of fighting between the flood and the Covenant, including some big mofos, but feel free to skip on by them and keep heading down the halls. A couple more corridors and you’ll reach the area where you were “birthed”. It is filled with bad guys, including Sentinels. You can enter the room on the right or the left, and find a ladder at the end of the room on either side to get up onto the catwalk to reach the terminal back above where you entered. Hit the terminal for a cutscene.
  3. Head to your right to exit the terminal room, then hang a left and run down the wide corridor (head all the way straight for an overshield) and enter the tunnels. A couple of rights and you’ll be in the thick of it again, including more Sentinels and some big mofos. If you haven’t by now, it’s a good idea to have an energy weapon and a conventional one to deal with the different enemies. If you turn left and head all the way down the tunnel where it’s going to hell, you’ll find an armory where you can pick up a SPANKR if you’re feeling aggro. Note on the floor the arrows to the armory and engineering. Once you’re finished loading for bear, backtrack to the engineering door.
  4. In engineering, you’ll have to take out four cores. Use the buttons marked on your screen, up three levels, to retract the machine. Then drop down onto it, face back toward where you were, and throw a grenade or shoot a missle into the exposed core. Every time you’ll have to drop back down to where you started, which is time consuming, and more flood keep coming, as well as more Sentinels. Unfortunately, once you’re done, you’ll have to ascend to the third level one more time to follow the marker to the elevator that lets you escape. Arm the shotgun or something equally powerful before you reach the elevator, as it is stacked with welcoming Covenant.
  5. Head down the tunnel, flip the warthog, and get ready to roll. The timer will depend on the difficulty level, and if you’re not a great driver this will murder you. A lot. It looks easy until you reach the extraction point and realize you have to go just as far again. So if you don’t have enough time on the timer, kill yourself and start over. The tunnels feature a basic one path down, one path up, one path down set up, with an occasional internal tunnel with S-curves that you need to navigate. Speed and balance here are really the issue, the more you fall out, the more time just vanishes. Once you reach the end of the trail at the obstacles, get out, run to the nav point and onto the waiting ship. Ta da!
  6. ACHIEVEMENT: You earn another 25 points for finishing the level, plus some bonus points depending on what difficulty you chose to play the game at.
