Nova, the Dominion Ghost Skills and Abilities - Heroes of the Storm


November "Nova" Terra, the Dominion Ghost, is an assassin hero from the Starcraft franchise. She is a ghost of the Dominion, a combat unit gifted with psychic abilities, out of which Nova represents the elite of the elite. Nova is determined and ready for anything to accomplish her mission and Jim Raynor will have to be careful not to become her target...


Super Nova

November "Nova" Terra spent the best parts of her youth as the golden child of one of Tarsonis' wealthy Old Families. Though she exhibited signs of burgeoning psionic potential, Nova's parents insisted that she was merely sensitive or "empathetic," hoping to keep her abilities a secret.

A successful mission until her family was violently betrayed and her telekinetic powers became destructively apparent, Nova was forced into hiding in the crime-ridden slums of Tarsonis' Gutter. The story of Nova's emergence from the Gutter is apocryphal, but the burden of psionic abilities and the pain of her family's ruin led her to seek refuge among the very Ghosts her parents hoped to keep her from: the Ghost Academy.

Supremely dedicated, Nova excelled as a trainee in the Ghost Academy on Ursa, eventually earning the questionable reward of a mind-wipe that erased all recollection of her tragic youth – and the majority of her long-term memory with it.

As a full-fledged Ghost operative, Nova's duties have included battling zerg, investigating the psionic killers known as Spectres, and even dealing with noted enemy of the people Jim Raynor.


Nova's Abilities: A long distance thing

Nova is a stealthy assassin who can become invisible when she is out of combat to use her devastating abilities on targets who aren't expecting it! A lot of damage, but her lack of mobility forces Nova to choose her battles wisely and carefully position herself to avoid a quick death, very quick against other assassins!

(D) Permanent Cloak

Nova cloaks when out of combat for 2.5 seconds. Taking damage or attacking reveals her.

(Q) Snipe

- 75 Mana
- Skillshot
- Cooldown: 12 seconds


Deals 800 (135 + 35 per level) damage to the first target it contacts.

(W) Pinning Shot

- 80 Mana
- Cooldown: 15 seconds


Deals 410 (68 + 18 per level) damage to an enemy and slows it by 30% for 2.25 seconds.

(E) Holo Decoy

- 60 Mana
- Cooldown: 15 seconds


Spawns a cloaked decoy for 5 seconds that appears to attack enemies.

(R)  Triple Tap

- 100 Mana
- Heroic Ability
- Cooldown: 60 seconds


Reveals the target Hero and after 0.8 second, fires 3 shots that strike the first Hero or Structure they come in contact with. Each shot deals 740 (113 + 33 per level) damage.

(R) Precision Strike

- 100 Mana
- Heroic Ability
- Cooldown: 60 seconds


After a short delay, deals 1000 (335 + 35 per level) damage to enemies within target area. Unlimited range.
