Plants vs. Zombies 2: Surviving Level 4 in Frostbite Caves

Plants vs. Zombies 2 can be quite challenging! There is one redeeming part about its difficulty level, however, and that is the way zombies spawn. There is always a similar pattern, which allows you to learn how to successfully make it through a level. We here at browsergamez.com make it our goal to help you through the most difficult levels in the tower defense game.

Level 4 of the Frostbite Caves can be quite overwhelming at first. As soon as the first zombie spawns, there is not a single break for you to get an overview. Even before the first big wave begins, your entire screen will most likely be filled with the walking dead. We did find a way to quite easily make it through the stage however! Equip yourself with Sunflower, Snapdragon, Lightning Reed, Infi-Nut, Bowling Bulb, and Hot Potato to battle it out against Cave Zombies, Cave Coneheads, Bucketheads, and Hunter Zombies. You need the Hot Potatoes to thaw whatever plants the Hunter Zombies have frozen.

Our winning strategy!

Aside from that, we recommend quickly positioning as many Sunflowers as possible – but you will need no more than five. Destroy the first approaching zombie with a Lightning Reed and support it with a Bowling Bulb. Defend yourself with your first Infi-Nut and then slowly but surely work towards the pattern on our screenshot above! We recommend using any green leaves for Bowling Bulbs or Lightning Reeds.
