Hay Day Cheats, Tips & Hack for Diamonds & Coins

Hay Day is a farming game in the freemium category which was released for iOS in June 2012 . The game received instant success and was earning $30 million in a single month combined with the income of Clash of Clans. Currently Hay Day is the seventh top grossing game on the app store and remains in the top sixty free iPad apps.

Hay Day is a game created by the company Supercell, the same company that brought you Clash of Clans. It is a farm strategy game similar to the popular farming simulation game Farmville and can be played on both Android and iOS platforms. The concept of the strategic game is to build a successful farm. You take on the role of a farmer after your “Uncle Greg” decides that it is finally time for him to retire and pass the farm along to you. You quickly accept Uncle Greg’s offer and thus begins the game.

Hay Day starts off rather quickly as you level up rapidly. You’re given different opportunities to grow different crops without having to invest money in buying the crop. The way you make money is by selling the crops or goods through the villager requests on the board by your house, and at level 7 you are able to open up the roadside shop which will allow you to sell your wares to both the entire Hay Day community or to your friends within the game.

While building your farm in Hay Day, you’re going to need a lot of resources like diamonds and coins to build the ultimate farm.  Saving up coins can take a long time and no one wants to pay real money for diamonds.  That’s why we’ve added a hack tool for Hay Day to AGC.

The Hay Day hack tool will let you add unlimited amounts of diamonds and coins to your Hay Day account.  It works for both Android and iOS devices and is tested to be safe.  Simply download the free Hay Day hack tool to get started.  Once you download and install the hack, you’ll see a screen like the one pictured below.

Hay Day Cheats & Tips

A couple game tips to remember are that over the course of the game you’re allowed to build buildings, those take hours so it’s best to almost do them overnight so that they are ready to be used in the time you want to play. Also if you’re constantly running out of food, make sure you’re producing feed while the animals are waiting to be harvested from. And make sure you upgrade the station to have at least one additional wait space. Another thing to keep in mind is the balance of crops you have and crops you are producing. The game does a good job reminding you that you’ll use or sell your last crop and if you’re sure you want to do that. So instead of selling it, plant it and wait as the return is two for every one planted. The Roadside Shop that opens as you level up to level 7 is another help. It’s a quick way to dump excess crops from your silo and make a quick buck. I recommend selling the product at least 30% lower than the maximum asking price. Also try to fulfill the mini accomplishments, they are there to help you gain more experience (therefore letting you level up) and get the stars for free.

If you’re in a hurry to make some quick cash, the first thing you’ll want to do is to look through the newspaper, this will help you out in finding things for cheap, when doing this trick, it’s always best to go for the items that are selling in bulk. You’ll want to go ahead and buy these items. Once you’ve gona ahead and done that, go and put them in your market stall between one hundred and eighty and two hundred and twenty coins each. One the very last item you list, put an ad out for it, that way, it will attract people to come and buy the rest of the items you have on sale.

Since Hay Day is a server sided game, it is very difficult to find any legitimate working hacks for the game, so it’s usually best to just stick with simple tips like the ones I mentioned above.

Hay Day Review

One of the great things about this game is that it allows you to grow the farm at a pace that suits exactly what you want to be doing and when you want to be doing it, so you don’t end up piling too much on yourself, each level up also offers a multitude of beneficial opportunities. You’re able to buy animals and a pen at the same time to keep things organized. You also don’t have anything permanent and stationary. If you want to move it around later in the game for aesthetic or reasons of space, it is completely allowed. The other pro is that there are wait spaces in the feed production station, dairy, sugar mill, among others. One of the best thing this game has going for it is its incredibly graphics, they are beautifully detailed and really seems to offer much more than many other farming simulations.

The game’s controls are easy to use, moving around your farm is a very smooth process and make use of your devices touch screen very well, for example, when farming crops, all you need do it tap once, hoit the scythe and drag it across all of your available crops. The process of collecting your animal byproducts is also the same, which makes navigating through the game a whole lot easier. There is also Facebook integration, which makes connecting with any friends who also play the game a very simple thing.

A few of the things that really bothered me about Hay Day are that the buttons can be a bit confusing at times. A lot of the concept is click and drag which can get quite dull very quickly. I’ve had issues remembering and therefore have gotten frustrated in getting things done. Another big issue is that the notifications that it gives are only when all the crops are grown or when all the animals are ready to be harvested from. Some crops like wheat take minutes while other take half an hour to an hour. Another con is that the saws and axes are a one-time use. It’s hard to fine more to purchase or to find randomly on crops and that makes the beginning harder because you’ll have to maneuver space to make things fit in.

It also limits you to the amount of animals you can own. I’m not sure if it limits you to the amount of stables, as I’m not that far into the game just yet. One of the things that bothered me the most was the fact that at times I felt like I wouldn’t be able to get anywhere if I didn’t spend my precious diamonds, so I felt like I was subtly being pushed into spending actual money on the game which wouldn’t really be so bad if it didn’t hinder any progress I might make.

Overall, I think this game is great despite its flaws. If you one of the many fans of farming sims, Hay Day is bound to keep you entertained for quite some time.

Ratings:

Artwork: I give Hay Day an 8/10 For its artwork. It’s not the most original of art (the buildings and layout) but it has good, consistent color, the default trees come in two different sizes, there are boulders and even a lake and cliff. I won’t give it a 10 because its structures are similar to others found in other games.

Music and SFX: I give the game a 10/10 for its music and SFX.. Even though it’s often a loop scheme of sounds, one thing that attracted me was that it’s not overly loud. The sound also does not overpower the speakers. An added bonus is the cutesy sounds that it makes to celebrate any accomplishments. Overall the thing that won me over was that I could still listen to my own music without having to worry about shutting off the sounds that came with the game. It allows for the player to enjoy the game all the while listening to their own jams.

Story and Originality: I give the game a 6/10 for its Story and Originality. Let’s face it, we’ve seen the farming game before, and this has a lot of similarities, it just feels like Supercell is trying to make the next Farmville, only I’m not too sure how well they do it. It does introduce more interesting characters and gives the player a lot more to go with. The levels do give you back more than just a single animal or crop and you have better opportunities to earn money than just with the actual crops and animals alone.

General Gameplay: I give Hay Day a 7/10 for its general gameplay. The game is very easy to play and figure out. It also tries to include simple instructions for the player to get an idea of how to play it. But like I said it’s pretty simple and gives a lot of benefits to the player, but the fact that it’s not going to notify you as to how your crops are growing as huge con in my book. As is the click and drag. The problem other than remembering is that the screen also has a tendency to move with your hand as well. That can make it annoying.

Addictiveness: I give the game a 10/10 for it addictiveness. I often found myself checking my iPad to see what I could and couldn’t do while I waited for crops to finish or products to be done. Maybe this is why it doesn’t tell you as the crops are growing so that you can constantly check the app? It’s an incredibly easy game to play so therefore you have the habit of constantly checking it. You also might find yourself investing in buying the diamonds to make things happen faster.

Overall, I rate Hay Day 8/10.
