Looney Tunes Dash Cheats, Tips & Hack for Looney Bucks & Coins

So when I was a kid, I watched the ever popular Looney Tunes and always wanted to be a part of that crazy crazy world, with this new game, I can do that! Zynga and Looney Tunes have recently teamed up to bring everyone’s childhood dream to life. The creation is Looney Tunes Dash.

They mixed the popular endless running game with the Looney Tunes characters to create a new way to experience the popular TV show. What makes this different from the traditional endless running game is that it has a fixed final point. You run for just one level, conquering goals before you finish the level. This multi-level game allows a different variety to the standard endless running game. Starting with level 1, you’re able to play as the big man himself, Bugs Bunny, as you try to outrun Elmer Fudd himself. The Tasmanian Devil, Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, and Porky Pig all make appearances throughout the level to make the level either more challenging or give you opportunities to earn bonus points by stomping on them or crashing into them.

This game is challenging enough with the many obstacles that are thrown across your way. But in true Looney Tunes fashion there has to be some humor involved and this game is nothing short of humorous. The game was released in December 2014 and has great potential. As you make it onto later levels of the game you’re able to play on as the Roadrunner, Tweety Bird as well as Daffy Duck in their own environments.

Looney Tunes Dash is currently running version 1.43.18 and requires your device to be running at least iOS version 6.0 or later. The game is available for free download, although there are optional in app purchase available. You are able to play the game in multiple languages, so there should be no language barriers for international players. The game has Facebook integration, which make accessing your game data across multiple platforms super easy. Looney Tunes Dash Cheats & Tips

Compared to the many endless runners on the market these days, Looney Tunes is totally different. Many other games in the same genre use randomly generated levels, which is something that Looney Tunes Dash doesn’t do. Each level you play has been specially made that way, not just implanted with code to keep it random and different as possible. This is good for you and it allows you to get to know all of the levels. Even if you find that you initially suck at one of the more complex levels, if you play that level enough, you’ll eventually know every twist and turn, so that way, nothing is a surprise to you. If you don’t want to have to play through the levels repeatedly yourself, there are a few videos of gameplay floating around YouTube which could be very helpful to the struggling player.

When studying the roads and such of a very difficult level, take note of when the power ups and special items are, hopefully, with enough practice, you’ll be able to get some really high scores. Also, watch out for where other characters suddenly pop up in the level because that is where they’ll always pop up and you will be able to learn exactly how and when to avoid them.

On the odd occasion, there will be other paths marked as Danger Zones, the difficulty of these special paths isn’t really a whole lot harder than the regular paths. If possible, always try to hit these paths as they will reap the most and best rewards, for example, you’re more likely to find collectible cards. They’re also a great help in completing certain objectives too.

Bear in mind that you also have your secondary special abilities which can really help you out when you come across the really congested areas of each level as they can clear a safe path for you to take. SO if you’re not sure you’re going to be able to make it through a certain area, activate your special abilities and you’ll be invincible and home free.

Always take note of the spin that you get before you begin a new level asit can sometimes set you a special objective which will earn you special items. Try to learn what the various symbols of the spinning wheel mean as it will really help you out in the long run. You’ll know what to do to bring in the big buck and ultimately, a great star rating for your effort.

When you play the game, it’s always a good thing to keep in mind that each enemy character that impedes your chance at victory in the level always has some kind of cue that they’re about to pop up and annoy you. The cues will usually be a little recognizable sound which you can associate with whatever character is going to show up. Learn these sounds and you won’t be as easily phased when an enemy character pops up unexpectedly. Make sure you play the game with a little volume so you can hear what’s going on in the game as hearing the sound will provide you with an extra couple of seconds to decide how to avoid to the best of your ability.

If you see a random floating power up, it’s there for a reason, so grab it because at some point in the level it could be crucial to you being obtain collectibles. Because of the fact that the level is the same no matter how many times you play through it, ensure you scout out the locations of special power ups on your first run through; you’ll be prepared to grab everything the next time. But remember, the power ups have a limited amount of active time, so use them carefully and wisely.

Looney Tunes Dash Review

What I enjoyed about this game was the fulfillment of childish nostalgia. It was also good to actually get somewhere with all that running and if you died not having to start from the beginning all over again. That being said sometimes not making through the level the first time meant that you’d have to do it again and again until you did; thus giving you that feeling of running the same thing over and over again. On that note, I do want to clarify that the theme for each set of levels is the same. With Bugs Bunny you’re essentially running through the woods and it varies little with obstacles and challenges added to mix the scene.

Now let me talk about the ways that the game completely drove me up the wall. For starters, to me it felt that the game was released prematurely. There will be times that I’ll be swiping down or left and the game won’t react as fast therefore making me lose out on coins or worse, making me lose a life. Also unlike most endless games where your lives are also infinite, with Looney Tunes Dash you’re given a specific amount of lives to begin with. You have 5 that over the course of 18 minutes after you lose one will recharge. But if you lose in the middle of the game you’re able to use premium money to carry on. A plus to the finite lives is that you’re able to gain a life by watching an ad, I’ve seen 4 in a row, but I’m not sure how long the promotion is for that.

In the game you have to accomplish challenges. For the first set of levels you can do anything from just making it to the end, to collecting carrots, to smashing crates or barrels. From this you’ll accumulate points and you can challenge friends by linking it to your Facebook. Doing so gives you 10 dollars to use later in the game.

Before each level, you’re also given the opportunity to participate in a mini roulette. You can pick the prize you get while you play the level. And the options vary from additional coins, to a crash helmet that allows you to survive a crash, extra points for smashing barrels or crates, extra points for jumping over or stomping Daffy, Yosemite Sam, or Elmer Fudd, double points on the giant coins, getting barrels smashed or crates before the level begins, or even extra coins. And during the levels there is various power ups allotted to you, for each character they get a special ability that recharges just by running around or instantly by crashing into a balloon as well as different power ups that are given out. The main three are the ACME Vac that pretty much sucks up everything in its path; great for coins and accumulating the needed carrots or bird seed. The Gossamer Potion that magically turns you into Gossamer, you know the large, hairy orangey monster with the heart shaped face that wears sneakers, his ability is to smash through anything, rocks, trees, TNT, and any characters with ease. And lastly, the Super Hero which allows you to fly for a small period of time all the while is accomplishing your goal from the safety of being above everyone else.

It’s a novelty to play as your favorite character, hear the familiar sounds and voices, and get to reenact the television show of trying to out run the bad guy. The humor is lost as is the story. You’re basically playing a divided up running game between levels that gives this game bonus points. But the fact that lives do run out on a typical endless running game give this game major anger issues. It’s a great game for kids and adults alike, and could be a possible standalone game with no prior experience with the actual franchise. Go ahead and check it out, you’ll probably have better luck that I did with the game. It’s frustrating but weirdly satisfying at times.

Ratings:

Artwork: I give Looney Tunes Dash a 10/10 for its artwork. It’s great to see what they’ve done with the original cartoon. The character is not modified in any unrecognizable manner nor is the scenery bad to look at. It’s got great graphics that flow well with the moving screen and don’t give a feeling of un-brokenness.

Music and Sound Effects: I give the game a 10/10 for its music and SFX. Mel Blanc would be incredibly proud of what the creators have done with their music and sound effects in this game. As a fan of the old school show back in the 90’s, hearing the different voices and catch phrases make the game a better experience. From the moment the game loads up, you hear the familiar Merrie Melodies tune that gets you in the mood and feeling extremely nostalgic, you just can’t help yourself from humming to the tunes of your childhood. The sound effects that come from the jumping sounds, crashing and when you pick something up are in true spirit of the game.

Story and Originality: I give the game a 5/10 for its story and originality. While it’s basically using the concept of a running game, it does divide the whole game up into levels, my issue with that being that while it is levels, there’s really no story behind the game at all. It’s basically , the main Looney Tunes character, being chased, I suppose this does allow for the player to make up their own scenario, especially if you are a fan of the show and can fondly remember many storylines about the character you’re playing as. There is no reasoning other that what you remember from your childhood or experience with the show. It’s a basic game that is meant to entertain you more with the novelty of the characters than an actual story. The biggest issue was that it lacked the intended humor and wittiness that the Looney Tunes cartoon offered on television. Since you’re mainly running away, there isn’t that silly back and for teasing between characters.

General Gameplay: I give the game a7/10 for its general gameplay. The challenges are interesting enough as it is but sometimes you’re feeling you’re getting the rhythm of the game only to be cut off by the fact that your lives are up. It’s not worth losing the rhythm to try again either. So that’s a major downside. It’s got great streaming and loads rather consistently so that’s a plus. Some of the controls are slightly difficult to handle too. One thing that bothered me a lot was that the instructions were given to you as you were running though the game. Not before the game or while it was loading but as you’re doing the actual level. So apart from trying to navigate around, you’re also trying to learn the way to play the game.

Addictiveness: I give the game a 5/10 for its addictiveness. I found myself getting mostly frustrated with the game from the beginning and that was a major downside to my ability to get into the game. It’s not beneficial for me to get involved in a game that angers me 75% of the time that I’m trying to enjoy it. I mainly kept going back to it because of the characters and to see who came out next. That’s the main attraction to the game, to play as your childhood favorite characters.

Overall, I give Looney Tunes Dash 7/10.
