The new Xbox One exclusive, Ryse: Son of Rome, has plenty of collectibles for players to find. Collectibles unlock a variety of rewards and secrets in the game. One collectible known as chronicles will unlock some pretty cool concept art from the creation of the single-player part of the game. Chronicles are found inside wooden buckets and they will slightly glow as you get closer.
There are 42 of these collectibles total, and finding them can get you some achievements. Finding your first one will grant the 10 point “Something I Found on the Way to the Forum” achievement, collecting 6 in a level to make a comic book grants the 10 point “Avid Reader” achievement, and finding them all gets you the 15 point “Finders Keepers” achievement. Go into the castle with Nero. Look for a small alleyway. Turn left and look by the door next to the vase.
After getting the first chronicle, go up the stairs on the left and follow the path to end. Look to the right.
From the above location, go up the stairs to the right and then take a left and find the chronicle by the railing.
Find this chronicle in the courtyard. Look for it next to the fountain.
After you cross the bridge and get to the small alleyway, find the chronicle on the right in front of a door.
In the area where the path is blocked by a bridge, look for a platform you can jump on. Jump and look to right to see the chronicle.
At the first destroyed ship, go into the lower area of the ship and get the chronicle.
Leave the second destroyed ship and go left. Go down the beach and go left again to find the chronicle by some rocks.
Get to the area where there are two paths (one will be on fire). Take the unlit path and find the chronicle inside.
Before you join the people at the beach, go right to the beach and get the chronicle.
After you kill the second group of archers, climb down and go to the right to find the chronicle.
After you jump over a log, go to the right and follow the path to get the chronicle at the end.
Drop down at the start of the level and kill some Barbarians. Then go right until you see a downed tree. Duck under and follow the path to get to the chronicle.
After you pass the area with rocks, go right and find the chronicle near a tree.
Get to the area where you need to move a crate and use a lift. Before you get on the lift, go right to find the chronicle.
After you leave the cave, look for a big rock with a skeleton. The chronicle is behind the rock.
Before you meet the soldiers at the gate, go left and grab the chronicle by a torch.
After you use the second elevator to go up, go right over some barrels and find the chronicle near a pile of crates.
When the chapter starts, double back behind the soldiers and find the chronicle in the grass.
When someone yells “Movement ahead!”, turn right at this spot and get the chronicle in the grass.
After the fight near the fire, go right and jump over a log. Keep going forward until you see the chronicle on your left.
When you reach the area with campfire, look near the waterfall for a chronicle by a torch.
Once you receive the “Organize Defensive Formations” objective, go left and then take a right. Follow the path until you get the chronicle.
When you have to start saving your allies from fire, go left and head back to get the chronicle.
After the castle battle, go down the first passage and find an open home. The chronicle is in the house.
This chronicle is also in a house. You can enter the house in the area where you have to push a cart. It’s on the left side.
Before you go across the water with your soldiers, go back and find a small path on the left between two buildings. Follow it and grab the chronicle.
In the market, go forward and find a platform you can jump on. It has a white top. Then, take two lefts to get to the chronicle’s location.
While you are looking for the courthouse, go up the ramp and go right instead. Grab the chronicle.
When you get the “Getting to the Defensive Line” objective, turn left to get the chronicle near a crate.
In the area with people praying, find a spot where you can drop down and go right to find the chronicle.
In the courtyard, after you are attacked, look right and hop over to another area where the chronicle is.
After you defeat some enemies with the Scorpio, go through the gate and head right to get a chronicle behind a tree.
Before you enter the arena, go right and follow the path to the end to get a chronicle.
Inside the arena, before you light the flame, jump over a white barricade to grab the chronicle.
When you receive the objective “Fight to Commodus”, go straight ahead instead of jumping down to get the chronicle.
After you get asked to gather reinforcements, go up the stairs and turn left to find the chronicles.
After you go down the ramp, go left and break through the barricade to get the chronicle.
Right before you reach the Formation Flag, go right and find the chronicle near some logs.
In the hall with red curtains, turn left at the end to find the chronicle.
In a back alley with screaming people, look right by a wooden fence for a chronicle.
When you need to follow the soldier, drop down and go right through a gate. Turn right again and bust through a barricade to get the last chronicle.
