Halo 4: Terminal Locations

There are seven Terminals to find in Halo 4 for the Xbox 360 for you achievement junkies out there.

You’ll get a cool 60 gamer points if you find all seven of them, so you might as well look for them on your first playthrough.

Here are all of the terminal locations sorted by chapter.

Halo 4 Terminal Locations

Terminal 1 – Located in Chapter 2: Requiem. Before you go into the tower at the end of the mission, kill the armored Hunters and look for the ramp leading up to the central tower’s elevator shaft. Look beneath the ramp for the terminal.

Terminal 2 – Located in Chapter 3: Forerunner. Master Chief’s screen will flicker for a moment near the beginning of the first mission, and Cortana will say “What’s that distortion?” Once that happens, look for a circular structure with multiple columns on the ground floor of the nearby Promethean building to find the terminal.

Terminal 3 – Located in Chapter 4: Infinity. After you meet up with the UNSC soldiers, there will be a cutscene. Once the cutscene is over, look behind you for the terminal.

Terminal 4 – Located in Chapter 5: Reclaimer. After you get Cortana back, you will be told to escape in the elevator. Before you do that, go down the hall to the right to find the terminal.

Terminal 5 – Located in Chapter 6: Shutdown. In the Production Tower (the third tower), take the elevator up and cross the energy bridges toward the objective. Once you defeat the two Hunters, back track across the energy bridge you just crossed and take a right to find a new platform, where you’ll find the terminal in the back.

Terminal 6 – Located in Chapter 7: Composer. After the cutscene with Dr. Tillson, look nearby for a building with the word Atrium written on it. You’ll find the terminal below that building in a small rock cave.

Terminal 7 – Located in Chapter 8: Midnight. After you crash onto the enemy ship, you’ll get into a fight with the Protheans that spans through multiple chambers. You’ll find the terminal in the third chamber behind the middle pillar.
