Saints Row IV – Cheat Codes, Secret Weapons, and Romance Guide

Saints Row IV is continuing the fun and quirky series developed by Volition, Inc.  Like the other games in the series, there are several cheat codes that the player can enter in order to get bonuses and change the environment. The game also features a secret easter egg. New to the series, players now also have the option to engage in romantic activities with “homies”. Read on to learn more about these Saints Row features.

Cheat Codes

To use a cheat code, hit start to access the pause menu. Go to “extras” and choose “cheats”. Select “add cheat” and enter one of the following codes to change your game. Using a cheat code will disable auto-save, but you will still be able to do a manual save.

Type in give followed by the name of a weapon or vehicle and you will be given one, i.e. giveairstrike or giveestrada

Romance Options

Players can romance certain “homies” found in the game.  In order to romance a character, you must first complete all their extra missions, as well as their loyalty mission. Then, the romance option will become available.

Secret Easter Egg Room

There is a secret room in Saints Row IV with a special weapon. Go to the Let's Pretend store in Steelport. You could also check any Let's Pretend store.  Look for an "employees only" door. Shoot this door until it opens. Go through the hallway and down the stairs to reach a room with special weapon called the Loud Locust. There is also a shooting gallery here, featuring images of the developers!
