Borderlands: How to Duplicate Items

In Borderlands for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC, there is an easy way to duplicate items by exploiting the coop feature. You can do this one of two ways, depending on what you prefer.

1. Join an online coop game with a friend and bring along the items you want to duplicate. Drop the items you want to duplicate and let your friend pick them up. Quit out of the game without saving. Join back again, and you’ll still have the items you dropped, and once your friend gives you back the ones you dropped you’ll have double.

2. Start a single player game with the character you want to duplicate items with. Exit to the menu and start a local coop game, and sign in with a second controller using the same character that has the equipment you want to duplicate. Drop the items with your second player and pick them up with your first player. Have your second player drop out without saving, while your first player quits and saves.
