Grand Theft Auto V – Bail Bond Target Missions Guide

There’s plenty of work to do in Grand Theft Auto V. One of the best things you can do to make money early on in the game is complete bail bond missions. These missions involve finding and catching people who have jumped bail. You can also kill them, but that tends to be less rewarding! There are four targets in total.

To start doing these bail bond missions, talk to a woman named Maude as Trevor. She is found on her farm north of Sandy Shores and east of the Grand Señora Desert. After you meet her, she’ll send you bail bond targets through email to Trevor. Completing missions gives the player $5,000 for a kill and $10,000 for a capture. Capturing a bail bond target alive will also earn you the 10 point achievement or bronze trophy called “Alive or Alive”.

Bail Bond Target #1

The first bail bond target is Ralph Ostrowski. He’s located in the Davis Quarry, which is to the south of Maude’s farm. Wait for him to get into a car, and then give chase in your own vehicle. Cause damage to the car to make him stop, but avoid killing him if you want the higher reward. He’ll surrender when he stops his car. Once he does, take him back to Maude’s place.

Bail Bond Target #2

The second target is Larry Tupper, and he’s located south of Sandy Shores in the Great Chaparral area. He is hanging out with some of his buddies, who you’ll have to wipe out. While you are fighting, Tupper makes a break for it. You have to run and catch up to him. He’ll surrender if you beat him up a little, or you can use your stun gun on him.

Bail Bond Target #3

The next bail jumper is Glenn Scoville.  He’s located at the top of Mount Chiliad, about to go parachuting down with a buddy. Unless you want to kill him, you have to wait for him to jump off. Then, quickly grab the other parachute and follow him down. The two of you will land near the Alamo Sea. If you stay behind Scoville and glide towards him as he lands, you can tackle him from the air. If you miss, you can use your stun gun or beat him up to get him to surrender.

Bail Bond Target #4

The final bail bond target is Curtis Weaver, located at a homeless camp near Mount Chiliad. He is armed and will be out to kill you. If you want to capture him, go in prepared with your stun gun. Be aware that he might start to try to run. Capture him and bring him back to Maude to finish all the missions.
