There are eleven Sokolov Paintings hidden throughout the game in Dishonored for you OCD (obsessive completionist disorder) gamers out there.
Ok, so I’m included in that group as well.
Collecting all eleven of these paintings will get you a cool 50 gamer points on the Xbox 360, or a silver trophy on the PS3 though.
So here you are, all Sokolov painting locations.
There is only one painting in this mission, and it’s located in the basement of the mansion. You’ll have to find the hidden button to the basement near the entrance to the Kennels.
There are three paintings in this mission, and they are all located in the Art Dealer’s apartment.
First you’ll need the key to the Art Dealer’s apartment. You’ll find a woman being harassed by thugs in the alley past the Wall of Light, so help her out to get the key. After that, go to the Golden Cat to interrogate the Art Dealer for his safe combination.
Open the Art Dealer’s apartment and you’ll find one of the paintings inside the safe.
On the second floor you’ll find two thugs checking out another painting, so knock them out to get it.
The third painting is found in the bedroom on the third floor.
You’ll find the painting on the first floor in Sokolov’s house. Take out all of the guards nearby before you try to take it.
The first painting will be in the room of the Boyle sister that is your target for the mission, which won’t always be the same, but the painting should always be in your target’s room.
The second painting is in the gallery on the second floor.
The painting is located on the second floor inside of the tower, in a room with a fireplace. Of course you’ll see it above the fireplace.
Located on the third level of the wrecked building in the Waterfront area.
After you raid the Assassins’ Headquarters, you’ll find a chain that you can climb down on the way out. You’ll find the painting on a platform as you’re climbing down.
The last painting is in the sewers in the Old Port District Outskirts, upstairs from the Granny Rags area.
