Hudson has already proved its mettle as champion of the Wii ball rolling game with Kororinpa. Which is perhaps why it’s back to have another go with a Balance Board-compatible ball rolling game that’s officially known as the Kororinpa sequel in the US, but strangely titled without any official sequel-sounding moniker in the UK.
It calls on similar skills, such as a light hand with the Wii remote (if you’re using it) to tilt your way through levels set in snow, outer space and water. You get a range of themed balls, each with unique stats, to unlock. It’s the 100 Balance Board levels and the Edit mode that make it stand apart from the previous Kororinpa. But unfortunately they don’t make it better, and this time around it isn’t as charming, as precise to control or as beautifully designed as its predecessor.
