The United States Presidential Election of 2016 is underway, and while there are plenty of ways to track the campaign, you might not be sure which candidates you should support yet.
By using the bipartisan iSideWith political quiz, you can quickly find out how your political views match up against all candidates currently in the running.

The quiz is relatively straightforward: there are questions on social, environmental, economic, and policy issues. Once you complete the quiz, you’ll see the 2016 candidates that most closely match your views. That’s all.
If you’re interested, you can choose a candidate and dive into the details of their responses vs. yours. You can also view the polls page to get results on specific issues from other site visitors.

There are three things you should note to get the most out of this quiz. First, when you reach the end of a category, be sure to click the Show X more questions so you can answer everything.
Second, though it’s tempting to just answer Yes or No, try clicking on Other stances to see more possible responses. They’re usually in the form of Yes, but… and allow you to show why you hold a particular stance.

Finally, don’t miss the slider on the left side of the question. This lets you set how important an issue is to you on a scale from 1 to 5. By fine-tuning how questions are weighed, you get a better idea of which candidates match you.
You can also take this quiz without being compared to candidates if you prefer. Got your candidate match? Check out some political commentators to follow on Twitter.
