The Pomodoro technique is quite a popular productivity mantra. No wonder there are so many apps geared to help people make the best of it. Among some of the unusual takes on Pomodoro is the free PomoDone app for your desktop.
PomoDone adds a Pomodoro timer to your task management service of choice, whichever that happens to be. You can sync PomoDone with specific projects or to-do lists and start working on tasks from them right away.
I combined @asana and Pomodone to help struggling students learn time management and break up large assignments! They are succeeding!

For now, you can connect PomoDone to popular tools like Trello, Todoist, Wunderlist, Evernote, Asana, and Basecamp.
Can’t find your task management app in that list? Don’t worry. It might make an appearance soon, because the list of supported services is ever-growing. In the meantime, PomoDone has a local to-do list feature that you can make use of.
PomoDone might look basic, but it packs some useful features like hotkeys, time tracking, and custom time intervals for work and breaks. There’s a Chrome extension as well, but we recommend staying away from that till it shapes up better.
Pomotodo and Pomello are a couple of other apps that add the usefulness of a Pomodoro timer to to-do lists.
Which Pomodoro app do you use? What do you like best about it?
