Wii Products Are All The Rage!

I remember when Nintendo Wii first came out - you couldn't find one on shelves at ANY store for at least a year. Even now, it is one of the hottest selling items in the world - not just the country! People wanted everything Wii had to offer including the console, games, accessories and the Wii Fit. There are a few party poopers out there that don't like this because it's interactive and they would rather sit on their couch fighting ghosts on a remote control. But for millions of others it has become a household item!

A lot of people actually like that this is unlike any other console out there. It's not just about sitting on your couch. It's about the promotion of interactive gaming and getting - fit! A distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detect movement in three dimensions.

This guy can be used as a fishing rod, a tennis racket and can even be switched out for a car wheel which will allow you to race against people! I love it. One major accessory or "adapter" that a lot of people really love about the Wii is the Wii Fit Balance Board. This thing is truly awesome and I doubt you will see anything like it for years to come. It is a wireless balance board accessory for the Wii that contains multiple pressure sensors used to measure the user's center of balance.

Namco Bandai produced a mat controller, a simpler less sophisticated competitor to the balance board that connects to the GameCube controller port. The Nintendo Wii Fit with a Wii Fit Balance Board will turn your living room into a fitness center for great fun and exercise. You will have fun working out by yourself, with friends and family. Entertain for hours with classic poses that focus on balance and stretching such as ski jumping, learn to hold a perfect yoga pose, heading soccer balls, swivel hips to power hoop twirls, and other fun activities that challenge the player's overall body balance!

The other cool thing about the Wii Fit plus the board is that you have all kinds of "personalized" options. I believe the Fit can program up to 8 different people. So if I have a program where it has my height, weight, options it will save it as Kristi. If my mom has her own it can be named after her, etc. So each time that person uses it they can have their own personalized "menu" of activities. Maybe I love aerobic type exercises but you love Yoga. Awesome. We can both do our own thing and it won't cross-over.

The boards are usually expensive in offline stores. But if you buy online you are looking at a very good chance to get an awesome price. Heck, you could even get the Wii Fit with the Wii Fit Balance board and kill two birds with one stone! Either way, this is a fantastic option to get fit, get in shape and add a little statement to your life! Whoever said exercising couldn't be fun didn't own a Wii!

Other gaming consoles you can check out include - Xbox, Playstation, PSP and SNES
